Biography — Kara Zor-El, legally named Kara Danvers, is a Kryptonian survivor of the House of El and the only daughter of the deceased Zor-El and Alura Zor-El, the younger paternal cousin of Kal-El (Superman/Clark Kent), with whom she is one of the last survivors of Krypton. With the surviving Argo City protected by a force field, Zor-El spent her childhood living with her parents before the city's soil became infected with Kryptonite, causing many Kryptonians to perish. Forced to leave her home, Zor-El and Krypto were sent on a ship to Earth, where she eventually met Kal-El and adjusted to her new life on Earth, operating as the superheroine Supergirl as an occasional ally of her cousin and the superhero team the Justice Gang.

Kara Zor-El was born on Argo City to Zor-El and Alura Zor-El, a city discounted from Krypton after its destruction. She lived there for the first 14 years of her life. Toward the end of her childhood there, she watched as everyone around her slowly and horrifically died from Kryptonite poisoning. She reluctantly left the planet in a reconstructed version of Kal-El's Kryptonian Rocket remade by her father, promising to use the powers she will develop on Earth to protect those unable to defend themselves.

Landing in Antarctica, Kara met her cousin Kal-El. She was however unable to understand the English language Kal-El had learned, and was confused by his outfit, in which Kal-El operates as "Superman." Superman later gave Kara a similar outfit, so that people knew she came in peace. She became known as Supergirl. From her integration into the city of Metropolis and with the teaching of Kal-El, Kara learned English, and adopted the legal name Kara Danvers.

Appearance — Supergirl is a 5'9, (slightly tanned) white, Kryptonian woman. Looks like a human, though. But she is still an alien! She's got long, back length, sunset blonde, messy hair, and her bangs dont cover her eyes, and a small nose. She's a slim (but not skinny) girl. She also has a flat stomach.
