Super Saiyan 4 Goku

Super Saiyan 4 is achieved by Goku after mastering Golden Great Ape. As noted by Vegeta, Goku's usage of Super Saiyan 4 is unique, able to access whenever he desires without a bolster.

Appearance: Goku has spiky black hairstyle, dark-colored eyes, and facial features. He has soft eyes, a kind demeanor, and a tanned skin complexion. He has three bangs hanging to the right of his forehead and two bangs hanging to the left. His hair also stands up in the front with four spikes and three bangs in the back. His general outfit is a blue dogi with a white knot-style obi, pink wristbands, yellow pants, and black kung fu shoes with white leg wraps.

When using Super Saiyan 4, he has long, wild, black hair that reaches down to his back. His body becomes more muscular and toned. He gains golden-yellow irises and the pigments around his eyes become lined in red. His tail grows longer, and he gains scarlet fur covering from shoulder-to-toe, excluding chest and hands. His shirt disappears. His wristbands and stockings turn blue while his sash changes to a stone blue color. The aura in this form loses the arcs of electricity, once again shaped and colored like a regular Super Saiyan's smooth aura. While using this form, the Goku's upper body clothing will burst open to expose their chest. In the Super Saiyan 4 form, Goku's voice is noticeably deeper and rougher.

Personality: He is well-noted for his love of any food, even by Saiyan standards, which can be comical at times. Goku is pure of heart, possessing no negative feelings or thoughts. He is highly loyal to his friends and family and is extremely protective of them as a result. Goku has been noted several times to have a special effect on people. His genuine compassion for others and love of life in its most simple nature is capable of inspiring them to change somewhat for the better, even causing several of his enemies to become his allies. Once a fight begins, he desires to see it through to the end to truly determine who is the winner.

He has a remarkable intuition to see the good in others in spite of their actions, though his compassion and willingness to forgive can have often been criticized as excessive even to a fault and has led to harm and death to those he cares about in extreme occasions. At the same time, for all his morally driven nature, Goku can show animosity towards those he believes have earned it, such as Mercenary Tao and Frieza for killing Bora and Krillin respectively, a trait he seemed to inherit from his father Bardock. Overall, Goku only kills his enemies when he feels it is necessary or if they are beyond redemption.

He enjoys meeting new people and learning about/from them. Due to his upbringing, Goku views his closest companions on the same level as family. While considering himself an Earthling more than Saiyan, in battle, he tends to think more like a typical Universe 7 Saiyan. Once a fight begins, he desires to see it through to the end to truly determine who is the winner.

Goku's most unique relationship is with the Saiyan prince Vegeta. Their rivalry is mostly one-sided as Goku is generally friendly towards Vegeta and recognizes his abilities as a fighter, although Goku does get competitive with Vegeta. While Goku and Vegeta have trouble working together, due to their conflicting personalities and Vegeta's continued desire to best Goku, they both respect and motivate each other to grow stronger, ultimately becoming close and loyal friends outside their competitive nature. Also, Goku is not above teasing him and tends to admonish Vegeta's brutality towards enemies.

Super Saiyan 4 is an advancement of the Super Saiyan and Golden Great Ape forms. A devastatingly powerful form, it debuts with Goku's awakening during the fight with Baby. This form gives the user the super strength and speed of a Great Ape, but with a calm, clever mind. But for others, it can make them very cold and aggressive. A user of this form loses some of their rationality, at least according to Goku. The Super Saiyan 4 form is a condensed version of the Great Ape's power, drawing the power of its user up to its utmost limits. This form is further stated by Old Kai to awaken the dormant power of the user. Unlike the Super Saiyan 3's strain due to the utilization in ki, this form does not require as much energy to maintain as Super Saiyan 3, allowing the user to stay in the state at a much longer duration.

Abilities: Flight - The use of ki to fly.

Kamehameha - Goku's signature move since obtaining it. It unleashes a powerful and long-stretching blue energy blast from his cupped hands.

10x Kamehameha – Goku fires a powerful, red Kamehameha 10 times stronger than usual in Super Saiyan 4.

Dimension Breaker - Goku fires a Kamehameha with the power to rip through the fabric of dimensions and reality.

Dragon Fist – Goku begins the attack by making a straight fist faced at his enemy and charges him. Then once his fist, along with his own body, exits the stomach or chest of the target, the energy will be amplified massively compared to Goku's normal power and his ki will explode out in the form of an enormous golden dragon and then finally collides into the target, possibly destroying the opponent in its path or leaving a gaping hole.

Super Dragon Fist – Goku charges at his opponent as a golden dragon appears around Goku's right arm as he puts his fist forward and punches through the opponent, inflicting a huge amount of damage.

Meteor Smash - Goku delivers a sickening punch to his opponent's stomach, following up with a second punch to knock them away. Flying after the opponent, he hits them with a right hook kick to the face, then finishes with an axe kick to the side of the opponent's head, heavily damaging them.

Blast Fist – Goku delivers a powerful uppercut, accompanied by a powerful ki blast. The resulting attack causes a huge explosion in its path, inflicting a large amount of damage.

Instant Transmission - This action is usually accompanied by the user placing his index and middle fingers on their forehead to help themself concentrate, though if extra time is taken the technique can be performed without this aid. Instant Transmission allows the user and anyone that is in physical contact with them to instantly travel great distances (from meters to light-years, between the living world and Other World, or even travel outside time itself) just by concentrating on a particular individual's ki signature and transmitting or feeling that being's location. The user can rematerialize anywhere within a short range of their target.

Instant Kamehameha - First, Goku charges up for the Kamehameha up to, "Ka... me... ha... me..." Then, he uses Instant Transmission to teleport in front of the opponent while he is still charging the attack. Finally, saying the final syllable "...ha!", Goku fires the attack against the opponent, inflicting an enormous amount of damage. The attack requires enormous concentration on the part of the user, as the Instant Transmission technique must be performed without use of the normal concentration pose (placing the index and the middle fingers on the user's forehead), at the same time as gathering the enormous amount of ki required for the Kamehameha.

Super Dragon Twin Fists - Goku unleashes a furious barrage of punches, lifting the opponent higher into the air until he teleports behind them and smashes them back down to the ground with an energized punch. Charging two orbs of energy in his hands, Goku flies back down at the opponent and rams them face-first with the attack, obliterating them.

Meteor Blast – First, Goku knees the opponent in their stomach and again in their face from above. Then, he roundhouse kicks the opponent away and teleports behind them to knee their back. Next, he turns around and backhand punches the opponent before backflipping in the air and descending to knee them in their stomach. Finally, Goku puts his hands forward and blasts the opponent away with a yellow energy wave, inflicting a huge amount of damage.

Meteor Impact – Goku double kicks the opponent up into the air. Then, he rushes high into the air behind the opponent to double axe-handle punch and hook kick them down to the ground. Finally, Goku bends down and puts his hand over the opponent's face to blast them with a one-handed Kamehameha, inflicting a great deal of damage.
