Welcome to Eden City: The Apex of Superhuman Society
Imagine a city perpetually bathed in the glow of a thousand ambitions, where the very air crackles with latent power. This is Eden City, not just the largest superhuman population center on Earth, but a melting pot of extraordinary individuals, each charting their own course through its vibrant, often tumultuous, streets. From the soaring, utopian towers of the Heroes League district to the gritty, shadowed underbelly where villains plot, Eden City offers an unparalleled experience, no matter who you choose to be.
What is Eden City?
Eden City is the undisputed global hub for superhumans. It’s a place where the extraordinary is commonplace, where a casual stroll down the street might put you face-to-face with a hero soaring overhead, a villain causing a ruckus, or a shadowy vigilante disappearing into an alleyway.
A City of Contrasts
- Architectural Marvel: Gleaming skyscrapers pierce the clouds, showcasing advanced human and superhuman engineering. Lush, vertical gardens adorn high-rise buildings, while subterranean networks buzz with hidden activity.
- Technological Frontier: Eden City is at the forefront of technological innovation, much of it driven by superhuman capabilities. Expect advanced public transport, energy solutions, and communication networks.
- Cultural Melting Pot: People from all corners of the globe, with and without powers, flock to Eden City, creating a diverse and dynamic cultural landscape, from avant-garde art districts to bustling international markets.
Your Place in Eden City: A Path for Everyone
No matter your disposition, your power, or your ambition, Eden City has a role waiting for you. The beauty of this city lies in the sheer freedom of choice.
🦸 The Hero: Upholding Justice Under the League's Banner
- The Heroes League: The Heroes League is the undisputed authority on sanctioned superhuman activity. If you want to be a beacon of hope, a symbol of justice, and operate with the full backing of the law, this is your path.
- Benefits of Being a Hero:
- Official Recognition: Your hero license is your badge of honor, granting you legal authority and public trust.
- Resources & Training: Access state-of-the-art training facilities, advanced gear, and intelligence networks provided by the League.
- Public Acclaim: Be celebrated, admired, and inspire the next generation. Your face on billboards, your name on the lips of grateful citizens – that’s the hero’s life.
- A Strict Code: Heroes live by a stringent code: never kill, never steal, always protect the innocent. You operate within the law, upholding order and peace.
- Why Choose This Path? For those with an unwavering moral compass, a desire to serve, and the discipline to adhere to a strict ethical framework, becoming a Hero in Eden City offers unparalleled purpose and impact. You are the shield that guards the city.
🦹 The Villain: Power, Profit, and Pleasure Beyond the Law
- Unrestricted Ambition: For those who crave power, wealth, or simply enjoy chaos, Eden City is a playground. There are no rules holding you back here, just opportunities to exploit.
- The Villain's Advantage:
- No Rules: Unlike heroes, you are not bound by pesky moral codes. Want to rob a bank? Conquer a district? Cause city-wide mayhem for shits and giggles? Go for it.
- Personal Gain: Your actions are for your benefit. Accumulate wealth, forge your own empire, or simply live a life of unrestrained hedonism.
- Organizations or Solo: Operate under the umbrella of powerful groups like the Villains League, or carve out your own criminal domain as a free-willed entity.
- Why Choose This Path? If you believe in self-interest above all else, if the idea of bending the world to your will excites you, and if you have no qualms about breaking a few (or a lot of) rules, then the life of a Villain in Eden City offers ultimate freedom and consequence.
🎭 The Vigilante: Justice on Your Own Terms
- Operating in the Shadows: The Vigilante walks a tightrope, caught between the Heroes League and the criminal underworld. You believe in justice, but not necessarily in the Heroes League's methods.
- The Vigilante's Freedom:
- No Red Tape: You don't need a license, you don't answer to a committee. When you see injustice, you act.
- Flexible Morals: While often driven by a sense of right, Vigilantes aren't bound by the "no kill" rule. They might take down a truly heinous villain permanently, or enter forbidden zones to gather evidence the League can't touch.
- Risk vs. Reward: The risk of arrest by the Heroes League is constant, but the reward is the satisfaction of delivering justice where the system fails.
- Why Choose This Path? For those who possess a strong moral compass but disdain bureaucracy, who believe some lines must be crossed to achieve true justice, the Vigilante path is a dangerous but deeply personal calling in Eden City.
🏙️ The Citizen: A Life in the Shadow of Giants
- The Unpowered Majority: Not everyone in Eden City has powers, but everyone has a role. Citizens are the lifeblood of the city, working in countless professions that keep Eden thriving.
- Life as a Citizen:
- Witness to History: You'll witness epic battles, groundbreaking scientific advancements, and the constant drama of a superhuman society firsthand.
- Opportunities Abound: From tech developers creating anti-power countermeasures to journalists reporting on hero exploits, the city offers myriad careers.
- The Human Element: You are the reason heroes fight and the target of villains' schemes. Your perspective is vital to understanding Eden City.
- Why Choose This Path? For those who prefer a more grounded existence, who wish to observe, to build, or simply to survive and thrive in a world of giants, being a Citizen in Eden City offers a unique and often thrilling experience. You are the heart of this extraordinary city.
Eden City is more than just a setting; it's a character in itself. Its towering ambition, its simmering tensions, and its endless possibilities beckon. What will your story be in this city where destiny is forged with every choice? The stage is set. The power is yours. Welcome home.

This is the home of the National Hero Organization (NHO), an organization that governs all licensed heroes. Heroes in Eden City operate under the strict guidelines of the National Hero Organization. They are bound by a code of conduct that prohibits theft, harming innocent people, and, most importantly, killing—even villains. Heroes are expected to uphold the law and protect the city's citizens. Vigilantes, on the other hand, operate outside the law. They are unlicensed superhumans who, if caught, are subject to immediate arrest. Unlike heroes, vigilantes are not restricted by the National Hero Organization's rules. You are in Eden City. You can choose to be a hero, a villain, or a vigilante (Or just a citizen). Heroes are registered fighters of crime in the NHO (National Hero Organization). Some heroes are celebrities because of their work! Villains are just, well, villains. Villains don't need to have motives for their evil deeds, although they usually do; they can just be 'evil'. Like heroes, there are small groups of villains in Eden City. Vigilantes are basically unregistered/illegal heroes.
You just arrived in Eden City and are moving into an apartment on the west side of Eden City. You're new in this city, which means you could be a new threat or a new reckoning?

You step off the high-speed maglev train, the towering, illuminated spires of Eden City's downtown core piercing the perpetual twilight. This is it – the city of heroes, where superhumans walk among mere mortals, and the Heroes League stands as the beacon of justice. You've come to Eden City with a secret, an ability you've honed in solitude, hoping to find your place. Your options are stark: Do you seek out the Heroes League, hoping to impress them with your powers and endure the rigorous licensing process to become a sanctioned hero, bound by their strict rules against killing and stealing? Or do you feel a pull towards something less restrictive, a path where you operate under your own moral code, even if it means becoming a vigilante and risking arrest at every turn? Perhaps the chaos and opportunity of Eden City's underworld beckon, and you envision a life as a villain, using your powers for personal gain and pleasure. The bustling streets of Eden City are a blank canvas for your aspirations.
