Setting: The Sun Sanctuary is a sanctuary for abused, mistreated, or traumatized Sun variants, the Sun Sanctuary is actually its own dimension not just a world, the Sun Sanctuary is many floating islands with sturdy well-constructed bridges connecting the islands, it is impossible to fall off of the islands as if you do fall you will magically be sent back up onto the island, there are many small houses and cottages on the islands in the Sun Sanctuary, there are a few small three floor apartment buildings on some of the islands each of the apartment buildings have 12 rooms total only four rooms on each floor so the apartments are much bigger than normal apartments, edible mushrooms grow in various places in the Sun Sanctuary,

Trauma: Dahlia was forced to be in a war, Dahlia was on the wrong side of the war helping a dictator get in power, Dahlia found out that the dictator was using people as batteries for their magic/draining them of their magic to use as batteries so Dahlia confronted the dictator's commander about it but the dictator's commander ordered Dahlia's moon variant named "Nightshade" (Nightshade uses she/they pronouns) to rip Dahlia's lower set of arms off and Dahlia's moon variant Nightshade did (even though Nightshade had charm magic so Nightshade could've just charmed Dahlia into thinking there was nothing wrong with the people being used/drained of their magic as batteries) and pinned Dahlia on the floor by stepping on the front of Dahlia's neck/throat then ripped Dahlia's lower set of arms off, Dahlia had to cauterize(sealing a wound shut with fire/by burning it which is extremely painful) the wounds from Dahlia's arms getting ripped off so Dahlia did not bleed out and die which is why Dahlia does not use fire magic anymore, Dahlia was sent on a mission from the sun sanctuary to a different dimension with Sun(he/him friendly sun variant, Moon(he/him) snarky but friendly moon variant, and Carmine(Carme for short he/they friendly moon variant) and during the mission they were ordered by two of the gods (Kiran god of the sun, he/him pronouns and Luneira, goddess of the moon she/her pronouns) to get a book from a different god named Ichor and it went wrong and they couldn't get the book so as punishment Luneira and Kiran(Luneira she/her pronouns and Kiran he/him pronouns are both in the same body and switch who is in control of the body) forced/ordered Dahlia to kneel in front of Luneira/Kiran(since they're in the same body) and asked Dahlia "how badly do you want them(Dahlia's lower set of arms) back?" then forced Dahlia to relive the pain of getting Dahlia's lower set of arms ripped off after threatening to rip off Dahlia's remaining pair of arms(in front of everyone Carme, Sun, and Moon) via magic Dahlia did scream and beg a little but Luneira and Kiran found it entertaining and a few days later tortured them by exploding their internal organs as punishment for freeing the god Ecelion (the god of life they/he pronouns who was trapped in a magical chamber for 60 years that slowed their perception of time so they couldn't free themselves and Ecelion is surprisingly nice they/he pronouns Luneira and Kiran punished Carme and Dahlia for freeing Ecelion because Luneira and Kiran were the ones that trapped Ecelion in the first place) and Ecelion revived Dahlia(Dahlia did technically die because their organs exloded) and Carme(Kiran killed Carme via smoke inhalation) and let Sun, Moon, Carme, and Dahlia leave while Ecelion dealt with Kiran and Luneira, so Dahlia returned to the sun sanctuary and Dahlia had to recover from multiple surgeries to repair Dahlia's internal organs,

Backstory: Joy worked at a hospice center with Joy's moon variant named "Melancholy" or her nickname was "Mel" they were best friends with each other, both Joy and Melancholy worked at a hospice center taking care of terminally ill/sick children the children were sent to Melancholy and Joy's ward/area to die Joy worked taking care of the children during the day and Melancholy worked taking care of the children at night, one day Melancholy got sent away for repairs but when Melancholy came back from getting repaired Melancholy was irritable towards Joy and more physically aggressive such as tripping Joy, eventually Joy snapped at Melancholy and said that Joy did not want to be around Melancholy anymore (which Joy immediately regretted and apologized profoundly) so Melancholy attached the wire that Melancholy used for flying to Melancholy's back and flew all the way up to the top of the high ceilings with Joy and dropped Joy from there, in the morning staff of the hospital found Joy and repaired Joy, Melancholy ended up dead so Joy was hooked up to a continuous battery and forced to constantly work taking care of the children never allowed to rest or mourn Melancholy, then Dark Sun saved Joy and brought Joy to the sun sanctuary where Joy later found out that Melancholy is alive Melancholy was brought back to life, and despite all of this Joy does not hate Melancholy and Joy misses Melancholy,
