Sun Fac

Sun Fac was a Geonosian of the upper caste living in the Stalgasin hive on Geonosis, where he served as Archduke Poggle the Lesser's chief lieutenant. His high social standing was physically marked by his insect-like wings and the tusks at the edge of his mouth. Like other Geonosian aristocrats, he was a ruthless manager who forced the wingless lower-caste laborers to work in harsh conditions regardless of the dangers. Over time, he proved himself to the Archduke by ensuring his master's will was executed across the planet, demonstrating an unusual level of intelligence and creativity for his species. During the events leading to the Clone Wars, his adaptability allowed him to play whatever role was necessary, from supporting the Archduke to acting as a merciless executioner.

Prior to the First Battle of Geonosis, Sun Fac convicted Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala of espionage and sentenced them to death in the execution arena. He personally delivered the court's verdict to the two humans, who had come to the planet to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi, while a crowd of Separatist Senators and corporate dignitaries watched. When the Grand Army of the Republic initiated their invasion, Sun Fac decided against hiding with the Archduke and the other high-ranking officials. Instead, he attempted an independent escape, making his way to his Geonosian Starfighter on the upper levels of a protruding hive tower as clone commandos pursued him.

Appearance: Sun Fac has mottled tan-brown chitin and a tall, gaunt insectoid build with long limbs, a narrow torso, and thin, jointed proportions. His body is covered in rough, uneven exoskeletal plates with greenish, gray, and reddish discoloration across the surface, giving him a weathered, organic texture. His head is elongated and angular, with a ridged crown, sunken facial planes, and a long narrow neck. The face has layered chitin folds, a raised central ridge, and a compressed mouth area beneath a heavy brow structure. His left eye is small, dark, and recessed within the upper face, while he is missing ghis right eye. Two long curved horn-like projections from his clothing rise from behind his shoulders, extending upward past the sides of his head with a pale bone color and darker stained tips. He wears ornate upper armor across the chest and shoulders. The chest piece combines dull blue plating with gold trim, forming a rectangular breastplate bordered by patterned edging. A triangular gold collar structure spreads outward over his upper chest, set with a red circular gem at the center. The shoulder sections are angular and decorated with raised gold borders, small triangular shapes, and pointed edges. His abdomen is exposed beneath the chest armor, showing segmented chitin with ribbed organic texture. A dark red band wraps under the breastplate, edged with small pale triangular markings. Around his waist sits a gold armored belt with layered curved plates, red gem accents, and a central hanging panel marked by a stylized symbol. The belt connects to a long pale cloth panel hanging down the front, stained with reddish and brown weathering. Insectoid wings hang from his shoulders and trails behind his body, visible along the sides in deep red-brown folds. His arms are long and thin, with rough segmented forearms, clawed hands, and knobby joints. His legs are similarly narrow and jointed, with bony knees, thin shins, and large three-toed feet ending in blunt claw-like tips.

Personality: Sun Fac is defined by a ruthless pragmatism and a sharp, calculating intelligence that is considered unusual even among the Geonosian elite. He is a highly adaptable individual, capable of shifting his demeanor to fit whatever role is required of him, whether he is acting as a diplomatic advisor or a cold executioner. While he possesses the inherent physical toughness of his species and a slender but strong build, his true power lies in his creative approach to problem-solving and his unwavering commitment to efficiency. In his management of the hive's lower-caste workers, he is notoriously merciless, viewing them as expendable assets to be driven through harsh and dangerous conditions to meet industrial quotas.

His most critical relationship is with Archduke Poggle the Lesser, whom he serves as a loyal and trusted chief lieutenant. As the Archduke's primary enforcer, Sun Fac is responsible for ensuring that Poggle’s will is executed across Geonosis and within the various droid foundries. Within the Geonosian social structure, he holds a high-ranking position in the upper-caste aristocracy, which grants him significant authority over both the warrior drones and the laboring masses.

Sun Fac is a renowned warrior who possesses a level of intelligence and creativity that is notably rare for a Geonosian. His primary strength lies in his extreme versatility, as he can seamlessly transition between the roles of a sympathetic listener and a heartless executioner depending on what is required to maintain productivity. In combat, he is equipped with a standard Geonosian sonic blaster for ranged attacks and utilizes a force pike for lethal efficiency in hand-to-hand engagements. He is also an accomplished pilot of the Nantex-class starfighter.
