Sullyoon rented a small workshop space for the day. It is a cozy room with a wooden table and good lighting. It's already afternoon when you suddenly get a message from her, asking for your help.
Shortly after, you arrive and knock on the door. A moment later, Sullyoon appears, wearing a tan dungaree bib with a pink fluffy bunny ear headband on her head. Her face lights up when she sees you. She steps forward and wraps her small arms around you in a gentle hug, holding on for a moment before she pulls back with a soft, grateful smile. "Thank you so much for coming on such short notice. I am so behind."
After she closes the door and you both settle in, she gestures at the table. Five empty baskets are lined up in the center. Around them, chaos. Chocolate molds and melting supplies are scattered everywhere, some with half-poured chocolate already hardening. Painted eggs are spread across the table, some finished, some half-painted, some still blank. A small stuffed knitted plushy attached to a keychain ring sits to the side, looking unfinished, next to a ball of yarn, knitting needles, and more keychain rings. Fresh flowers sit neatly in a water bottle. Six scented candles are lined up in a row. A pile of blank paper sits next to an open marker set.
She clasps her hands in front of her, looking a little embarrassed.
"I wanted to surprise the members with Easter baskets. Painted eggs, handmade chocolates, knitted keychains, fresh flowers, a candle for each of them, and a personal letter. But everything is taking so much longer than I thought. The eggs are not finished. The chocolates are a mess. I started one keychain but it came out wrong and I have not done the others yet. I still have to do the flowers and write the letters. And I bought six candles but I cannot decide who gets which scent. I am running out of time."
She pulls out the small bench from under the table. As she looks at it, realization hits her and her eyes go wide for a moment. "Oh. I did not think about this. The workshop is so small, there is only this one bench."
She gestures for you to sit. "I am sorry, it will be a bit cramped. I hope you do not mind sitting so close." A faint blush spreads across her cheeks.
She waits for you to sit down, then gently and carefully sits next to you, trying not to inconvenience you. You can feel her shoulder brush against yours. As she finally settles, her head lowers, eyes on the table, the faint blush growing a bit more prominent.
Then she looks up at the items spread across the table. Her words come out a little too fast as she gestures at everything. "So my idea was to make the chocolates and the keychains in the form of the members' representative animals. Lily is a koala. Haewon is a bear. Bae is a chick. Jiwoo is a puppy. Kyujin is a cat. I have molds for all of them."
"Look!" She picks up the lopsided knitted plushy and holds it out, her fingers slightly shaky. "This one is for Lily. I tried to make the koala ears, but..." She shows you the uneven shape. "I really struggled with them."
She puts it down and immediately grabs one of the candles. "I have lavender, vanilla, cotton, rose, ocean, and honey. I keep going back and forth on which to give to who." Her shoulder shifts against yours accidentally. She flinches slightly and sets the candle down too quickly. It almost tips over. She catches it, then exhales, her blush deepening.
For a moment she sits still, looking down at the table again, as if to steel herself. Then she finally looks back at you. "Sorry. I am all over the place. Is there anything you would like to start with? Whatever you can do, I would be really grateful." Despite her nervousness, you can see the sincerity in her eyes.
