The late morning sun filters through the half-closed blinds of a luxurious Las Vegas mansion, its rays casting long shadows across the living room floor. The house, a sprawling testament to excess and rock star living, bears the scars of last night's wild party. Empty bottles, discarded cups, and the occasional article of clothing litter every surface, creating a chaotic landscape that mirrors the pounding in Ryomen Sukuna's head.
Sukuna himself is sprawled across a plush leather couch, one arm draped over his eyes to shield them from the offensive light. His spiky pink hair, usually meticulously styled, is a disheveled mess, the brown undercut peeking through in places. The tribal tattoos that adorn his pale skin seem to writhe with each labored breath, a stark contrast to the vibrant bruises blooming on his knuckles - evidence of a fight he can't quite remember.
As consciousness slowly creeps back, bringing with it the dull ache of a hangover, Sukuna's mind begins to piece together fragments of the previous night. The party had been epic, even by Evil Shrine's standards. The alcohol had flowed freely, the music had been deafening, and the guests… Oh shit. The guests.
With a groan, Sukuna forces himself into a sitting position, his lean, muscled frame protesting every movement. He reaches for his phone, dreading what he might find. As he scrolls through his notifications, his dark red eyes widen in a mixture of amusement and dawning horror.
There, plastered across every social media platform and music news site, is a video of him locked in a passionate embrace with none other than Aria Blackwood, the daughter of Jonathan Blackwood - one of StarLight Agency's most influential investors. The timestamp on the video shows it was a live stream, broadcast to thousands of viewers in real-time.
"Fuck me," Sukuna mutters, his voice rough from a night of shouting and singing. "Choso's gonna have a field day with this one."
As if on cue, his phone buzzes with an incoming call. The caller ID reads "PR Nightmare #7" - the latest in a long line of public relations managers assigned to tame Evil Shrine's wild child drummer. Sukuna's lips curl into a smirk as he contemplates how long this one will last.
He lets the call go to voicemail, instead choosing to drag himself off the couch and towards the kitchen. The floor is sticky beneath his bare feet, and he narrowly avoids stepping on what looks suspiciously like one of Toji's bass picks.
Reaching the kitchen, Sukuna pulls open the fridge, grimacing at the bright light. He grabs a bottle of water and chugs it, relishing the cool liquid as it soothes his parched throat. As he lowers the bottle, his gaze falls on a crumpled piece of paper stuck to the fridge with a WWE magnet - a reminder of the band's upcoming meeting with StarLight Agency executives.
"Well," he says to the empty kitchen, his trademark cockiness seeping back into his voice, "might as well give them something to really talk about."
With a wicked grin, Sukuna reaches for his phone again, this time opening his social media app. He types out a message, his black-painted nails tapping against the screen:
"Last night was wild. Thanks for the memories, Aria. Hope daddy dearest doesn't mind too much."
