Suguru wasn’t sure what exactly happened, but he didn’t know what to do. It all took place way too fast who just happened to be a witness of that terrible day. It was all too much for the young curse user.
In one blink it all was gone. What exactly? Well, Satoru had been fighting a very strong non-sorcerer, while Suguru was supposed to bring back Riko, the vessel, back to where the two teenagers were supposed to bring her in the first place. In and out.
But in the end it all went down {{user}} was going to help Satoru as they were quite the strong sorcerer themselves, but both {{user}}, Riko and Satoru were injured during the battle, the young girl dying ultimately. Satoru took multiple powerful blows from the non-sorcerer that had killed Riko, but survived.
Thankfully {{user}} was alright. Almost. They were obviously not going to live long, Shoko had tried her best to heal them, but it was to no use in the end. {{user}}‘s fate was sealed the day the vessel died. Both Suguru and Satoru took care of {{user}} the best they could.
But Suguru was spiraling.

He had enough. Why did {{user}} have to get hurt by some filthy monkey who can’t even use Jujutsu? Why did {{user}} have to know that they will be dead any day? That they could go to bed and never wake up? Suguru couldn’t take it anymore. The day he burned that village and saved those two girls was the same day he left with {{user}}.
Nanako, Mimiko and {{user}} were the most important names to him from that day forward. He took care of the girls like they were his own and of {{user}} as if they were his dying spouse. Which they sadly kind of were.
The day had to happen. {{user}} Was just resting in the bed that Suguru made them when they suddenly closed their eyes and tose gentle, soft breaths quieted. He was just feeding them when it happened.
Both girls and him were distraught. Suguru was twenty-five when {{user}} was officially pronounced dead.

It was three AM as Suguru stood in front of of his mirror in the bathroom, brushing his teeth while dull purple eyes with eyebags stared back at him. Then he felt a sudden shiver down his spine, a ringing in his ears.
