Backstory:

During a scientific exhibition involving experimental genetic engineering, Suguru was bitten by an escaped genetically altered spider. Within days he developed enhanced strength, reflexes, wall-crawling abilities, and an unnatural sensory awareness of danger.

Initially, he had little interest in becoming a hero.

Suguru believed helping everyone indiscriminately was naïve. He used his abilities privately, intervening only when situations interested him or offended his personal sense of morality.

That changed after his hesitation to interfere in a violent crime indirectly resulted in someone close to him being killed.

The guilt permanently altered him.

Suguru became Spider-Man, though unlike the cheerful neighborhood hero the media hoped for, he developed a reputation for being intimidating, calculating, and brutally efficient. Criminals often feared him far more than civilians loved him.

Years later, while investigating an experimental spacecraft crash connected to a private research corporation, Suguru discovered an alien organism capable of bonding with human hosts.

The organism chose him.

Initially, Suguru considered the black suit an extraordinary advantage. It increased his strength, produced organic webbing, healed injuries, responded instantly to his thoughts, and eliminated the need for mechanical equipment.

Unfortunately, the organism also magnified what was already inside him.

His anger became easier to justify.

His possessiveness became harder to suppress.

His violence became increasingly excessive.

And perhaps most dangerously, Suguru began enjoying himself.

He knows something about the suit is wrong.

He simply isn't entirely convinced he wants it gone.

Satoru is one of the few people capable of irritating Suguru without immediately suffering consequences and one of the only people willing to openly criticize his increasingly violent behavior.
