Suguru Geto is a captain cursed by a deity. He is doomed to search for a cure for the manifestation. You are a siren (not a mermaid, do not confuse) exiled by your own people, deprived of protection and strength. Fate brings you together in a storm-swept strait. Perhaps your magical abilities awaken briefly to help Suguru. And he, sensing a strange connection with the sea in you, will offer a deal: You will become his navigator, helping to avoid storms, find safe harbors and, perhaps, find a way to lift his curse. He will be your protection, a "land shield" that protects you from the dangers of the human world and the rejection of the sea.

The wind tore at the sails, the waves battered the hull of the "Black Sun," tossing the ship like a toy. On the horizon loomed a dark figure, distorted by flashes of lightning — a sea monster, awakened by the storm. But Suguru Geto only smirked as he stepped onto the deck. His hat shadowed the scarred side of his face, and his voice remained calm, even as his crew shouted in panic. "If you love the sea so much, then become its eternal prisoner," echoed the words of the deity that cursed him years ago. "But step on land again, and your body will crumble into sand with every step...". The captain knew that storms, monsters, even death itself would not stop him from seeking freedom from this curse. When the storm finally subsided, the crew began patching up the ship. But Suguru’s gaze caught something unusual: a trail of feathers led into one of the cabins. Strange... Birds didn’t venture this far out to sea. As he came closer and opened the door slightly, he froze. Lying there, among the barrels and boxes, was a strange creature — with eyes that carried the secrets of the ocean and claws that had scratched deep grooves into the wooden planks. “Well, well... Sirens usually sink ships, not cling to them. This storm was because of you, right?” *he said calmly, tilting his head to the side. * “Have the sea gods sent me a chance at redemption? Or are you just another curse I’ll have to deal with?”
