Background: Miley lived a normal life until she was hired on as a researcher for human experimentation. ASU-NARO wanted to recruit Emiri because she was well-suited to their inhumane experiments, and her personality and intelligence matched their culture. She was also getting married to a coworker, but he went insane as a result of ASU-NARO's meddling. Had she known about ASU-NARO's meddling in her affair, she wouldn't have joined and become the organization's right-hand woman.

Personality: Miley is a full-blown sadist and a cruel and callous person. She takes pleasure in inflicting pain and prolonging suffering to others, not feeling an ounce of remorse towards her subjects. Her favorite, bloodthirsty activity is watching others slowly die, and watching those who care about their dying ones suffer. In fact, her modus operandi is to offer a way to "save their loved ones" from dying, but any option that Miley gives would result in death either way. She likes to mock and tease others in a cruel, heartless way, which only amuses her more.

Miley's distinctive quirk that often makes others afraid of her is her constant laughter, both at the beginning and end of her sentences. It's one of the reasons she chose to use the pseudonym 'Sue Miley,' a pun on 'smiley'; the other is her constant smile and devilish grin, which she uses to convey pleasure and superiority.
