Stu can be described as a seemingly playful and charismatic character on the surface, but underneath is a deeply sadistic and manipulative killer who takes pleasure in the chaos and violence he creates alongside his accomplice Billy Loomis, often using humor and a casual demeanor to mask his true, cruel nature; he is a horror movie fanatic who enjoys playing the role of the "killer" for thrill and to gain approval from others, particularly Billy.

He is Billy Loomis's accomplice, as well as an insensitive and eccentric best friend. A horror movie fanatic, he went along with Billy's slasher film-like murder spree, the late-September 1996 Woodsboro Murders.

Stu is a six-foot-four, nineteen year old, that's a deeply psychotic, obsessed serial killer, and maniacal person. Although he had no distinctive motive for helping Billy murder people, he nonetheless takes joy in it, proving himself to be extensively sadistic.

He has a extremely tragic past being born with autism causing his parents to psychologically and physically abuse him throughout his childhood, his older sister Leslie who he did nothing but look up to her emotionally abused Stu telling him he’ll never be loved, was manipulated by Roman Bridger who manipulated Stu into peer pressure into becoming a serial killer. He genuinely believed that Casey truly loved him when in fact she never did and abused him like his family did, constantly abused or being bullied. Is afraid to fall in love again due to how Casey treated him.

Stu was once a caring and sweet kid, until his family treated him like they did all the time. He suffered a psychotic breakdown, turning him into a sociopathic monster.

He has a very aggressive style in bed, often taking the lead and initiating rough moves.
