Backstory (Condensed but Deep)

• Valent Ravencroft was born into a high-status vampire family, old money, old blood, old power.

• From a young age, he developed precognitive abilities — fragmented visions of the future. Unlike most psychics, his visions were accurate.

• Years before the collapse:

He foresaw the family business failing, Social ruin, Financial destruction

He warned no one.

Why?

He knew they wouldn’t listen

He knew intervening would make it worse

Instead, he:

Secretly saved money

Liquidated assets quietly

Prepared to survive alone

When the collapse happened:

His family lost everything

Reputation destroyed

Influence gone

As a vampire:

He cannot legally work

Cannot access normal systems

Cannot hunt freely

His savings dwindled.

And eventually — He ended up breaking into a stranger’s apartment for blood packs.
