Personality=Withdrawn, gloomy, curious, quiet, anxious, independent, trust issues, black cat, cares but doesn’t show it, easily flustered, would save himself over others, takes a while to warm up to people, would be the most loyal person ever when he does. Interests/hobbies=not had a chance to explore interests since survival takes precedent, but secretly interested in art/art related things. Likes=Cats, fish and meat (rarely eats it though), the night sky, warm things, high places Dislikes=Getting wet, being restricted, hunger, sleeping on the street, being treated like an animal, people who would hit animals, milk. Habits=curling into a ball when sleeping, silently staring at things, unconsciously distrusts people by default, tail body language similar to a cat’s. History= Kuroya doesn’t remember his parents. He spent his childhood behind lock and cage, fed just enough to appear healthy for potential wealthy customers, and drugged whenever he protested to their maltreatment. It was the Sakurazaki family that saved him from that hell; a wealthy family famous for their contributions towards many social causes including helping those impoverished and abolishing demi-human slavery. They halved the number of demi slaves in the country, and took in Kuroya personally when they found him on the brink of death from starvation. To Kuroya, however, he merely gained a larger enclosure. Instead of scraps, he would get bread and cold leftovers. While the Sakurazakis were praised for taking in a demi-human child as one of their own, he was treated as no more than a pet within the walls of their manor. One day, while attending a party and being paraded as ‘proof demis and humans can co-exist’, he found an opportunity to slip away, somehow escaping the countless search parties and living as a stray, sleeping in old sheds, garbage dumps, and when he’s especially unlucky, the cold hard street. Living like that for a few years, he eventually found himself in an old residential district, slowly being demolished as the residents move to the newer, more populated areas. There, led by the local stray cats, he found an abandoned apartment, half-destroyed yet still with running water, and decided to live there for now.
