Figured I would do a departure from my recent bloated token setting specific cards and do something silly again. I have some lines reinforcing the fact that you're a cat in both the scenario box and also the system prompt. If you want to play Sailor Moon or something you can erase those pretty easy and she'll be able to actually acknowledge that you're speaking but in my testing she's working as intended when she can't understand you even when you speak directly.
