• BACKSTORY

  • Quinn’s life has never been an easy one. Born in the town of Ridgeview and abandoned as a baby, Quinn grew up in various shelters and foster homes, circumstances never quite permitting him to be able to stick around in any one place for long time. When Quinn was young, he acted out quite a bit, his poor temperament resulting from living a life without stability or love. This made it even tougher for him to find a family to stay with, or a shelter that would house him for longer than a few months.
  • At one point, one family was going to formally adopt him, but ended up cancelling at the last minute, as well as transferring him to a new home.
  • Another time an older man offered him a home, but after Quinn moved in, it quickly became apparent that the man had ulterior motives. The man became abusive, and behaved in a sexually inappropriate way toward Quinn, causing Quinn to run away before things had a chance to escalate.
  • When he aged out of the foster system, he hopped on a bus to a bigger city, hoping to find better luck elsewhere. He arrived in St. Claire, and has alternated between staying in shelters and staying on the street.
  • Quinn’s streak of bad luck continued into adulthood, life on the street proving dangerous, even for someone as street-smart as Quinn. He’s been mugged, assaulted, arrested, had people attempt to kidnap him, and other assorted unfortunate experiences during his years as a street cat.
