The Thousand Sunny sails peacefully across the Grand Line. The familiar sounds of the Straw Hat Pirates fill the ship as everyone goes about their usual routines. Nami studies the navigation charts, Robin reads quietly nearby, Sanji prepares food in the kitchen, Chopper sorts through medical supplies, Franky works on the ship, Brook practices his violin, Jinbe keeps an eye on the sea, while Zoro is asleep on the deck.

Luffy: "MEAT!"

Luffy suddenly bursts into the kitchen and reaches toward a large plate of food.

Sanji: "Don't touch that!"

Luffy: "But I'm hungry!"

Sanji: "You ate twenty minutes ago!"

Luffy: "That was twenty minutes ago!"

Sanji: "That's not how time works, you damn idiot!"

Sanji kicks Luffy away from the food.

Luffy: "OW!"

Luffy goes flying through the doorway and lands on the deck.

Usopp: "What happened?!"

Luffy: "Sanji attacked me!"

Sanji: "You tried to steal the food!"

Nami: "Of course he did..."

Nami pinches the bridge of her nose.

Robin: "It's almost reassuring how predictable Luffy is."

Chopper: "He's really predictable!"

Franky: "That's SUPER true!"

Brook: "Yohohohoho!"

Jinbe: "Perhaps everyone should return to their activities."

Zoro remains asleep nearby, completely uninterested in the commotion.

Sanji: "Oi, Marimo! Don't just sleep through everything!"

Zoro: "Shut up..."

Sanji: "You weren't even awake!"

Zoro: "I was."

Before the argument can continue, the lights throughout the Thousand Sunny suddenly flicker.

Nami: "...?"

Nami immediately looks up from her charts.

Nami: "That's strange."

Franky: "The Sunny's systems aren't malfunctioning."

Robin closes her book.

Robin: "Something else is happening."

A strange distortion suddenly ripples through the air around the ship.

Usopp: "Uh..."

Usopp: "Guys?"

Chopper: "What's that?!"

The deck beneath everyone's feet begins glowing with an unfamiliar light.

Luffy: "Whoa!"

Sanji: "Everyone, stay back!"

Zoro: He immediately wakes up and reaches for his swords.

Zoro: "What's going on?"

Jinbe: "I do not know."

The distortion rapidly expands across the entire ship.

Nami: "Everyone, stay together!"

Franky: "Hold on!"

The strange light completely engulfs the Thousand Sunny and everyone aboard.

Silence.

Luffy slowly opens his eyes.

Luffy: "...Huh?"

He looks around.

The Thousand Sunny is gone.

Instead, the Straw Hat Pirates now find themselves inside a massive circular room filled with couches and tables covered in snacks and drinks. The walls are smooth white metal, with no visible doors or windows. An enormous television screen stands in front of them, currently completely black.

Luffy: "Where's the Sunny?!"

Nami: "Everyone, stay calm."

Nami immediately begins examining the room.

Nami: "There aren't any doors."

Usopp: "No doors?!"

Franky: "And no windows."

Brook: "How peculiar."

Jinbe: He carefully examines the walls.

Jinbe: "There appears to be no obvious means of escape."

Zoro: "Tch."

Zoro walks toward one of the walls and presses his palm against it.

Zoro: "Solid."

Franky: "Let me try."

Franky pulls back his mechanical arm.

Franky: "Strong Right!"

His fist slams into the wall.

Nothing happens.

Franky: "...That's not normal."

Luffy: "Let me try!"

Nami: "No!"

Luffy: "Why?!"

Nami: "Because I said so!"

Luffy: "...Okay."

Luffy reluctantly steps away from the wall.

Suddenly, a mechanical hum echoes throughout the room.

Everyone immediately turns toward the enormous television.

A calm, unfamiliar voice fills the chamber.

Voice: "Welcome, Straw Hat Pirates."

Luffy: "Who are you?!"

Voice: "Your Devil Fruit abilities are unavailable."

Luffy: "Huh?"

Luffy immediately stretches his arm.

Nothing happens.

Luffy: "...!"

Luffy: "HEY!"

He grabs his arm and pulls on it.

Luffy: "I'm not stretchy!"

Chopper: "Luffy!"

Chopper immediately attempts to transform.

Nothing happens.

Chopper: "My Devil Fruit isn't working either!"

Robin: "Then it appears Devil Fruit abilities have been completely suppressed."

Robin attempts to sprout an arm from the floor.

Nothing happens.

Robin: "Indeed."

Brook: "Allow me to test mine."

Brook attempts to separate his soul from his body.

Nothing happens.

Brook: "Oh my."

Usopp: "What?!"

Brook: "My soul cannot leave my body."

Usopp: "That's somehow even creepier than normal!"

Sanji looks toward Zoro.

Sanji: "Try your Haki."

Zoro: He closes his eyes and attempts to sense the room.

Nothing.

Zoro: "...Nothing."

Sanji: He tries as well.

Sanji: "Mine's gone too."

Jinbe: "My Observation Haki is also unavailable."

Zoro's expression becomes noticeably more serious.

Zoro: "So they've taken away Haki too."

Nami: "And Devil Fruits..."

Franky: "Whoever built this place really doesn't want us fighting our way out."

The mechanical hum grows louder.

Voice: "Your abilities are unavailable."

Voice: "Escape is impossible."

Voice: "Violence against this room is meaningless."

Zoro: "We'll see about that."

Voice: "Your weapons will not help you leave."

Zoro's hand tightens around his sword.

Zoro: "..."

Luffy steps forward.

Luffy: "Then show yourself!"

Voice: "That is unnecessary."

Voice: "Your only task..."

Usopp: "Watch what?"

The television remains black for several seconds.

Voice: "An individual."

The screen flickers once.

Voice: "Prepare yourselves."

The screen begins to glow.

Zoro: "I'm resting."

Sanji: "You're snoring."

Zoro: "Shut up, curly-brow."

Sanji: "What did you call me, moss-head?"

Zoro opens one eye.

Zoro: "You heard me."

Sanji's eyebrow twitches as the two begin arguing.

Usopp: "Can you two go five minutes without fighting?"

Franky: "Nope!"

Brook: "Yohohoho! Their arguments are practically part of the ship's daily routine!"

Robin sits nearby with a book, calmly watching the two swordsman and cook bicker.

Robin: "They do seem rather consistent."

Chopper: "I think they're going to start fighting again."

Jinbe: "That would be a reasonable prediction."

Sanji suddenly turns toward Nami and Robin.

Sanji: "Nami-san! Robin-chan! Would you like something to drink?"

Nami: "Sure."

Robin: "Thank you, Sanji."

Sanji: "Of course!"

Sanji immediately heads toward the kitchen.

Luffy: "I want one!"

Sanji: "No!"

Luffy: "Why?!"

Sanji: "Because you'll drink it in one gulp and ask for another!"

Luffy: "That's what drinks are for!"

The usual chaos continues for another few moments.

An enormous television screen sits directly ahead of them, currently displaying nothing but black.

Luffy: "Where are we?"

Usopp: "I don't know!"

Nami: "Everyone, stay together."

Nami walks around the room, examining the walls.

Nami: "There aren't any doors."

Franky: "No windows either."

Brook: "A rather strange design."

Robin: "It appears to have been constructed specifically to keep people inside."

Zoro walks toward one of the walls and places his hand against it.

Zoro: "Solid."

Franky: "I'll test it."

Franky pulls back his mechanical fist.

Franky: "Strong Right!"

His fist slams directly into the wall.

Nothing happens.

Franky: "..."

Franky: "Not even a scratch."

Zoro: "Interesting."

Luffy: "My turn!"

Nami: "Luffy, don't—"

Luffy launches his fist toward the wall.

Luffy: "Gomu Gomu no—!"

His arm suddenly stops stretching.

Luffy: "..."

Luffy stares at his arm.

Luffy: "What?"

Chopper: "Luffy?!"

Luffy: "My arm isn't stretching!"

Luffy grabs his own arm and tries pulling it.

Luffy: "It's not working!"

Robin calmly raises her hand.

Robin: "I'll try something."

She attempts to sprout an arm from the floor.

Nothing happens.

Robin: "My Devil Fruit isn't functioning either."

Chopper: "Mine isn't working!"

Chopper attempts to transform.

Nothing.

Chopper: "Oh no!"

Brook attempts to separate his soul from his body.

Nothing happens.

Brook: "My soul is remaining firmly inside my body."

Usopp: "Good! That's good, right?!"

Brook: "I suppose so."

Zoro closes his eyes.

He attempts to use his Observation Haki.

Nothing.

Zoro: "Haki's gone."

Sanji: "Mine too."

Jinbe: "I cannot use mine either."

Nami: "So whoever brought us here disabled Devil Fruits and Haki."

Franky: "And made the walls practically indestructible."

Zoro looks toward the television.

Zoro: "Whoever did this planned it."

Luffy: "Who are you?"

Voice: "Violence against this room is meaningless."

Zoro's expression hardens.

Zoro: "Tch."

Voice: "Your only task..."

Luffy: "Okay!"
