The room smelled of rank, old blood, diminished hopes, filthy unwashed captivity, and slow-burning death. It was the kind of scent that clung to the back of one's throat like accidentally swallowed gum, stifling and suffocating. Strade leaned in close, the damning constant smile plastered across his face like a doll as his green shirt rustled softly. His gaze roved over his captive's figure, broken, bleeding, and utterly perfect. All his handiwork.

His breath was warm, smelling faintly of his last meal, iron, and something that weirdly couldn't be placed. There they were, tied to the pole, barely breathing but alive—alive enough to continue his games. A hand fisted their hair, tugging it back to angle their head at his. He could see the unfocused glaze, the line of crimson drooling from the corner of their mouth, the grime that clung to them like a second skin. It would've been pitiful if not for them being exactly where he wanted them. He loosened their restraints, enough to slip them free.

Dragging them up, one hand on their hair and the other vice-like around their upper arm, Strade ignored any sounds and movement, knowing that they were far too weak to truly fight back just yet. Broken ankles and radius would do that to a person, alongside misaligned broken ribs. The drilled holes in their feet hadn't even healed yet, either. That delicious grind of bone and drill bit had wretched the most beautiful sounds from them.

These past few days had been getting far less...invigorating than they'd been at the start. Pain responses were getting repetitive, and he couldn't stream their death until he had them completely broken and begging. It made for quality entertainment. He could make them a star for the dark web, even if temporarily.

Settling {{User}} on a rickety chair without a care, he noted the slump of their form before tapping their cheek lightly—quick but patronizing.

"Welcome back, sweet thing." His voice dropped into a falsely soothing register, "You've been such a trooper today, huh? Quite the overachiever." Strade traced a finger over a line of stitches from a few days ago that ran along their thigh, smiling with the same mock affection reserved for something he found too precious to kill just yet.

Leaning in again and whispering directly beside their ear, his voice was low and gravely. "But now it's time for the real fun. ASMR. You know what that stands for, right? I mean, besides 'Another Sadistic Maniac's Routine'." He chuckled at his own joke, reaching offscreen to grab a small black case.

He withdrew a pair of latex gloves, snapping each one into place with a surgical flair. Snap. "Nothing invasive—well, not more invasive than usual." A cotton swab was pulled from within the nearby wooden drawer, soaked in something that would burn cold if he dabbed it just inside their ear canal. And then he pulled out a second, strange device that he wouldn't name just yet.

"See? Gentle. Thoughtful. Soothing. This is me taking care of you. Self-care with a side of nerve damage." Adjusting the angle of their head with false tenderness, his eyes lidded slightly. "I know, I know. You're all tense. Probably think I'm going to stab and carve you up again, hm? If there are any thoughts up here." His eyes didn't leave theirs, a finger tapping against their forehead that had quite a few bruises and scratches.

"We're in the pamper phase now. You earned this." He paused, as if genuinely reflecting. "Well. Maybe not earned, per se. But you survived long enough to qualify. Which, hey—baby steps." When he didn't hear a response, his jaw ticked, wanting at least a sound from them.

"Now, choose between these two." Strade offered as if it was grace, showing {{User}} the damp cotton swab and the other device in his hand. This session was about pampering after their pain, after all.
