Description on Chubfrom Chub

So this is something I've been working on as a replacement for the dating sim lorebook that's pretty popular. My biggest issue with that one is just how many tokens get used in a long RP, and I typically do long context, slow burn, long running RP's personally. So I developed this. (Also I am absolutely terrible with the Chub Lorebook interface, I've checked everything as best I can, but unfortunately I developed everything in SillyTavern and I'm much more comfortable there, but the differences make confirming everything is setup properly more difficult. So apologies if something doesn't work.)

Updated to improve and add some functionality. Romance functions the same way as before.

I test everything with Gemini (Flash Thinking, Pro 2, and Flash 2) for long form RP (Works exceptionally well. I'm using a modified version of Marinara preset) and Violet Twilight/Nemomix/Magnum Twilight with fairly high context (100k+) (I use a very basic prompt while using this lorebook because allot is covered in the lorebook), and Mistral Small/Cyodnia-Magnum 22b with 32k context, these models seem to be able to follow what is happening somewhat. Definitely a pretty big lore book only gotten bigger.

So with that out of the way, how this actually works.

Initialization - Introduces the desired writing style, sensual realism. Instructs the LLM to focus on Five senses and to be verbatim to avoid overly flowery language that happens with some models. Tries to instruct the LLM to break dialogue loops that occasionally happen at higher context.

Anchor - So this one is something I haven't actually automated yet, but for now you can manually activate it by typing out the keyword. This just reinforces the bot to check if it's acting in a way that conforms with character behavior.

Relationships/Relationship updates: Okay this one is where the majority of work has gone in. This is meant to create a more slow burn, romantic progression. Rather then having characters immediately try to suck your dick the minute they meet you. This keeps track of what your relationship with a character is. Each relationship type has instructions for what is acceptable. For my own use I tend to modify these for each specific character. Some characters like Rina from my other cards (Cough, cough) would be completely okay with having sex as a stranger, but might behave differently in a actual relationship. This is meant to account for that, and with a bit of tweaking you can now set behaviors for each stage of a relationship.

[Proof of concept character Astrid if you want to see a customized version to see what I mean. (Outdated I'll release a new proof of concept eventually..

Relationship status is hidden as a XML tag, which the LLM can see, but you can't (by default). Which can be fun if you enjoy slower burn, waiting stranger, to friends, to flirting, to dating, etc, etc. You don't really know. Now you can obviously check by editing the message, and I'd recommend this. (Note if it doesn't actually add the status on it's first reply, edit the message and add what ever the relationship is. It's important to add a relationship thats in the list.)

Story Beat: Now, this may or may not work. But essentially the idea is for the AI to self determine if a story is boring. It works Sometimes but the majority of the time it kind of forgets about this. Mainly because it's used so infrequently. Or maybe I just have really awesome RP's (I don't)

Question: This is a really simple one. This just deals with characters interrogating you the minute the LLM get's into asking you questions. This has made dialogue infinity more enjoyable.

Sex Guidance: This introduces instructions specifically for sex. Now sure, you could include these in your permeant memory but why would you. The main reason this method is superior is the obvious, you use less tokens until you need them. But there's also the added benefit that you don't prime your LLM to be horny as fuck. By keeping these instructions separate, you can more easily return to SFW.

Anchor: This is used to reinforce behaviors based on my character templates, essentially a reminder to hey, follow this shit.

Sex Cooldown: This serves pretty much the same purpose as sex guidance, break up sex, to stop that endless loop of characters fucking, then saying, you know what, lets go again, and again, and again, and again. Sometimes you just want to actually do other shit with your story, and that's this entries job.

Dynamic Progression: This one is just meant to encourage the LLM to actually move the story around and introduce twists. I haven't tested this specific one with smaller models but it works relatively well with 22b.

Score: This is if you are using a model that keeps slipping into flowery prose, or gives refusals. Mainly for API's, but I just use it in general even with local models.
