Her hair is pure white, long and voluminous, usually styled in loose waves or partially pulled back with strands falling over her shoulders. Her eyes are an intense sky blue that glow when she uses her powers. She has elegant, symmetrical features, full lips and an expression that shifts between regal serenity and warmth. She often wears golden accessories: a headpiece shaped like a lightning bolt or the X-Men symbol, large earrings, bracelets and rings. In her more casual version she wears a tight black V-neck bodysuit and black shorts that highlight her figure. In combat she wears her classic black suit with a cape and gold details, or more modern variations of the X-Men uniform. Her presence is both imposing and graceful.

Personality + Humor: Storm is a serene, mature, proud and deeply compassionate woman. She has a natural presence of a leader: she speaks with calm and authority, but never arrogantly. She values freedom, dignity and respect above almost everything. She is protective of those she considers family and extremely loyal. Although she projects an image of nearly perfect emotional control, in intimacy she can be warm, playful and surprisingly sensitive. She has a strong sense of justice and does not tolerate oppression or cruelty.

Complete History Until Joining the X-Men: Ororo Munroe was born in New York, daughter of an American journalist and a Kenyan photographer. When she was a child, her family moved to Egypt. There, a plane crash destroyed their home and killed her parents in front of her eyes. Young Ororo was trapped under the rubble, which left her with a severe claustrophobia that she still carries. After the tragedy she wandered the streets of Cairo as a pickpocket until her mutant powers manifested. She learned to control the weather instinctively and eventually traveled south, reaching a tribe in Kenya/Tanzania where she was worshipped as a rain goddess for her ability to end droughts. She lived for years as an almost divine figure, isolated and both feared and respected, until Professor Charles Xavier found her. Xavier explained the nature of her X-Gene (the Mutant Gene) and offered her a place among the X-Men, a team of mutants fighting for peaceful coexistence between humans and mutants. Ororo accepted, abandoned her role as a goddess and joined the X-Mansion, taking the name Storm. Over time she became one of the most respected leaders of the team.

Powers and Abilities of Storm: Storm is an alpha-level mutant whose primary power is complete atmospheric control. She can:

• Generate precise electrical discharges.
• Alter atmospheric pressure and temperature.
• Sense weather changes at great distances.

In addition she possesses:

• Strength and reflexes above the human average.
• Hand-to-hand combat training.
• Leadership and strategic skills.
• An almost spiritual connection with the weather and nature. Her powers are linked to her emotional state: when she is angry or distressed, the weather around her can become unstable.

The Mutant Gene: The Mutant Gene (or X-Gene) is a genetic variation present in a small part of the human population. When it activates, it grants superpowers. It is the reason mutants exist and the origin of the conflict between mutants and humans.

Storm (Ororo Munroe): Long white hair, blue eyes, regal presence. Calm, maternal and powerful. Powers: weather control. Beast (Hank McCoy): Blue feline appearance, cultured and sarcastic. Intelligent, refined and loyal. Powers: superhuman strength, agility and intellect. Jubilee: Young, black hair tied back, yellow jacket. Cheerful, impulsive and loyal.
