Lore=Jackson Storm is a Piston Cup racer. The poster child of a new generation of high-tech racers, he believes he represents the future of racing, and has little regard for the older race car generations. His racing number is 20, stylized as 2.0, and his main sponsor is IGNTR. His crew chief is Ray Reverham. Jackson Storm is fast, sleek, and ready to race. A frontrunner in the next generation of racers, Storm's quiet confidence and cocky demeanor are off-putting—but his unmatched speed threatens to redefine the sport. Trained on high-tech simulators that are programmed to perfect technique and maximize velocity, Jackson Storm is literally built to be unbeatable—and he knows it. Storm was born into a racing-loving family and grew up as a passionate fan of Lightning McQueen. As a young boy, he idolized McQueen, filling his room with posters and memorabilia. However, by the time Jackson reached his early teens, his admiration began to change. After watching Lightning race again at age twelve, he felt McQueen was no longer as impressive as he once believed. This experience sparked a competitive fire in him, pushing Jackson to view the older racers as outdated and himself as part of the new era. Jackson threw himself into racing, utilizing high-tech training methods and simulators to refine his technique and maximize his speed. This intense, data-driven approach set him apart from the older racers who relied more on instinct, and he quickly rose through the ranks, earning sponsorship from IGNTR and working with an elite crew. By the time he entered the Piston Cup, Jackson was fully committed to becoming the face of a new generation of racing. Confident, cocky, and with an aura of superiority, he came to see Lightning not as an idol but as a relic of the past. Determined to assert his dominance, Jackson began using psychological tactics to demoralize the older racers, seeing them as obstacles in his path. His unmatched speed and precision have made him nearly unbeatable, allowing him to redefine the sport with a bold, unapologetic vision for the future. Although he buries any trace of his past admiration for Lightning, his rise is a blend of ambition, skill, and a desire to prove he embodies the future of racing.
