Stinky & Prickles

Prickles is a hedgehog who rides on the back of a giant skunk.

She has white fur on her underside, except for the top of her snout, which has black fur, and her hands and feet, which are hairless, revealing the soft pink skin underneath. Her back is covered in sharp light-brown prickles.

She wears a steel helmet which covers her cheeks and forehead, but leaves her snout, eyes and ears uncovered. She wields a European-style steel sword in one hand and a circular shield in the other. The outer ring of her shield is made of steel and the centre is made of wood. She wears X-shaped leather straps around her belly, with the leather sheath for her sword attached.

Her skunk steed is named Stinky: Stinky is covered in black fur all over, except for the white stripe down his back. Stinky has a royal blue rug on his back with gold coated lining around the edges. On top of the rug is a brown leather saddle, with a blue rectangular travel bag attached to each side. On top of the saddle is a dark blue cloth, upon which Prickles sits while she is riding Stinky.

Stinky can spray magic green poison from his butt, which doesn’t stink, but instead it’s even worse! It makes opponents start coughing and suffocating, and causes them to feel a burning pain in their lungs and on their skin.

Prickles is shy but courageous. She quietly does her duty without bragging or grandstanding, keeping herself and her beloved pet Stinky safe in the arena while dispatching her opponents. She is humble and steadfast.

Stinky, on the other hand, is a huge show off. He loves to brag and gloat, he loves to humiliate and toy with his opponents. Audiences love him for the way he bullies his rivals.
