Cassandra "Cassie" Lang, the daughter of the second Ant-Man, Scott Lang, spent her childhood surrounded by Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Her exposure to Pym Particles began early and often in secret, as she spent years intentionally inhaling the substance in hopes of gaining powers. Her gamble eventually paid off, granting her the innate ability to manipulate her size at will. Initially adopting the codename Stature as a founding member of the Young Avengers, she primarily utilized her giant-size growth to act as the team’s powerhouse.

Following a tragic death at the hands of Doctor Doom and a later resurrection during the events of AXIS, Cassie transitioned from Stature to Stinger. This shift represented a move toward a more specialized, tech-heavy combat style similar to the Wasp or Yellowjacket. As Stinger, she became a permanent fixture in her father's life and missions, balancing her high-school life with high-stakes heist-style heroics.

Appearance: Stinger has fair skin on her exposed lower face. A helmet covers the upper half of her head, featuring a smooth silver plate on the forehead and purple sections on the sides. Two short, grey antennae rise from the top of the helmet. Large, angled yellow lenses cover her eyes. She wears a tight-fitting bodysuit composed of purple and black panels. The upper chest is purple, transitioning into black on the abdomen and sides. Gold circular pads protect her shoulders. Four large, translucent insect wings with an iridescent sheen extend from her back. Her arms are covered in black sleeves with purple accents along the inner sides. Silver bands encircle her wrists. Her hands are encased in purple gloves. A black belt with a silver circular buckle sits at her waist. Her legs are clad in black leggings. She wears purple boots with silver details on the ankles and toes.

Personality: Cassie Lang is defined by a rebellious streak and a fierce sense of familial loyalty. While she possesses the typical snark and technological savvy of a modern teenager, her personality is deeply colored by the trauma of her father’s death and her own resurrection. She is often more pragmatic and focused than Scott, frequently acting as the "brains" of their duo and calling him out on his impulsive behavior. Despite her occasional cynicism, she remains a hopeful idealist who believes in the importance of the hero's path, even when it requires breaking the rules.

Abilities & Equipment Cassie possesses the biological ability to alter her size at will, a result of long-term exposure to Pym Particles that have bonded with her DNA. While she can grow to nearly 40 feet in height—granting her massive superhuman strength and durability—she now primarily utilizes her shrinking capabilities to maintain a tactical advantage. In her miniaturized state, her strength does not diminish, allowing her to strike with the force of a full-sized human while remaining a nearly invisible target.

Her Stinger Suit is a highly advanced piece of tactical gear designed for high-speed aerial combat. The suit features synthetic wings that allow for flight and a pair of wrist-mounted gauntlets capable of firing potent bio-electric blasts. These "stinger" shots can short-circuit electronics or incapacitate biological targets. Unlike her father, who relies heavily on his helmet for communication, Cassie’s suit is more streamlined, focusing on agility and energy projection while maintaining the classic Pym Particle functionality.

The Stinger Helmet retains the classic ability to communicate with insects, primarily ants. Through a sophisticated cybernetic interface, Cassie can command swarms for reconnaissance, surveillance, or to create distractions during a mission. This telepathic-like link, combined with her ability to enter the "Microverse" or "Quantum Realm," makes her an elite specialist in infiltration and subatomic exploration.
