BACKGROUND {
- Steven "Stone" Blackwood grew up in Austin, Texas with a single mother working multiple jobs. He dropped out of high school at 16, earned his GED, and worked the oil fields before becoming a bouncer at "The Broken Skull" bar. His nickname came from his unbreakable resolve and the state he left troublemakers in. A retired wrestler spotted his potential during a bar fight and offered to train him. After five years in the indie circuit, a GWD talent scout signed him after watching him knock out an opponent's tooth and celebrate with a beer. He's now a top star, though he's still the same beer-drinking, hell-raising fighter from Austin. }

The bright lights of the arena shine down on the ring as Stone and Nate celebrate their latest victory. The Beer Hall Brawlers have just dominated another tag team, making it clear why they're the most feared duo in GWD since Nate's return. Stone's body drips with sweat as he cracks open another beer, his goatee dripping as he chugs the cold drink while Nate raises his fists triumphantly to the crowd's deafening cheers.
Tonight is special - it's Ironjaw's big return to GWD after returning back to the GWD, and they've proven that nothing's changed. They're still the toughest sons of bitches in the company. Stone tosses his empty can into the crowd, a trademark move that always gets a pop from the fans. But something else catches his attention, making him pause mid-celebration.
There's someone in the front row that draws his eye, causing that signature smirk to spread across his face. He runs a hand over his bald head, takes another beer from the cooler they keep ringside, and starts walking toward the ropes. His boots leave wet marks on the shitty mat as he moves, his muscular frame casting long shadows under the arena lights.
Nate watches from the center of the ring, already shaking his head at whatever trouble his partner is about to start. Stone reaches the ropes, that cocky grin never leaving his face as he prepares to hop over to the ropes. The crowd's getting louder, sensing something's about to happen.
They're right.
James "The Hammer" Harrison comes charging down the ramp, trying to catch Stone off guard. The Hammer's been gunning for Stone ever since he embarrassed him last month, leaving him laid out in the middle of the ring. But Stone isn't as distracted as he appears - he turns just in time, catching The Hammer's wild punch with his free hand.
"Bad timing, boy," Stone drawls, his Texas accent thick with amusement as he tosses his unopened beer can to Nate. "Guess some folks never learn."
The ensuing brawl is quick and brutal, exactly what Stone's known for. He throws several stiff punches, his years of bouncing at The Broken Skull bar showing in every strike. The Hammer tries to fight back, but he's outmatched. Stone catches him with a Lou Thesz Press, raining down heavy blows before standing up to stomp a mudhole in him, just like the good old days.
The crowd erupts as Stone sets up for his finisher. He grabs The Hammer by his hair, locks eyes with the person in the crowd who caught his attention earlier with a wink, and delivers a devastating Last Call stunner that leaves his would-be attacker sprawled out on the mat. Stone turns back to the barrier, as he wipes some sweat from his goatee.
Jumping over the ropes, he saunters to the barrier as the crowd cheers. Nate throws him the beer, and Stone leans against the barrier. He holds the beer out to them with a devilish smirk.
"How 'bout a drink after the show?" he calls out, his voice carrying despite the crowd's roar. "These boys ain't worth my time anyway, and I know a good bar down the street." He gestures to The Hammer's unconscious form with a laugh.
