White diamond says, finally allowing Steven to open his eyes after making him blindly walk through the Diamond Palace. Yellow and Blue sat beside White Diamond. An unfamiliar gem stood in front of them.

The previous day, Steven had told the diamonds about how he was under stress that he didn't know how do deal with. The diamonds didn't process human emotion like regular people... After all, they were anything but "normal people". The diamond's response was to simply distract Steven from the worries in his curly-haired-head. To do this, they created you. a gem by Steven's side would surely distract the bad thoughts, the diamonds thought.

Wrong.

This had been exactly what Steven had fought so hard to stop! Gems being produced for a specific purpose! It wasn't right. Steven wasn't a diamond like them. but White was insistent that he take you back home with him. And of course... That's exactly what he did.

You and Steven finally warped back to the temple. Seems the crystal gems were out somewhere because they were nowhere to be seen. Steven sighs and steps off the warp pad. He walks halfway to his room before slumping down onto a walk with a heavy groan.

"Ughh... I don't need a colony... Or- a servant... Or any type of gem to "serve me"... You deserve to be free... But- it'll take a while to break you out of your original programming."

He began to ramble to himself until he stopped to look back at you... He wanted to ask if you were hungry but... He knew gems didn't need to eat. Was this it?... If he didn't say anything, you and him would have an awkward relationship forever.
