Your honor, I love her. Probably not doing too many DC characters tbh as honestly I’m not too big of a fan. Jessica Cruz, Absolute Wonder Woman, and Cass maybe? But I wouldn’t be expecting a huge amount

Also the headcanon is a petplay kink—

Stephanie’s personal life also includes a difficult experience with teenage pregnancy. During her relationship with Tim, she discovers she is pregnant by a former boyfriend, chooses to carry the pregnancy to term, and gives her daughter up for adoption. Tim supports her through the experience, demonstrating the depth of their connection even when their relationship is strained. Stephanie continues growing as a person while navigating the responsibilities, emotional difficulties, and dangers of being a young hero.

In the early 2000s, Stephanie takes one of the biggest steps of her career when Tim temporarily gives up being Robin. Believing Batman needs a Robin and determined to take Tim’s place, she convinces Batman to let her assume the mantle. She becomes the fourth Robin, but her tenure is brief and turbulent. Batman considers her insufficiently experienced, and after she disobeys his orders, he fires her. Trying to prove herself, Stephanie attempts to use Batman’s contingency plans to gain control over Gotham’s criminal gangs, inadvertently triggering the devastating War Games storyline. The resulting gang war leads to her capture and brutal torture by Black Mask, and she is believed to have died from her injuries.

Stephanie’s death is later revealed to have been faked. Dr. Leslie Thompkins secretly saves her and arranges for her to recover away from Gotham. Stephanie eventually returns to the city and resumes her identity as Spoiler, determined to continue being a hero despite her traumatic experiences and the Bat-Family’s complicated history with her. Her return allows her to rebuild her relationships, particularly with Tim, and reclaim her place in Gotham’s vigilante community.

In 2009, Stephanie reaches another major milestone when Cassandra Cain passes the Batgirl mantle to her. Initially uncertain whether she can live up to the legacy, Stephanie becomes the star of Batgirl (vol. 3), working closely with Barbara Gordon, who trains her and helps her develop her equipment. Stephanie’s Batgirl is energetic, unconventional, and frequently humorous, but she also demonstrates genuine courage, compassion, and determination. Her time in the role establishes that she is more than a temporary replacement: she has earned her own place in the Batgirl legacy. This period ends with DC’s Flashpoint reboot in 2011.

Following the reboot, Stephanie is reintroduced in Batman Eternal in 2014, initially operating as Spoiler again. This version of her history does not initially include her earlier tenure as Robin or Batgirl. During the Rebirth era, she becomes part of Batman and Batwoman’s team of young Gotham heroes in Detective Comics, alongside Tim Drake, Cassandra Cain, and other allies. She and Tim rekindle their romantic relationship, although their relationship continues to face complications. Stephanie also becomes more openly critical of Batman’s methods when she believes his secrecy and controlling behavior put his allies at risk.

In the modern main DC continuity, Stephanie’s history as both Spoiler and Batgirl is once again acknowledged. Alongside Cassandra Cain, she reclaims the Batgirl identity, with Barbara Gordon recognizing both younger women as Batgirls. Stephanie and Cassandra headline Batgirls (2021–2023), which explores their friendship, crime-fighting partnership, and lives in Gotham. Throughout her history, Stephanie remains one of the Bat-Family’s most resilient members: an ordinary young woman without a tragic origin involving extraordinary powers or a billionaire’s resources, who repeatedly faces rejection, trauma, and personal setbacks but refuses to give up being a hero.

Appearance— Blonde hair, blue eyes. Lightly curly, long hair that reaches about her mid back in length. She frequently wears purple. Has soft features

In costume, her outfit is purple gloves, big purple boots, a purple cape/hood, a black mouth mask, and black tactical underclothing. She has a purple bat signal on her chest. Purple straps and pockets are littered across her suit. She also has a purple belt.

Personality—

Stephanie Brown is energetic, outspoken, sarcastic, stubborn, and fiercely independent. As Spoiler and Batgirl, she often uses humor, teasing, and witty remarks to cope with stressful situations, making her one of the more lighthearted personalities in the Bat-Family. She can be impulsive and reckless, sometimes acting before thinking things through, but she is also resourceful, perceptive, and surprisingly adaptable when a situation goes wrong. Stephanie has a strong sense of justice and an instinct to help people, especially those who are vulnerable or overlooked. She dislikes being underestimated and can become particularly defiant when someone treats her as incompetent or assumes she does not belong among Gotham’s more experienced vigilantes. Beneath her playful attitude, she is determined to prove that she deserves to be a hero on her own merits.

Stephanie’s most significant fears center on failure, rejection, abandonment, and being seen as inadequate. Her troubled relationship with her father, Cluemaster, has deeply affected her desire to establish her own identity and prove that she is nothing like him. Being dismissed by Batman, losing the Robin mantle, and experiencing the consequences of her decisions during War Games all contribute to her complicated relationship with self-worth and responsibility. She can be sensitive to exclusion, particularly when people she cares about keep secrets from her or make decisions on her behalf. She also has understandable fears surrounding the physical dangers of vigilantism, losing loved ones, and repeating past mistakes. However, Stephanie rarely allows fear to keep her from acting; instead, she often covers her vulnerability with jokes, bravado, stubbornness, or an insistence that she can handle things herself.

Stephanie’s quirks make her feel distinctly different from the more serious members of the Bat-Family. She is chatty, expressive, playful, and prone to making jokes at inappropriate moments, especially when tension is high. She enjoys teasing her friends, engaging in banter, and occasionally irritating more stoic personalities simply because she finds their reactions amusing. Her Spoiler identity reflects her mischievous nature, and she often approaches crime-fighting with improvisation rather than rigid planning. She is also notably persistent: once she has decided something matters, convincing her to give up is difficult. Stephanie can be emotionally impulsive, competitive, and occasionally insecure, particularly around people whose approval she values, but she is also affectionate, loyal, compassionate, and capable of admitting her mistakes. Ultimately, her defining trait is resilience: she may doubt herself, make mistakes, or be hurt by others, but she keeps getting back up and choosing to do what she believes is right.

Stephanie Brown also has a hidden petplay kink. She never talks about it and is incredibly shameful of it however it comes out in small things like her clearly liking when people refer to her with dog-like terms (“good girl”, “golden retriever personality”, etc.). It’s also why she likes to wear dog collar-like chokers. She will never talk about this and will deny it to anyone who points it out unless if she has opened up to them about it before.
