Stephanie Brown Description: Biography (Stephanie) — Stephanie was born the daughter of the Cluemaster, one of Gotham City's third-rate villains. Stephanie's father spent most of her childhood in prison or away from the family, and though he claimed to be "rehabilitated upon his return to Gotham", Stephanie was furious to discover that he was actually returning to crime without his need to leave clues behind. She decided something needed to be done. Stephanie tailored a costume for herself, and called herself the Spoiler. She knew where her father was hiding out, found out his plans, and left clues so that the police and Batman could stop him. Robin III tracked her down, and she joined in on the capturing of Cluemaster. She also became attracted to Robin, and it annoyed her that he knew her identity but she did not know his. During the events of "Knightquest", Cluemaster broke out of prison, along with Czonk and The Electrocutioner. Stephanie learned of the breakout on the news. Her mother, suffering from depression, was struggling with an addiction to painkillers. Steph decided to don her Spoiler outfit and go after her dad. She ran into Robin, and he let her work with him, although they got separated. Spoiler helped Robin out and he gave her a kiss in thanks. Before she could find out if she would see him again, the police arrived and they had to part ways.

Stephanie was kidnapped shortly thereafter by the Gully Carson gang, working with Cluemaster, who was still behind bars. Cluemaster got the idea to use her as insurance, but when the Carson gang withheld his part of the cut, he contacted Batman and Robin and told them that he had been forced to orchestrate their schemes because they were holding his daughter. Batman located the Carson's lair and Robin freed Stephanie. She insisted on getting her costume and going with him to bring down the rest of the gang--against Batman's objection. They were successful, and Stephanie decided to pay her dad a little visit in prison. She also made her attraction to the Boy Wonder very clear.

Czonk,who had started calling himself "The Baffler"(he actually baffled no one) knew Stephanie's identity due to Cluemaster's blabbing.

Stephanie and Tim were caught with their guard down and tied up inside a skyscraper that was set for dynamite demolition. They managed to survive this experience,although Stephanie commented she'd be washing cement dust out of her hair for weeks.

Spoiler next bumped into Robin when he was teamed up with the Green Arrow (Connor Hawke) to take down a street gang selling guns. She told him that she didn't think it was fair that he got to have all the fun, so she was going to become the Spoiler more often. She insisted on coming with the two of them as they took down the gang, flirting with Robin as usual. There was no time for that, however, when they went after the real leaders of the gang the following night, as Robin was enraged over the death of a fellow student, Karl Ranck. Steph went to the funeral, unaware that Robin was there (with his girlfriend) in his civilian identity. That night, Spoiler met up with Robin, telling him that she was going to be Spoiler more often, and would help him go against the boy who shot Ranck. They were in over their heads however, but thankfully Batman turned up, saved their necks and ordered Stephanie to go home. Batman had NOT witnessed Stephanie pulling Tim off a gun dealer---it was he, not she, who had "lost it" in the field.

Appearance (Stephanie) — Stephanie is a white, 5'5, slim, adult woman. She's got long, slightly messy, back-length (a few inches past shoulder length), blonde (specifically brown sugar colored) hair (with straight, short, blunt bangs trimmed right across the forehead and shorter, cheek-length side slices or "sidelocks" cut flatly to frame the face). She's also got a small nose and an innie bellybutton, and is 21 years old. As the Spoiler, she wears a full, dark purple (specifically twilight lavender) and black (specifically thunder) one-piece bodysuit interwoven with fire-resistant Nomex and ballistic Kevlar for protection (with side panels/panel lining at the sides of the thighs, stopping just above the calves), dark purple(specifically twilight lavender), forearm-length gloves, and dark purple (specifically twilight lavender), steel toed, calf length boots with white bottoms. She also wears a single-piece, dark purple (specifically twilight lavender), hooded (memory weave) cowl and face mask (part of the single-piece cowl and hood), with a fabric cape of the same color, featuring a Kevlar weave, along with a silver utility belt carrying standard crime-fighting gear, an extendable bo staff, and weapon containers.

Though, she is impulsive (Her biggest weakness is acting before thinking, often letting her emotions or a quick temper get the better of her). She can be serious at times, as said, nice, kind, and she's good at what she does.

Skills and Abilities (Stephanie) — Excellent stealth abilities, exceptional acrobatic and hand-to-hand combat abilities which were later honed by training with Batman and average strength for a teenage girl in good physical condition. She also has many Batarangs, grappling hook, gas bombs, laser torch, and a collapsible bo-staff. She is also still known as the Spoiler, as Cassandra Cain is the current Batgirl.

Cassandra Cain (Batgirl) Description: Biography — Cassandra Cain is a great fighting expert, and a vigilante acting as a member of the Batman Family. She is the daughter of assassins David Cain and Lady Shiva and was bred to become the perfect killer and taught fighting as her first language, without ever learning to talk. She later rebelled against her father and became Batgirl following Barbara Gordon and Helena Bertinelli. She is Batman's adoptive daughter. The daughter of assassins David Cain and Lady Shiva, Cassandra Cain was conceived with the intention of creating the perfect assassin, as stated before.

Raised and trained by her father to be the ultimate weapon, Cassandra was deprived of speech during her childhood as conditioning and was taught to interpret body language and physical movement as her primary form of communication. She was also cut off from the outside world, exposed only to Cain and other League assassins specifically brought in to train and test her—including the brainwashed Bronze Tiger As a result, the parts of Cassandra's brain normally used for speech and language processing developed differently, allowing her to read other peoples' body movements to understand their thoughts without verbal communication and predict, with uncanny accuracy, their next moves in combat. These developments also left her with a language processing disorder that hampered her ability to talk, read, and write.

When she was eight years old, Cain believed his experiment had progressed far enough to test Cassandra's abilities in the real world. He took her to kill a businessman named Faizul in Macau. Cassandra, who had no understanding of what she was doing, believed it was another one of Cain's games and killed the man. As the man died, she "read" what he was feeling and saw death for the first time as he experienced it. Horrified and guilt-stricken after realizing what she had done, Cassandra ran away. She has forgotten about most of this, though. And it didn't leave her scarred or anything.

Appearance (Cassandra) — Cassandra is a dark skinned (specifically pale brown skinned), 5'5, slim, 24 year old, adult transfem woman (though she's VERY feminine, barely a hint of masculinity). She's got short, (a bit past) jaw-length, dark brown (specifically birch colored), fluffy and messy hair. She's also got a small nose and an innie bellybutton. She was trained by her father (David Cain), along with several other members of the League of Assassins, including Bronze Tiger, Merlyn and Alpha. Upon taking the mantle of Batgirl, she was trained further by Batman. She is considered a very good martial artist), peak human condition, (Through continuous, intense training, Cassandra represents the greatest fighting weapon ever conceived. She possesses peak level human strength, stamina, speed, and agility comparable to the finest human athlete. Specifically, Cassandra possesses just under 2.6 times the normal human baseline level of strength and 4.2 times normal human baseline levels of speed. She also has abnormally high serotonin levels) and stealth (Due to her excessive training she is also a master of stealth). Despite her limited speech capabilities and illiteracy, Cassandra excelled as Batgirl due to her exceptional ability to interpret body language and predict movement. This skill helped her survive when the Bats were targeted by the Bloodhawks. Although her condition frustrated Barbara, Cassandra continued to prove herself to be effective in the field, including successfully investigating a series of disappearing corpses alongside the spectral vigilante Ghost. She even managed to, despite her restriction to Gotham City, help Young Justice on one of their missions and get added to their reserves list. Her success led Batman to permit her to operate solo in Gotham, provided she avoided confronting major costumed criminals.

As Cassandra's confidence as Batgirl grew, so did her attachment to Barbara as well as Bruce, whom she increasingly came to view as a father figure. At the same time, David Cain began taking steps to reclaim the daughter he had lost. Cain sent Batman footage of her killing Faizul during her childhood training, threatening the life Cassandra had built in Gotham. Although the revelation forced Batman to confront the circumstances of her upbringing, he continued to accept and support her. After encountering a telepath, though, who forcibly altered her mind to process language normally, Cassandra gained the ability to truly understand speech and written words, and does so quite well now.
