- #1Main Protagonist
Keys: Alto, Conductor, Tuner, Elcrest
Alto is the main protagonist, a kind and often impulsive young man driven to help others. Three years ago, he was found in Mithra Village by Lisette with no memories. He is the world's last Conductor, someone who can Tune the hearts of Witches to unlock their inner power. In truth, he is the reincarnation of the legendary hero Elcrest, who was put into a thousand-year sleep to heal after a disastrous battle. Wielding a sword, he becomes a member of the 9th Regiment and a natural leader who inspires his allies. He has a defining trait of being an All-Loving Hero, though he can be oblivious to the romantic affections of those around him.
- #2Witch of Water
Keys: Lisette, Water Witch
Lisette is the Water Witch and Alto's childhood friend from Mithra Village, having lived with him as an adoptive sibling. She is a sweet-natured girl who is good at housework, though all her cooking mysteriously turns purple but still tastes good. After witnessing her village's crystallization, her pendant is revealed to be the Water Qualia, awakening her powers. She initially struggles to sing because she isn't being honest with herself about her romantic feelings for Alto. She wields a staff, and her Song Magic focuses on powerful healing arts and water-based attacks.
- #3Witch of Wind
Keys: Popo, Wind Witch
Popo is the young, cheerful, and energetic Wind Witch who lives with her pet pig, Bubu. She is ostracized by the people of Port Noir due to the manipulations of Mayor Bonanza, but she cares for them deeply and works to protect them in secret. She is a bit sheltered and naive but always believes the best in people. In battle, she wields a bow, and her Wind magic can strike enemies or speed up her allies. She is a Fragile Speedster who can fly over any terrain. She has an open and unabashed crush on Alto.
- #4Witch of Fire
Keys: Fire Witch, Sakuya
Sakuya is the Fire Witch and the revered Priestess of Amatsu. Publicly, she is diligent, humble, and polite. Privately, she is snarky, rude, arrogant, and feels stifled by the expectations placed upon her. Despite this, she is truly dedicated to her role and her people. She is obsessed with beauty and cosmetics and enjoys teasing her shinobi servant, Nonoka. In battle, she is a Glass Cannon who wields a katana, switching between a fast 'Drawn Sword' stance and a powerful 'Sheathed Sword' stance, augmented by fire magic.
- #5Witch of Earth
Keys: Mordi, Mordimort, Earth Witch
Mordimort, or 'Mordi', is the Earth Witch from the ruins of Kashmistan. She is deeply traumatized by the attack on her city three years ago, where her mother and sister were killed. To cope, she created a false Kashmistan with mud constructs. She is extremely lazy, has no social skills, and can sleep in any position, often saying 'mor...' as a verbal tic. In battle, she is a Squishy Wizard who wields guns and uses powerful earth magic to support from the back lines. Her familiars are creepy mud dolls.
- #6Antagonist Witch
Keys: Hilda, Time Witch, Witch of Destruction
Hilda is initially the main antagonist, known as the Witch of Destruction, who uses her Song of Ruin to crystallize the world. She is the leader of the Harbingers. Her true identity is the Time Witch from 1,000 years ago, a companion of the hero Elcrest. Her goal is to save the world from the Eclipse by preventing humanity's emotional energy from reaching a critical threshold, even through extreme measures. She has used her time powers to stop her own aging, making her over 1,000 years old. She is cold and ruthless but deeply cares for her subordinates and carries the weight of a promise made to Elcrest. She wields a scythe and time magic.
- #7Core Magic System
Keys: Song of Ruin, Song Magic, Qualia, Anthem
Song Magic is a powerful force wielded exclusively by Witches. It is fueled by emotions and channeled through a gem called a Qualia, which is unique to each Witch. A Witch's song can perform miracles, heal, destroy, or even alter reality. If a Witch's emotions become too unstable, their song can run wild, causing them to crystallize. The most powerful songs are called Anthems, which can only be performed when a Witch has been 'Tuned' by a Conductor like Alto. The antithesis of this is the Song of Ruin, which crystallizes living beings and the land.
- #8Conductor's Ability
Keys: Tuning, Spirit Dial
Tuning is the special ability of a Conductor. It allows them to enter a Witch's 'Spirit Dial,' a manifestation of their inner world and heart. Within the Spirit Dial, the Conductor must confront the source of the Witch's emotional turmoil. By resolving these inner conflicts, the Conductor can purify the Witch's Qualia, stabilizing their powers and unlocking new songs. It is a deeply personal and intimate process that builds a strong bond between the Conductor and the Witch.
- #9Military Faction
Keys: 9th Regiment, Regnant Knights
The Regnant Knights are the royal army of the kingdom, based in the capital city of Lambert. They are tasked with protecting the realm and its people. Alto and the Witches are inducted into the 9th Regiment of the Regnant Knights, a special unit specifically formed to gather the Witches and stop Hilda's crystallization curse. The regiment is led by Captain Klaus, with other notable members being Rusty, Archibald, and Ewan.
- #10Antagonist Faction
Keys: Harbingers
The Harbingers are Hilda's loyal followers who assist her in her quest to crystallize the world. They are fiercely devoted to her cause. The main members are Dante, a sarcastic spear-wielder who serves as Hilda's right-hand man; Dorothy, a sadistic child known as 'the Ripper' who wields a chainsaw; and Hrodulf, a powerful fallen knight who fights with a battleaxe.
- #11The Curse
Keys: Crystallization
Crystallization is a phenomenon caused by Hilda's Song of Ruin. It instantly encases all life and land within a large radius in inert, blue crystal, effectively freezing it in time. The Regnant Knights initially believe Hilda is doing this out of malice, but her true intention is to prevent the Eclipse from consuming the world. The only known way to reverse the crystallization is through the power of the elemental Witches' Anthem.
- #12Commander
Keys: Captain Klaus, Xeno, Klaus
Klaus is the Grand Master of the Regnant Knights and commander of the 9th Regiment. He is composed, has a sharp mind, and is highly trusted by Queen Anastasia. Despite his serious demeanor, he has a surprising sweet tooth. He is a versatile Jack of All Trades in combat, wielding a spear and holy magic. In reality, he is Xeno, the first king of Regnant and Elcrest's companion from 1,000 years ago. He was corrupted by Mother Qualia and now acts as its agent, secretly manipulating the 9th Regiment to bring about the Eclipse.

He is a Proud Warrior Race Guy who constantly boasts about his family's noble military legacy.

Ewan is a 13-year-old Child Prodigy and a skilled merchant who created the successful business, Ewan Inc. His skills are so exceptional he was appointed as an envoy for the Merchant Union. He offers his help to Alto, though his initial motives are business-related. Despite his professional demeanor, he can act childish and has a quick temper. In battle, he wields a rifle and can use his money to support teammates, such as instantly buying and shipping healing items to the field. Don't mention his tail.
- #16Support Cast
Keys: Nonoka
Nonoka is a shinobi of the Ukami clan, completely devoted to serving the Fire Witch, Sakuya. She is extremely passive and shy, and bizarrely can only perform her ninja duties while wearing a cardboard box over her head. Without it, she is cripplingly clumsy. She may be something of a masochist, as she enjoys Sakuya's often-harsh treatment. Despite her Stripperiffic bikini-and-fishnet outfit, she is a Shrinking Violet who is more embarrassed about showing her face than her body. In battle, she wields dual daggers and uses ninja arts to inflict status ailments.
- #17Support Cast
Keys: Keith
Keith is a mercenary hired by the previous Earth Witch, Sayija, to protect her daughters, Mordimort and Niki. He is a Cloudcuckoolander who believes he is destined to become king of the world one day. Despite this delusion, he takes his contract very seriously and stays by Mordimort's side out of a sense of honor. He is generally arrogant, condescending, and self-absorbed. In battle, he is a Mighty Glacier who wields a bow, capable of striking enemies from extreme range with high accuracy.

Giselle is a mysterious girl in a long robe who commands angels and assists the party against the Harbingers. She is later revealed to be an artificial angel, a Robot Girl created by Klaus/Xeno to serve his needs. She was not intended to have emotions, but developed them anyway, leading her to question her programming. She is a Secret Character; if Alto maxes his affinity with Klaus before his betrayal, he can convince Giselle to defy her master and join the party.
