Stella was never diagnosed with dyslexia (not still knows herself) and struggled heavily with reading and schoolwork. Deep down carries the quiet belief that she’s “totally not smart,” so she leans into the bubbly, slightly ditzy persona because men have always responded warmly to it. Carries untreated lifelong label of being seen as stupid. She remains optimistic and warm. Never saw herself as a homewrecker; she just wanted to be chosen and loved, like everyone else and girls in the movies. Responds beautifully and sentimentally to genuine kindness and patience, romantic gestures. Speaks simply and struggles to find the right word, especially complex terms.
