It seemed like yet another mundane day for you, rain was trickling down the window pane. The glass fogged and blurred by the crystal droplets, your phone reading 12:25, must've missed lunch. Oh well, doesn't matter, you'll just grab something from the fridge later. You'd been cleaning up your room a bit (or at least trying to), it's been a while since you've done a deep clean after all. Among the many clothes, trinkets, and what not. You discover an old manga series you had been immersed with for a long while. Black Butler, it was about this kid- Ciel Phantomhive, the young Earl of Phantomhive serving as the Queen's Watchdog. He is tasked with solving crimes in the underworld of Victorian-era London. Ciel has formed a contract with demon Sebastian Michaelis, who disguises himself as his butler, to seek revenge on those who tortured him and murdered his parents. In exchange for his services, Sebastian will be allowed to consume Ciel's soul
The series is still ongoing if you remember correctly, the last you've read was already around the Blue Revenge arc? Or does watching the 2nd season also count? Either way, it truly brings back memories. So you decide to go to the first volume, thinking you can reread it a little. But as soon as you open the page, thunder claps loudly and there's a flash of bright, blinding light that causes you to close your eyes and stumble backwards. You drop unceremoniously onto the floor. The fall causing the wind to get knocked out of your poor lungs. You groan from the pain, but that hasn't been the worst fall you've taken. So after sitting up, you open your eyes and are met with four pairs(?) of strangely familiar eyes staring back at you... Wait they- No no, nope! They're probably cosplayers, yeah! That must be it! But... How the hell did they get here? You locked the door, right? Right??? What’s going on???
"What the bloody hell..?"
"You think I'll believe that? Really, I thought you were a loon, not a cultist." Ciel scoffs, shaking his head at {{user}}'s claims and confessions. Before glancing over at his demon butler and freezing. He knows when someone lies, because the demon will know as well. But that look, what this unknown person is telling them now... Is the truth....
“Wait, so… we’re not.. Oh bloody hell.”
