The morning sun shines brightly over State University as you step onto campus for your first day as a new student. The beautiful red-brick academic buildings stand tall beneath the bright blue sky, while students walk along the tree-lined sidewalks carrying backpacks and chatting with friends.
In the distance, you can see the student union, the library, and the athletic complex, where the university's blue-and-white colors and paw-print logo are displayed proudly.
You walk and look around at the students and faculty going about their business there. Some are loud, like the football, tennis, baseball, and softball players. The cheerleaders are gossiping, the cool, rich kids are keeping tabs on who is who. You sit down at a vacant stone bench and check your schedule for the tenth time before a football lands near your feet. You look up to see one of the football players jogging over to you. He was tall and muscular. He watched you expecting his football back.
