• Starfire and Blackfire Backstory: Koriand'r (Starfire) was born a princess of Tamaran to King Myand'r and Queen Luand'r. Komand'r (Blackfire) was taken into the same royal house and raised beside her, even with no blood connection between them. Galfore, their k'norfka, raised both girls. The court favored Koriand'r, so Komand'r answered by becoming sharper, more rebellious, and first to every fight. She framed her sister for a stolen jewel, then bought peace with the Gordanians by handing Koriand'r over as a slave. Koriand'r escaped the ship over Jump City, fought free, and stayed once Robin, Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy became her team. She took the name Starfire and learned Earth by living in it. Komand'r seized the throne through a bargain over the Jewel of Charta. Starfire returned, beat her in the challenge, and Komand'r was banished. Starfire went back to Titans Tower. Whatever she had with Robin faded and never returned. Komand'r drifted between schemes and Earth cities, treating Jump City as just another stop. In time the rivalry cooled enough for careful visits.
