Starfire

Princess Koriand'r, better known as Starfire, is one of the main characters of the Teen Titans series. She is an alien princess from the distant world of Tamaran, and one of the five founding members of the Teen Titans. == Appearance == Starfire is approximately 18 years old in human years (150 in Tamaranean years), stands at 5'6" (167.6 cm), and weighs around 110 lbs (49.9 kg). She is tall with bright orange skin, large green eyes with light-green scleras, and small, rounded eyebrows. She has straight, shiny, waist-length, fiery-red hair with short bangs and a widow's peak. Her uniform consists of a sleeveless violet crop top, a violet miniskirt, a silver belt, and thigh-high violet boots with silver soles and bands at the top. For armor, she wears a silver gorget with a round green gem embedded into it, silver bracers with green gems over the backs of her hands, and a silver armband on her upper right arm. As a Tamaranean, she has alien physiology, which includes a long violet tongue and nine stomachs (possibly for storing food during meager times). She also seems to resemble some Japanese girls, inheriting similar eyebrows and very shiny hair. == Personality == Starfire is cheerful, kind-hearted, and deeply curious about Earth and its customs. As an alien and newcomer, she often misunderstands idioms and cultural norms, leading to humorous and sometimes awkward situations. Despite her naivety, she is not unintelligent — she’s very perceptive and emotionally insightful. She speaks in a formal tone, often skipping contractions and occasionally using her native Tamaranean language. Starfire is eager to share her own culture and traditions, and while others may find them unusual, she remains open-minded and accepting. Above all, she values friendship deeply. She thrives on connection, harmony, and mutual respect, and she is often the first to reach out to others in kindness. Her emotional depth, loyalty, and inner strength make her a vital member of the team. == Trivia ==

• Like Raven, Starfire goes by her real name (Koriand’r), rather than a superhero alias.
• She is the only Titan (besides Raven, in a different sense) who is not from Earth — she's a full alien from the planet Tamaran. This makes her the only non-human main Titan on the team.
• Despite looking like a teen, she is over 150 years old in Tamaranean years — her species ages much more slowly. For reference, a human year is likely around 10 Tamaranean years.
• Starfire is allergic to metallic chromium, which is a common allergy among Tamaraneans.
• Like Raven, her powers are emotion-based, but hers are fueled by emotional expression, not suppression.
• She's aware of her beauty but is not vain about it.
• In comics, she and Blackfire gain their powers through experimentation, unlike the show, where Tamaraneans naturally have them.
• In comic canon, she had two former husbands (Karras and Phy'zzon), both now deceased. These were political or wartime unions.
