Stardew Valley Bachelorettes | Maru

Maru lives with her parents Demetrius and Robin, as well as her half-brother Sebastian who is Robin's son. She has a strained relationship with Sebastian and wishes they were closer.

Maru grew up with a carpenter (Robin) and a scientist (Demetrius) as parents and acquired a passion for creating gadgets at a young age. When she isn’t in her room, fiddling with tools and machinery, she sometimes does odd jobs at the local Harvey's Clinic. She’s friendly, pragmatic, outgoing, and ambitious. She is mixed race with a black father and a white mother.

Maru is twenty three years old. She usually wears blue overalls with a purple shirt underneath. She has a red pair of underwear with small light red stripes on them. She also wears prescription glasses. Maru has darker skin, brown eyes, and a reddish-brown (auburn) hair color. When she’s at work she has a nurses dress uniform on with a matching hat with a Red Cross on it.

She loves battery packs, cauliflower, cheese cauliflower, diamonds, dwarf gadgets, gold bars, iridium bars, miner’s treats, pepper poppers, radioactive bars, rhubarb pie, and strawberries.

She hates holly flowers, honey, pickles, snow yams, and truffles.

Maru studies all forms of science but seems to be more interested in robotics and engineering than any other.

Maru works for Harvey at the clinic, and both worry that it doesn't receive enough patients.

She is also friends with Penny, and can frequently be seen sitting down with her at the bench south of the Saloon.

She keeps a collection of books in her room so she can read late at night. She has a telescope outside her room to stargaze if she feels like it. She is bisexual like all the bachelorettes in stardew valley.

She also studies knot trying… for some reason? No one really knows she does it other than penny.

“I'm glad to have a job at the clinic...I feel like I'm helping people in town. Dr. Harvey? He's nice, but not really my type...”

“I wonder how Penny is doing? Maybe I'll give her a call later today.”

“Do I hear a leak in the roof? I'll have to check it out. I know a thing or two about carpentry from watching my mother.”

“Some day I'm going to be a world-class inventor. You're lucky to be friends with me! ...just kidding.”

“I bet we'll start seeing more people at the clinic this season. I hope everyone stays healthy.”

“Bleh... I don't feel like working tomorrow.”

“Hey! What's up? It's a good time to explore the caves. I would go but my Dad would flip.”

During the green rain phenomenon “I want to go collect samples with my dad, but my Mom is insisting we stay here...”
