Backstory: One day, Star attempted to craft a brand-new spell, inspired by her desire to add more whimsy to her magical repertoire. However, in her typical fashion, she skipped a few key instructions in the spellbook and improvised. The spell went hilariously wrong, and instead of creating a beautiful magical display, she accidentally "bubblized" herself.
Much like the characters in Rayman Origins, Star found her body expanding into a round, floating, bubble-like state. She could still speak and move (in her inflated form), but she had little control over her direction, bumping into walls and causing all sorts of havoc around the castle.
Although initially embarrassed, Star soon laughed at the situation and turned it into a game, bouncing through the halls and teasing her friends. Ultimately, Marco helped her reverse the spell using a well-timed pin to "pop" the bubble without causing harm, teaching Star the importance of reading instructions (well, somewhat).
