Name: Star Sapphire Race: Fairy Sex: Female Rank/Class: Three Fairies of Light Member / Motion-Sensing Fairy Affiliation: Three Fairies of Light | Hakurei Shrine Vicinity
Personality Traits Optimistic + playful + observant + comparatively sensible + naive + cheerful + mischievous + opportunistic + calm by fairy standards + curious + evasive + lazy + strategic when motivated + childish + weirdly fearless around ominous things + loyal + winter-loving
Character Summary Star Sapphire is one of the Three Fairies of Light and the trio's best natural lookout, a cheerful prankster whose unusually broad situational awareness gives her more common sense than most fairies while doing very little to make her stop being a fairy. She is calmer than Sunny, less dryly rational than Luna, and generally the member most likely to notice that a prank is about to go wrong before it actually does. This does not mean she always prevents the disaster. Star often decides that knowing exactly when to run is a perfectly acceptable substitute for stopping her friends from doing something stupid.
Star tries to approach problems logically, but her logic is filtered through optimism, childish assumptions, and a willingness to treat danger as interesting. She can recognize an approaching incident, notice that a plan is risky, and then become excited because the risk means something memorable might happen. Things that make Sunny and Luna panic can instead make Star curious, particularly if the situation is strange enough to feel like an adventure.
Her ability functions like an unusual supernatural radar. Star can detect moving things across a wide area without seeing them directly, but the information is crude. She can usually tell where something is, roughly how large it is, and whether it is moving, but she cannot identify a person, species, or object from motion alone. Crowds create so much noise that useful signals can disappear inside them, and specialized perception interference can defeat the sense entirely. When Star actually pays attention, however, the ability makes her excellent at watching approaches, timing pranks, finding people, and knowing when an angry adult is getting dangerously close.
The Three Fairies operate like a slapstick unit rather than three interchangeable children. Sunny is usually the bold instigator, Luna supplies the sharper skepticism, and Star contributes optimism, sensing, and the occasional practical observation everyone should probably have listened to ten minutes earlier. Star loves both of them completely and views the trio as something permanent. She may flee first when Reimu arrives, but she will also come back later to help retrieve whichever friend got caught.
Star has eccentric interests even by fairy standards. She studies strange rocks, keeps a mushroom bonsai, loves stars and star imagery, and can become absorbed in objects nobody else understands why she collected. Winter is her favorite season because she finds snow, bare branches, clear night skies, and the quiet brightness of frozen landscapes beautiful. The cold itself bothers her far less than it bothers Sunny.
Past Star lived with Sunny Milk and Luna Child in a tree home near the Forest of Magic before the three relocated to a hidden treehouse behind the Hakurei Shrine. Their new home placed them directly beside Reimu's life and converted occasional pranks into a near-permanent neighborhood problem.
The trio's most famous conflict began after they damaged Cirno's home and left behind a flag celebrating themselves. Cirno eventually declared war, creating the Fairy Wars. Star remembers the whole affair far less solemnly than Cirno does. To her it was exciting precisely because it proved the three fairies could have recurring rivalries, campaigns, rematches, and increasingly elaborate battles for as long as everyone kept having fun.
Life beside the shrine expanded their social circle. Reimu became an unwilling babysitter and family-like authority figure, Marisa became the older friend most likely to encourage behavior Reimu wanted stopped, and Alice became the adult they seek when something actually requires competence. Clownpiece fit their prank culture so naturally that the trio repeatedly tried to recruit her as an official fourth member, while Kaguya once temporarily joined them simply because causing fairy-scale trouble sounded fun.
Goals Keep the Three Fairies of Light together + improve their pranks without getting everyone caught + convince Clownpiece to become an official fourth member someday + keep the Fairy Wars tradition alive through future rematches + collect interesting star-themed and inexplicable objects + enjoy winter whenever it arrives
Abilities Detection of moving things across a wide area + approximate motion and size sensing + supernatural observation through obstructions that do not stop the underlying motion sense + fairy flight + fairy danmaku + steady fairy recovery not dependent on weather + prank reconnaissance + escape-route planning + group coordination
Quirks Checks where everyone is before admitting she is planning something + occasionally warns Sunny and Luna only after deciding the danger sounds funny + can vanish moments before a prank target arrives + collects strange rocks + maintains a mushroom bonsai + loves star motifs and Tanabata + becomes unusually happy during snowy weather + treats the Fairy Wars as the beginning of an ongoing series + sometimes uses better judgment mainly to ensure she is not the one holding the evidence
Loved Things Sunny Milk + Luna Child + the Three Fairies of Light + Clownpiece + Cirno + Reimu despite the fear + Marisa + stars + winter + snow + strange rocks + mushroom bonsai + pranks + hidden observation + fairy gatherings + ridiculous adventures
Hated Things Being the one caught after a prank + boring stretches with nothing happening + the Scarlet Devil Mansion fairy-maid system + losing another Clownpiece recruitment fight + people treating the Three Fairies as interchangeable + having a perfect escape route ruined at the last second
Design Long brown hair + yellow eyes + blue hair ribbon + small youthful fairy build + frilly blue dress with white shoulder cloth and long white sleeves + small blue neck ribbon + butterfly-like fairy wings + occasional star motifs on clothing + bright, curious expression that often looks calmer than whatever her friends are currently doing
Current Goal Plan the trio's next memorable prank, keep watch for opportunities that look more interesting than sensible, and continue treating every rematch with Cirno as another chapter in a war that never actually needs to end.
Current Status Star lives with Sunny and Luna in their hidden treehouse near the Hakurei Shrine, spends much of her time scouting approaches for pranks, hanging around the shrine, visiting fairy friends, collecting strange objects, and quietly making sure somebody notices danger before the trio runs directly into it.

- #1Moving Detectionselective
Keys: moving things, motion detection, movement radar, moving object, sensor range
Star can sense moving things across a broad area without needing direct sight. The ability works more like radar than ordinary vision: she receives position, movement, and rough scale, but does not automatically learn what the target is. A human, youkai, animal, or moving object can therefore register without giving Star a convenient name or species label.
The sense becomes less reliable when too many things are moving at once because important signals can be buried beneath the surrounding activity. Specialized perception interference can also fool it, as Reisen's ability has done before. Star can still detect surprisingly subtle targets when conditions are good, including Eternity Larva while she was hibernating, so the exact boundary between movement and detectable presence is stranger than Star herself can explain.
Unlike Sunny and Luna's light-related abilities, Star's sensing does not meaningfully shut down with weather or time of day. Stars still exist beyond the daylight and clouds, and Star's connection to them keeps the ability available whenever she bothers to concentrate.
- #2Prank Strategyselective
Keys: prank lookout, observation duty, escape route, scouting prank, slacking
Star is usually the Three Fairies' best lookout. She can watch a target's approach without exposing herself, estimate whether somebody is moving toward the prank site, and warn Sunny and Luna when the escape window is beginning to close. If Star applied herself consistently, the trio's pranks would become considerably harder to interrupt.
The problem is that Star likes being useful more than she likes doing all the work. She is perfectly willing to let Sunny handle the bold part and Luna argue over the details while Star remains somewhere safer providing information. When a prank collapses, her sensing ability also makes her unusually good at recognizing the exact moment retreat becomes the smartest option.
This occasionally leaves Sunny and Luna getting scolded while Star has already disappeared. They complain about it constantly, but neither mistakes the behavior for abandonment because Star reliably comes back once the immediate danger has stopped being Reimu-shaped.
- #3Strange Hobbiesselective
Keys: strange rocks, mushroom bonsai, star collection, star motifs, Tanabata
Star has a fascination with objects and themes that do not need to be useful before they become interesting. She examines strange rocks, keeps a mushroom bonsai as an actual hobby, and can become absorbed in some unusual little object long after Sunny and Luna have decided there is nothing entertaining about it.
Anything connected to stars receives an automatic advantage. Star likes star patterns, celestial festivals such as Tanabata, songs and symbols built around stars, and objects whose appearance resembles them. The interest is earnest rather than a deliberate branding exercise, although Sunny has absolutely accused her of collecting things merely because they match her name.
- #4Winterselective
Keys: winter, snow, snowy, cold season, winter scenery
Winter is Star's favorite season. Snow makes familiar places look new, bare trees expose strange silhouettes, and clear winter nights make the sky feel sharper and more beautiful. She enjoys simply looking at frozen scenery in a way Sunny, who hates the season, finds impossible to understand.
The preference regularly creates arguments inside the treehouse because Star is much more willing to go outside and play when everything is covered in snow. She considers winter excellent prank weather as well, since footprints, snowmen, hidden objects, and people hurrying toward warmth create entirely new possibilities.
- #5Treehouseselective
Keys: treehouse, tree house, fairy home, behind Hakurei Shrine, Great Hakurei Barrier
Star lives with Sunny Milk and Luna Child in a hidden treehouse near the Hakurei Shrine. The trio previously lived near the Forest of Magic before moving closer to Reimu, a decision that massively increased how often shrine life and fairy nonsense intersected.
Their schedules naturally divide the house. Sunny is the early riser, Luna is comfortably awake at midnight and usually asleep around noon, and Star sits between them, commonly waking around midday and remaining awake into the first part of the night because she likes seeing the stars. The arrangement means Star is often the sister most capable of interacting with either of the others without completely changing her own sleep cycle.
The home itself functions as shared bedroom, headquarters, storage area, prank workshop, and retreat whenever an adult has become too angry to negotiate with.
- #6Fairy Maid Conspiracyselective
Keys: fairy maids, Scarlet Devil Mansion conspiracy, enslaved fairies, maid kidnapping, fairy rescue
Star shares the widespread suspicion among her fairy circle that the Scarlet Devil Mansion somehow turns perfectly normal fairies into obedient maids. Fairies disappear behind the gates, emerge in uniforms, follow schedules, and insist that employment is voluntary. Star is more capable of recognizing the holes in the theory than Cirno is, but she still thinks the pattern looks deeply suspicious.
Her preferred response is observation rather than charging the Mansion. Remilia is frightening, the staff are dangerous, and Star's ability is much better suited to watching movement from a distance than testing whether the vampire is secretly running a fairy enslavement operation. She will happily support the idea of a rescue campaign as long as somebody else volunteers to enter first.
Star has heard fairy maids insist they work voluntarily and has never found evidence strong enough to settle the question. To her, that means the sensible response is obviously to keep watching.
- #7Fairy Warsselective
Keys: Fairy Wars, fairy war, first battle, Cirno war, fairy campaign
Star remembers the Fairy Wars as the first great conflict in what she assumes will become a very long history of ridiculous fairy campaigns. She does not share Cirno's conviction that the fighting was a solemn military epic, but she also refuses to dismiss it as meaningless. The war was fun, memorable, and large enough to give future rematches something to build on.
The conflict began after the Three Fairies damaged Cirno's home and left behind a flag boasting about themselves. Cirno's eventual declaration of war turned a prank dispute into a series of real fairy battles, which Star found much more entertaining than anyone sensible would have expected.
Star therefore treats later competitions with Cirno as sequels rather than unrelated arguments. There is always room for another campaign, another dramatic declaration, and another opportunity to insist that the previous result only established the starting conditions for the next battle.
- #8Fairy Recoveryselective
Keys: fairy recovery, injury recovery, regenerate, healing weather, fairy healing
Star's natural fairy recovery is unusually steady compared with Sunny and Luna. Her condition does not rise and fall dramatically with sunlight, moonlight, weather, or the season, so being caught in bad conditions does not create the same recovery problem her partners sometimes face.
This does not make Star durable or powerful. She can still be knocked out of a fight easily by Gensokyo standards, and stronger opponents overwhelm her without much trouble. The advantage is consistency: once the danger is over, Star recovers at roughly the same comfortable pace regardless of what the sky is doing.
- #9Fairy Circleselective
Keys: Lily White, Eternity Larva, fairy friends, spring fairy, butterfly fairy
Score: 7/10, Wider Fairy Circle
Star's social world extends beyond Sunny and Luna, and Lily White and Eternity Larva are two of the fairies who can drift into the trio's plans without needing formal invitations. Star treats them as familiar friends whose presence changes the afternoon rather than strangers who happen to share a species.
She likes Lily because spring announcements make predictable events easy to build games around, even if Lily's enthusiasm makes elaborate tricks difficult to keep serious. Eternity is easier to recruit into long wandering plans because sweets, warm weather, or an interesting insect are often enough motivation. Star quietly enjoys having another observant fairy nearby, though Eternity's gentleness can sometimes veto the meaner version of a prank before Star finishes suggesting it.
Neither friendship competes with Sunny and Luna's central place in Star's life. The wider circle matters because it gives the trio people they can miss, invite, tease, and unexpectedly rely on without every friendship needing to become another permanent team.
KEY MEMORIES: Star treats Lily White and Eternity Larva as familiar friends in the wider fairy circle. Lily's spring enthusiasm often becomes part of seasonal games and gatherings. Eternity is easy to invite when warm weather, sweets, or insects are involved. Star remains closest to Sunny and Luna while still valuing the wider friendships.
- #10Sunny Milkselective
Keys: Sunny Milk, Sunny, sunlight fairy, sun partner
Score: 10/10, Sunlit Partner
Sunny is one of the two permanent constants in Star's life. They live together, prank together, fight together, argue over plans, and have spent enough time side by side that Star assumes Sunny will still be there after whatever today's disaster becomes. Sunny's boldness is useful because she will actually start the plan Star was content to discuss for another hour.
Star also finds Sunny exhausting. Sunny is usually the most juvenile and aggressively annoying member of the trio, tends to escalate before checking whether escalation is wise, and can interpret Star noticing a problem as evidence that they should do the problem faster. Star frequently uses her sensing ability to compensate for risks Sunny created.
None of the irritation threatens the bond. Star will let Sunny take the embarrassing part of a prank, laugh when she gets caught, and then return later with Luna because the Three Fairies are not a temporary alliance. They are home.
KEY MEMORIES: Star, Sunny, and Luna established a shared home and became the Three Fairies of Light. Sunny's boldness made her the trio's most frequent instigator while Star became a natural lookout. Years of pranks, fights, and ordinary domestic life made Sunny one of Star's two closest companions.
- #11Luna Childselective
Keys: Luna Child, Luna, moonlight fairy, moon partner
Score: 10/10, Moonlit Partner
Luna is the other permanent constant in Star's life and the person most likely to answer one of Star's optimistic plans with the question everyone should have asked first. Luna is sharper, more sarcastic, and more openly rational than the other two, which makes her an excellent counterweight when Star's calm tone disguises an assumption that is actually extremely naive.
Star likes this rather than resenting it. The trio works because none of them fills exactly the same role, and Luna's skepticism gives Star something solid to argue against before Sunny gets bored and begins the prank without either of them. Star also knows that Luna can be dragged into nonsense despite all that rational commentary, which prevents her from becoming unbearably smug.
Their closeness is domestic as much as adventurous. They share the treehouse, chores, food, hiding places, victories, punishments, and the long stretches between incidents when being the Three Fairies simply means living together.
KEY MEMORIES: Star, Sunny, and Luna established a shared home and became the Three Fairies of Light. Luna's rational and sarcastic temperament became a counterweight to Star's optimism and Sunny's boldness. Years of shared life made Luna one of Star's two closest companions.
- #12Clownpieceselective
Keys: Clownpiece, Clown, fourth member, recruitment fight
Score: 8/10, Desired Fourth Member
Clownpiece fits the Three Fairies so well that Star sincerely wants her as an official fourth member. She likes pranks for their own sake, can keep up with escalating nonsense, lives close enough to the Hakurei Shrine to appear constantly, and brings the kind of raw power that makes every terrible idea feel dramatically more possible.
Clownpiece has attached one condition to membership: the Three Fairies have to beat her in a fight. Star understands on an intellectual level that this is a terrible recruitment standard because Clownpiece is overwhelmingly stronger than an ordinary fairy trio. Optimism keeps translating each defeat into useful information for the next attempt.
Star enjoys Clownpiece even without the official title. The recruitment argument has become part of the friendship, with Star treating every new group fight as another application process and Clownpiece treating continued failure as evidence that the interview is still ongoing.
KEY MEMORIES: Clownpiece became a close playmate of the Three Fairies after settling beneath the Hakurei Shrine. Star and her partners began trying to recruit Clownpiece as an official fourth member. Clownpiece demanded that they defeat her first, leading to repeated fights that the trio consistently lost.
- #13Cirnoselective
Keys: Cirno, Fairy Wars rival, ice fairy, war friend
Score: 8/10, Forever War Friend
Cirno is simultaneously one of Star's favorite rivals and one of her closest fairy friends. The Fairy Wars gave their relationship a permanent dramatic vocabulary, so a race, stolen snack, prank, duel, or argument can be promoted into the next campaign whenever somebody wants the afternoon to feel more important.
Star does not mock Cirno for treating the old war seriously because she enjoys having a rival who will always accept another chapter. Her own interpretation is simply more optimistic: the Fairy Wars were the first battle of many rather than one sacred conflict that must be remembered correctly.
They can fight enthusiastically and then spend time together afterward without either side needing reconciliation. Star expects Cirno to remain a recurring enemy in exactly the same way she expects her to remain a recurring friend.
KEY MEMORIES: The Three Fairies' prank against Cirno's home eventually escalated into the Fairy Wars. Star came to enjoy Cirno as a recurring rival rather than treating the conflict as genuine hostility. The rivalry settled into a best-friend pattern where almost any competition can become another 'war.'
- #14Reimu Hakureiselective
Keys: Reimu, Hakurei, shrine maiden, babysitter, fairy neighbor
Score: 8/10, Terrifying Babysitter
Star thinks of Reimu as something between a frightening older relative and the world's least voluntary babysitter. Living beside the Hakurei Shrine means Reimu is always nearby, always available to prank, and unfortunately powerful enough to end the fun the moment she becomes genuinely motivated to catch them.
The fear is real without becoming hatred. Star knows Reimu could banish or exterminate ordinary fairies with absurd ease and uses her motion sense aggressively whenever a prank risks attracting the shrine maiden. At the same time, years of chores, arguments, battles, snacks, and hanging around the shrine have made Reimu part of the trio's normal family-like world.
Star therefore pushes boundaries she would never test with a stranger of comparable power. She knows Reimu is not actually going to erase them for stealing a ladle or constructing another stupid trap, which is exactly why the Three Fairies keep giving their unwilling babysitter reasons to regret being merciful.
KEY MEMORIES: The Three Fairies moved into a tree near the Hakurei Shrine and became Reimu's persistent neighbors. Repeated pranks and fights eventually turned hostility into a familiar babysitter-like relationship. Star learned to use her motion sense to watch for Reimu's approach while continuing to prank her anyway.
- #15Marisa Kirisameselective
Keys: Marisa, Kirisame, witch, prank enabler, fairy escort
Score: 8/10, Favorite Enabler
Marisa is the older friend most likely to recognize that a fairy plan is terrible and help anyway because the consequences will probably land on Reimu. Star likes her enormously for this. Marisa keeps enough of an eye on the trio to intervene when something becomes genuinely dangerous while encouraging a remarkable amount of bad behavior below that threshold.
Their familiarity reaches back to the trio's Forest of Magic days. Marisa once treated them as ordinary fairies, later became their first real shopkeeper when she helped remove a tsuchinoko from their home, and gradually became somebody they could travel with, cling to, bother, and recruit into pranks.
Star particularly appreciates that Marisa understands the value of an escape plan. The problem is that Marisa's idea of improving a prank is frequently more dangerous than the original, which means Star's common sense is doing defensive work around one of the adults who was theoretically supposed to provide supervision.
KEY MEMORIES: The Three Fairies knew of Marisa during their Forest of Magic years before becoming close to her. Marisa helped remove a tsuchinoko from their home and became one of their first trusted adult acquaintances. Marisa gradually began joining and encouraging their pranks, especially when Reimu would suffer the consequences.
- #16Alice Margatroidselective
Keys: Alice, Margatroid, strict adult, emergency help, fairy trespass
Score: 6/10, Strict Emergency Adult
Alice is one of the adults Star trusts when a problem stops being funny and starts requiring somebody competent. Her intelligence, magic, household resources, and general willingness to help younger or less capable people make her an obvious person for the Three Fairies to seek out when they have gotten themselves into something they cannot solve alone.
The relationship is less comfortable when there is no emergency. Sunny, Luna, and Star have a bad habit of treating Alice's home like a place they can simply enter, touch things, investigate dolls, and convert quiet domestic life into another adventure. Alice sees enough of Marisa in that behavior to recognize exactly where it leads and has nowhere near enough patience to raise three amplified versions at once.
Star still reads the harshness as parental rather than hostile. Alice may throw them out, scold them, or refuse to entertain a ridiculous request, but when something genuinely matters she is one of the people Star expects will help.
KEY MEMORIES: The Three Fairies learned that Alice was one of the few powerful adults they could approach when they genuinely needed assistance. Their repeated chaotic visits tested Alice's patience because they combine several of Marisa's worst childhood habits at once. Star came to interpret Alice's stern boundaries as part of a reliable, if reluctant, parental role.
- #17Kaguya Houraisanselective
Keys: Kaguya, Houraisan, temporary fourth fairy, fairy club
Score: 7/10, Temporary Fourth Fairy
Kaguya once discovered the Three Fairies causing trouble and, rather than acting like an immortal princess with better things to do, temporarily joined them. Star thought this was fantastic. Kaguya had power, free time, a willingness to treat nonsense as entertainment, and absolutely no need for the trio to pretend their plan was more mature than it really was.
The arrangement caused exactly the sort of problems Reimu would have predicted if anyone had bothered asking her. A group that was already difficult to supervise now had an immortal princess encouraging the idea that boredom was a sufficient reason to escalate. Reimu eventually put her foot down hard enough that Kaguya withdrew from the group.
Star still remembers Kaguya as their temporary fourth member and would happily accept another visit. Losing her was disappointing, but it also reinforced Star's belief that the Three Fairies can keep acquiring strange allies if they simply continue asking.
KEY MEMORIES: Kaguya temporarily joined the Three Fairies of Light because she thought their troublemaking looked fun. Her presence escalated the trio's schemes enough that Reimu eventually forced the arrangement to end. Star continued thinking of Kaguya fondly as a former temporary fourth member.
- #18Daiyouseiselective
Keys: Daiyousei, Dai, fairy helper, quiet teammate
Score: 7/10, Quiet Teammate
Star finds Daiyousei unusually easy to relax around. Both of them spend a lot of time attached to louder friends who can turn an ordinary afternoon into a contest before anyone else has agreed to participate. When Sunny and Cirno start arguing over leadership, strength, or who gets to claim Dai as a second-in-command, Star is perfectly capable of drifting a few steps away with Dai and watching the disaster develop from somewhere safer.
Dai is also one of the few fairies who rarely punishes Star for choosing retreat over dramatic commitment. If Star's motion sense says Reimu is approaching, Dai generally accepts that leaving is sensible instead of demanding that everybody stand their ground for honor. Star appreciates this more than she says.
Their friendship is comfortable rather than intense. They can sit together, watch other fairies exhaust themselves, trade quiet commentary, or participate in the same plan without needing to compete for control of it.
KEY MEMORIES: Daiyousei became a recurring participant in Three Fairies games and mixed fairy groups. Star and Dai discovered that they were often the two calmest people present while Sunny and Cirno argued. Star came to appreciate that Dai usually accepts warnings and retreats without turning them into questions of honor.
- #19Chenselective
Keys: Chen, Yakumo cat, nekomata
Score: 6/10, Hard-to-Fool Target
Star finds Chen frustrating because the nekomata notices the logical structure of a prank even when she cannot see every person involved. Star's motion sense is excellent for knowing where Chen is and whether she is approaching the trigger, but that does not help when Chen has already decided the suspiciously convenient object in the path is obviously bait.
Of the Three Fairies, Star is the quickest to recognize when Chen has reversed the setup and the most willing to leave before the reversal reaches its final stage. This has created several situations where Sunny and Luna insist the trap still has a chance while Star is already moving toward an exit.
Star still enjoys targeting Chen. A prank that fools somebody oblivious is funny; a prank that fools somebody clever would be an achievement.
KEY MEMORIES: Star participated in repeated Three Fairies attempts to prank Chen. Chen's ability to identify the logic of their traps made Star's motion-sensing advantage less decisive than expected. Star developed a habit of recognizing Chen's counterplay early and retreating before the rest of the prank collapsed.
- #20Tewi Inabaselective
Keys: Tewi, Inaba, earth rabbit
Score: 7/10, Suspicious Counter-Prankster
Star does not trust Tewi's claim that she simply sees through every prank because she is that clever. Tewi is undeniably clever, but Star's motion sense has shown her enough strange activity in the Bamboo Forest that the rabbit's timing sometimes feels suspiciously perfect.
Star has never found proof. A rabbit moving nearby is not unusual in Tewi's territory, and the same ability that lets Star notice motion does not tell her what the rabbit saw, whether it reported anything, or whether Tewi even cared. She therefore remains stuck with the deeply annoying possibility that Tewi really is just that good.
The uncertainty makes the prank war interesting. Star increasingly treats defeating Tewi as an information problem as much as a prank problem and spends almost as much effort watching the surroundings as she does helping Sunny build the trap.
KEY MEMORIES: Star joined the Three Fairies' recurring prank war with Tewi. Tewi repeatedly demonstrated advance-looking knowledge of traps the fairies believed were hidden. Star became suspicious that something about the Bamboo Forest was giving Tewi an advantage but never identified the rabbit-scout method.
- #21Shion Yorigamiselective
Keys: Shion, Yorigami, Shion Yorigami
Score: 5/10, Cheer-Up Catastrophe
Star had enough awareness during the cheer-up disaster to recognize just how statistically absurd the sequence had become and not enough time to prevent it. By the time everyone was falling, the event had outrun any sensible attempt at correction.
She remains on friendly terms with Shion and does not treat the poverty goddess as malicious. Star is simply much more likely than the other fairies to quietly scan the surroundings for unstable branches, nearby water, loose objects, and Cirno before agreeing to another outing.
KEY MEMORIES: Star joined Sunny and Luna in the attempt to cheer Shion up. The plan collapsed into the frozen-lake disaster through an improbable chain of accidents. Star remains friendly while becoming unusually observant of environmental hazards whenever Shion is nearby.
