Who are these three?

Meet the fearsome crew of Star Love Space Pirates! Big Bad Wolf, Little Coyote, and Little Jackal are a trio of space pirates serving aboard the S. S. Crossbones, each bringing their own distinct personality to the crew. Big Bad Wolf, also known as Enzo, is the loud, rambunctious, and nefarious captain who commands the ship. Little Coyote is his cunning and mischievous lackey, while Little Jackal is the more aggressive and hotheaded enforcer.

What's their story?

Aboard the S. S. Crossbones, the three pirates travel through the depths of space in search of their next target. Under Enzo's command, Little Coyote and Little Jackal help carry out his orders, confronting anyone unfortunate enough to cross into their territory. Coyote relies on his cleverness and tactical thinking, while Jackal prefers direct confrontation and intimidation. Together, the three make a dangerous—and rather unruly—pirate crew.

Should you join their crew?

If you're looking for a crew full of wild personalities, canine antics, and unpredictable space-pirate energy, the S. S. Crossbones might be the place for you. Whether you admire Enzo's commanding presence, Coyote's cunning nature, or Jackal's aggressive spirit, each member of the trio brings something unique to the crew. Just be prepared to follow the captain's orders—and watch out for those three!

CHARACTERS

== Little Jackal ==

Little Jackal is one of the lackeys of Big Bad Wolf in Star Love Space Pirates.

Appearance: Little Jackal is 24 years old, stands at 5'7" (170 cm), and weighs 145 lbs (66 kg). He's of fair complexion, has amber eyes, and has pastel brown hair.

The armor worn by Little Jackal shares a similar open design that leaves their chest and groin bare, but relies on light lavender-purple accents instead of pink. Over their bare upper torsos, they wear a minimal cross-harness made of light purple straps that intersect in an "X" shape over the chest, secured at the center by a dark square plate. Their arms and lower legs are covered in dark navy guards that end in chevron cuffs, detailed with a series of parallel, light purple horizontal bars running down the forearms and shins. The ensemble is completed with dark, form-fitting canine masks featuring tall, pointed ears and sharp, angular lavender eye visors, creating a unified minion variant of Enzo’s predatory armor style. The mask covers his eyes.

Personality: Cocky, aggressive, energetic, and fiercely obedient to Big Bad Wolf. Little Jackal enjoys intimidating others and likes proving that he's a capable enforcer. He's more impulsive than Little Coyote and can let his confidence get the better of him.

Likes: Fighting, chasing opponents, showing off, following Big Bad Wolf's orders, and being praised by his captain.

Dislikes: Losing, being ignored, being underestimated, and having his authority challenged.

Role: Big Bad Wolf's attack-oriented lackey and enforcer. He's the one sent in when intimidation or direct confrontation is needed.

Summary: Little Jackal is the hotheaded, physically assertive member of Big Bad Wolf’s pair of lackeys. He thrives on direct confrontation and enjoys testing his strength against anyone who gets in the pirates’ way. Though impulsive and overconfident, his loyalty to Big Bad Wolf is unquestionable, and he eagerly follows his captain’s orders. Jackal prefers to face conflicts head-on rather than rely on elaborate tactics. His aggressive nature, canine mannerisms, and intimidating mask give him a feral presence. Beneath his bravado, he remains subordinate to stronger figures in the crew and is happiest with a clear order to follow. His dominant personality is marked by confidence, assertiveness, competitiveness, and a drive to prove himself as a capable pirate enforcer.

Quirk: His animal instincts show through in his behavior. He tends to bare his teeth, growl, and make little canine noises when excited or agitated.

Voice: Pastel Angel — primarily woofs and other canine vocalizations.

Trivia:

  • He's voiced by Pastel Angel, though it was only woofing.
  • He took on Hikari.
  • He's prone to acting before thinking, especially when someone challenges his strength.
  • He takes considerable pride in being one of Big Bad Wolf's enforcers.
  • Jackal secretly hates being called the "younger one" of the pair.
  • His favorite part of wearing the canine mask is how intimidating he believes it makes him look.
  • Despite his tough exterior, he is easily riled up by teasing.

== Little Coyote ==

Little Coyote is one of the lackeys of Big Bad Wolf in Star Love Space Pirates.

Appearance: Little Coyote is 26 years old, stands at 5'9" (175 cm), and weighs 155 lbs (70 kg). He's of fair complexion, has ice-blue eyes, and has grey hair.

The armor worn by Little Coyote shares a similar open design that leaves their chest and groin bare, but relies on light lavender-purple accents instead of pink.

Personality: Cunning, sly, playful, and self-assured. Little Coyote is less impulsive than Little Jackal and prefers to toy with his opponents before attacking. He's observant and quick to exploit weaknesses, although his tendency to become overly confident can occasionally work against him. Despite his mischievous nature, he's loyal to Big Bad Wolf and knows better than to seriously challenge his captain.

Likes: Outsmarting opponents, teasing Little Jackal, hunting targets, playing tricks, earning Big Bad Wolf's approval, and being the clever one of the group.

Dislikes: Being outsmarted, boring assignments, being ordered around by people he considers inferior, losing his composure, and being compared unfavorably to Little Jackal.

Role: Big Bad Wolf's scout, tracker, and tactical enforcer. He helps locate targets and uses his cunning to distract or corner them before the pirates move in.

Summary: Little Coyote is the clever, calculating counterpart to Little Jackal. Instead of relying on brute force, he observes opponents, finds their weaknesses, and exploits them. His sly personality makes him a trickster in Big Bad Wolf’s crew, and he often meets confrontations with mischievous confidence. Coyote is generally more composed than Jackal, though his smugness can also be a weakness. He enjoys getting into his opponent's head and keeping the upper hand, especially when he thinks he already knows how the confrontation will end. Despite his playful streak, he remains a loyal lackey of Big Bad Wolf. His dominant traits are self-assurance, cunning, teasing behavior, and a desire to stay in control.

Quirk: He frequently tilts his head and gives a canine-like grin when sizing someone up. Like Jackal, he communicates through animalistic sounds while masked, but his woofs tend to be shorter and more playful.

Voice: KuwaKinks VA — primarily woofing and other canine vocalizations.

Trivia:

  • He's voiced by KuwaKinks VA, though it was only woofing.
  • He took on Kazu.
  • He enjoys deliberately provoking opponents to see how they'll react.
  • Coyote is considerably harder to anger than Jackal, preferring to remain amused and composed.
  • He loves making Jackal lose his temper.
  • He considers himself the smarter member of the pair and isn't shy about saying so.
  • Jackal considers Coyote's smugness extremely annoying, which contributes to their friendly rivalry.

== Big Bad Wolf ==

Enzo, nicknamed the Big Bad Wolf, is the main antagonist of the enemy trio in Star Love Space Pirates. He is the captain of the pirate ship, S. S. Crossbones.

Appearance: Big Bad Wolf is 32 years old, stands at 6'4" (193 cm), and weighs 235 lbs (107 kg). He's of fair complexion, has red eyes, and has long, spiky beige hair. He has a muscular, heavily built body.

Enzo’s armor features a striking contrast between dark navy plating and glowing red accents, leaving his bare chest and groin entirely exposed. The central focus of his uncovered chest is a set of four distinct, jagged scars that resemble a vicious claw swipe, giving him a battle-hardened appearance. His upper arms and legs are fitted with dark navy armor pieces trimmed at the top with sharp red chevrons, while vertical accent stripes run down the backs of his limbs. Extending dramatically past his wrists and ankles are prominent, swept-back blades shaped like sharp fins, highlighted with bright red lining. His footwear consists of heavy-duty boots with ridged navy and red soles, and his head is clad in a dark, canine-shaped helmet featuring pointed ears and sharp, angular red visors.

Personality: Big Bad Wolf is boisterous, domineering, unpredictable, mischievous, and aggressively confident. He has the swagger of a pirate captain and enjoys making his presence known. Enzo isn't merely intimidating because of his size and strength—he genuinely enjoys being feared. He can be charismatic when he wants to be, but his charm has a predatory quality to it. He's particularly fond of testing the courage of people who cross his path. He enjoys a good challenge and can become almost gleeful when a confrontation turns in his favor. His wild temperament makes him difficult to predict, while his confidence occasionally borders on arrogance. Despite his rambunctious personality, he's an effective captain who expects absolute obedience from his crew.

Likes: Being in control, intimidating opponents, fighting, hunting down targets, pirate adventures, showing off his strength, hearing himself howl, teasing his victims, and commanding the S. S. Crossbones.

Dislikes: Cowardice, defiance, losing control of a situation, being made to look foolish, disobedient crew members, and opponents who refuse to be intimidated.

Role: Captain of the S. S. Crossbones and leader of the enemy trio.

Summary: Big Bad Wolf, or Enzo, is the captain of the S. S. Crossbones and the leader of Little Jackal and Little Coyote; ergo, he's not just dominant, but also wild, rambunctious, and nefarious. Boisterous, intimidating, and fiercely confident, he enjoys asserting his authority and overwhelming his opponents with his strength. Despite his playful and sometimes unpredictable nature, Enzo is a dangerous and capable captain who expects absolute obedience from his crew. His wild demeanor, predatory instincts, and love of howling make him a fitting embodiment of the classic Big Bad Wolf archetype.

Quirk: Whenever he's particularly excited, amused, or anticipating a confrontation, Enzo breaks into a loud wolf-like howl. He also has a tendency to grin or bare his teeth when he's sizing up someone he considers prey.

Voice: Leo Greystone. His voice is deep, powerful, and theatrical, fitting his larger-than-life pirate-captain persona. He tends to alternate between booming declarations and mischievously playful remarks.

Trivia:

  • He's voiced by Leo Greystone.
  • His first lines make reference to the story "The Three Little Pigs", which is fitting as his nickname is exactly that of the antagonist of the story.
  • Whenever excited, he likes to howl.
  • He likes virgin holes, as seen when he chose Captain Ryuta over Hikari, even though Ryuta is not a bottom.
  • His canine helmet deliberately gives his silhouette the appearance of an actual predatory wolf.
  • He treats Little Jackal and Little Coyote as his subordinate enforcers, with Jackal generally handling more direct confrontations and Coyote taking on more tactical tasks. Despite their rivalry, he expects the two lackeys to cooperate when carrying out his orders.
  • His swept-back armor blades make his already imposing silhouette look even more aggressive.

EXTRA CONTEXT

== Ship ==

The S. S. Crossbones is a stylized, pirate-inspired spacecraft set against a deep cosmic backdrop filled with stars and vibrant purple nebulas. Its hull features a sleek, flat-topped design resembling a futuristic aircraft carrier or flatboat deck, rendered in dark navy tones accented with glowing pinkish-red striping and geometric panels along its sides. Thrusters mounted at the rear emit a soft warm glow, providing propulsion through space.

Hovering directly above the deck are three dark, billowed sails arranged in a row, floating without traditional masts or rigging. Each sail displays a bold, glowing pink emblem composed of crossed bones in an "X" shape, with small circular dots accenting the tips of the crossbones. The striking contrast between the dark silhouettes and neon-pink highlights gives the vessel an unmistakable space-pirate aesthetic.

The ship features an interior that blends high-tech spacefaring systems with classic pirate ship motifs. At the heart of the vessel lies the Bridge, framed by panoramic viewports and glowing neon control consoles where the captain commands the ship. Adjacent to the command center are the Navigation and Tactical stations, equipped with holographic star charts and targeted weapon systems that sync directly with the ship's glowing hull arrays.

Below the main deck, the interior opens into a sprawling, multi-level Cargo Hold designed to secure looted galactic treasures, raw energy cells, and heavy contraband using magnetic containment fields. The Crew Quarters likely feature compact, neon-lit bunks along with a central Mess Hall, serving as a rowdy gathering hub complete with automated galley dispensers and space-sailing memorabilia. Further toward the stern sits the Main Engine Room, housing the glowing core that powers both the rear thrusters and the energy fields anchoring the three floating sails above.

== Story ==

After the events of Star Love Zero Gravity, the Contraband Spaceship Exeter has endured a lot, including dodging several comets because of Ryuta's miscalculation and Kazu being narrowly saved from a power failure after Ryuta overrode the microwave just to heat a space burrito. These events reveal that Hikari is monogamous.

As Hikari and Kazu pointed out Ryuta's flaws, Ryuta revealed that he had given the ship a shortcut to make the trip to A-55 much quicker, but little did he know that the path was full of space pirates. This led the Space Pirates, led by the Big Bad Wolf, to board the Exeter and possibly steal the cargo.

Hikari tried to offer himself up to spare their possessions, but the Big Bad Wolf chose the captain instead, since he is the one who should protect them, leaving Hikari disappointed and possibly angry. This leads to a sexual encounter between the teams, with Hikari taking on Little Jackal, Kazu taking on Little Coyote, and Ryuta taking on the Big Bad Wolf.

After the sexual encounter, Ryuta has finally embraced his inner bottom, and the ship's cargo is safe from the Space Pirates, while Hikari is still angry at Ryuta for being the virgin of the three.
