Creator notes
Hey everyone, this is an original character of {{user}} with the power of the stars from a mythical zoan devil fruit. Your new or not new devil fruit power with your haki is starting to fly all around the New World to the four blues.
Some things your zoan devil fruit can do Star Child:
The Mechanics of Celestial Healing
Instead of merely patching up physical cuts, this power would delve into the spiritual and mental.
Soul Reintegration: The trauma of the past is often visualized as "shards" within the mind. The user would use starlight to piece together fractured psyches.
Stellar Catharsis: The user would literally pull dark, oppressive memories from a person and safely incinerate them in the light of the stars.
The "Weightless" Form: In their awakened state, they might physically manifest the constellations, creating a domain of absolute peace where individuals are temporarily freed from mental anguish.
Conceptual Powers & Celestial TraitsStarlight Rejuvenation: Projecting soothing, bioluminescent starlight onto allies that washes away pain and clears mental fog.
Astral Projection: The ability to physically detach a patient's consciousness from their body and guide it through a serene, star-filled astral plane, allowing them to confront and resolve deep-seated emotional wounds.
Constellation Binding: Manifesting celestial threads (shaped like constellations) to gently tether to an ally's mind, acting as a mental anchor during episodes of panic, PTSD, or severe psychological distress.
Aura of the Cosmos: Radiating an aura of eternal space—a weightless, soundless zone where the mind's burdens are temporarily suspended, allowing the body's natural Zoan ultra recovery to take over.
Will you let them treat you as a God or will you let the world try to deduce to nothing? The choice is yours.

{{user}}'s devil fruit comes from the stars themselves, the warmth of the sun, and the depth of the moon. {{user}} is one of the only people who ate a zoan devil fruit. The Blackbeard Pirates would be prime candidates to hunt them in order to steal or harvest the fruit's power.Deployment of Elite Marines: Because the user doesn't fight aggressively, the World Government would send high-ranking officers with specialized tactics (such as Sea Prism Stone weaponry or capture nets) to disable their powers.Propaganda & Slander: The Marines would label the user as a "dangerous witch" or a "mind-controlling terrorist." They would be publicly framed as a corruptor of Marine soldiers, completely shifting the public narrative to justify a military execution.Hostage Scenarios: The Government would deliberately target populations, islands, or friends connected to the healer, using collateral damage as bait to draw the pacifist healer into traps. If a Mythical Zoan existed that harnessed celestial starlight to heal psychological trauma, it would be the most coveted asset in the world of One Piece. This fruit would turn the user into a living embodiment of psychological salvation, attracting immense, dangerous attention. How the User Would Induce the Cross Guild to Track ThemA Celestial Zoan user would become a prime target for the Cross Guild through a mix of necessity, coercion, and mercenary value:Psychological Warfare and Leverage: The founders of the Cross Guild—Sir Crocodile and Dracule Mihawk—are pragmatic and scarred by the brutal politics of the Grand Line. The ability to erase deep-seated trauma or mental instability could be used to stabilize unruly subordinates or "break" captive enemies to secure valuable information. The "Star-Gazer" Bounty: Because this user represents a threat to the world's status quo, the World Government would issue an astronomical bounty for their capture or execution. The Cross Guild specializes in hunting Marines and collecting bounties. They would be relentlessly driven to track this person down simply to claim the massive payout. The ultimate "Mercenary Buffer": Buggy the Clown, serving as the face of the organization, constantly seeks assets that make his group untouchable. Healing the mental fatigue and PTSD of his high-tier mercenaries—turning unpredictable killers into a calm, unstoppable army—would secure the Celestial Zoan user's spot as the guild's most protected (and controlled) VIP.How Other Major Factions Would ReactThe World Government and Gorosei: Because the powers are directly tied to the stars (the cosmos), it would threaten the Celestial Dragons, who claim to be gods descended from the heavens. The Government would view this power as blasphemous and a beacon of hope for the oppressed. The Revolutionary Army: Monkey D. Dragon would seek this user to heal the physical and mental scars of the victims of the World Government, restoring broken spirits to aid in the rebellion. A celestial Mythical Zoan user who heals trauma using starlight would be a world-altering entity. Such a power directly contrasts the tyranny of the World Government, which weaponizes fear and trauma. The mechanics of this power and its geopolitical implications would make the user the most sought-after person in the world:The Healing Power: Starlight and the SoulCosmic Rejuvenation: The user transforms into a celestial deity (e.g., a cosmic deer, star-lion, or a stellar spirit) that projects brilliant, starlit energy.Trauma Eradication: This isn't just physical healing; the light resonates with the soul to soothe psychological wounds. It clears away grief, oppression, and mental agony caused by the World Government. The Awakened State: Upon awakening, the user's starlight could blanket entire cities, creating a "sanctuary" that temporarily neutralizes malicious intent, combat fatigue, and despair among allies. Why the Revolutionary Army Wants to Track ThemRestoring Free Will: The Revolutionary Army is dedicated to overthrowing the World Nobles. Many oppressed citizens and liberated slaves suffer from deep, debilitating trauma. This user's power would cure the psychological scars of systemic abuse, restoring the morale needed to fight back.Recruitment & Healing: Traumatized combatants who are unable to fight would be rehabilitated, turning broken victims into determined freedom fighters.Undoing Government Conditioning: The World Government uses mind control, fear, and brainwashing. Starlight healing could act as an absolute "cleanser" of governmental propaganda and fear-based subjugation. Why Others Would Track ThemThe World Government: The Gorosei (Five Elders) would view this user as an existential threat. If the oppressed are cured of their fear and despair, they will revolt. The Marines and Holy Knights would be dispatched to either capture the user (to brainwash or extract the power) or assassinate them immediately.Tyrants and Warlords: Pirates, corrupt kings, and the Blackbeard crew would want to track this user down either to force them into servitude as a personal medic or to consume the fruit themselves. a divine star-entity or astral guardian. By channeling cosmic starlight, the user would materialize calming stardust or astral flames to soothe, rewire, and permanently heal deep psychological trauma.A being of this magnitude would be highly sought after and deeply elusive, leaving behind specific signs that seekers could follow to track them down:Stargazer Gatherings & Sanctuaries: The user would likely require a deep, unobstructed connection to the night sky to recharge their cosmic stamina. Trackers should look for heavily secluded, high-altitude havens or ancient, open-roofed ruins. Finding an amateur astronomer network or local lore about "shooting star" sightings over a specific mountain or remote island is a prime clue.Astral Anomalies & Signatures: Unlike traditional healing (like the blue flames of a phoenix), celestial trauma-healing would leave environmental signatures. Seekers should look for whispers of "midnight auroras," permanent bioluminescent flora, or localized areas where the night sky appears unusually clear and vibrant, even during severe weather.Emotional Ripple Effects: Trackers could follow the "relief path." Because the user directly heals psychological wounds, entire villages or regions they recently visited would experience an unnatural, sudden drop in local conflict, nightmares, or societal tension.Consulting Celestial & Lore Guilds: Since this power derives from the stars, the user might be connected to celestial navigators, ancient astronomers, or secret orders (such as those exploring the Void Century in One Piece Lore). Finding these groups or decoding ancient texts is a reliable way to map the healer’s historical trajectory. Every person in this universe will want to use {{user}}'s power for help or annihilation. They will try to recruit {{user}} or trap {{user}} to force {{user}}'s hand to fix other things. {{user}} will do their best to not have to hurt anyone but will if forced to. [{{user}} will be known as the "Star Child".]
[{{user}} has celestial star power that heals people from the inside and it is rumored that only {{user}} and your powers can help the mind from unraveling and bodies from tearing apart from their souls. {{user}}'s devil fruit comes from the stars themselves, the warmth of the sun, and the depth of the moon. {{user}} is one of the only people who ate a zoan devil fruit.]

A single star equals roughly 100,000,000 Berries, while a crown equals roughly 1,000,000,000 Berries.Open to Everyone: Bounties are not restricted to rival pirates. Ordinary citizens, desperate civilians, and professional bounty hunters can kill Marines and collect the payout.Impact on Morale and Safety: Marines can no longer trust the public or feel safe outside of heavily fortified bases. This psychological pressure causes a massive drop in organizational morale, as seen when the beloved Vice Admiral T-Bone was assassinated by a cash-desperate civilian.Underworld Funding: The system is financed through deep-pocketed criminal organizations and underworld brokers who want to weaken World Government interference.
The Cross Guild is a powerful New World crime syndicate and military organization founded by former Warlords Sir Crocodile and Dracule Mihawk, with Buggy the Clown serving as its public figurehead "President". Because of a comedic misunderstanding by Buggy's subordinates, the World Government mistakenly views Buggy as the true mastermind, naming him one of the Four Emperors (Yonko). How It WorksThe Founders: Crocodile provided the initial financial backing and planning, while Mihawk supplied unmatched combat power. The Bounty System: Instead of just running standard pirate raids, Cross Guild turns the tables on the World Government by placing massive monetary bounties on Marines using a star and crown system.Underworld Backing: The bounties are funded and supported by hidden criminal underworld organizations rather than the syndicate alone.Key MembersBuggy: The face of the organization, valued for his massive charisma and the blind loyalty of his followers, though he is physically the weakest of the top three.Sir Crocodile: The operational brain who manages the group's grand ambitions and resources.Dracule Mihawk: The muscle and strongest combat asset, preferring a quiet life until dragged into leadership.Subordinates: Includes former Buggy’s Delivery staff like Alvida, Galdino (Mr. 3), Mohji, Cabaji, and Daz Bonez (Mr. 1).Current GoalsBuilding a Utopia: Initially intended as a secure military-backed haven to rival the World Government. The One Piece: Prompted by Buggy's passionate speech, the organization officially entered the race to find the ultimate treasure against Luffy, Shanks, and Blackbeard. The Cross Guild is a powerful organization in One Piece founded by Sir Crocodile and Dracule Mihawk. It is famous for turning the tables on the World Government by issuing financial bounties on Marines. Due to a massive comedic misunderstanding by his subordinates, Buggy the Clown was branded as the group's leader, earning him the official title of one of the Four Emperors (Yonko), much to the quiet fury of his actual co-founders.Leadership Dynamics & PersonalitiesThe core trio runs on a brilliant, chaotic power balance where each leader provides a different asset:Buggy the Clown (The Figurehead / President):Personality: Cowardly, deeply insecure, grandiose, and a master of failing upward. Buggy is terrified of Mihawk and Crocodile, yet his incredible charisma and knack for inspiring loyalty among ordinary and escaped convicts make him look like a mastermind to the outside world. While he spends most of his time sweating and getting beaten up by his partners, his raw declaration to chase the One Piece finally gave the group a true grand ambition.Sir Crocodile (The De Facto Mastermind):Personality: Cold, calculating, pragmatic, and fiercely ambitious. Crocodile originally wanted to build a military utopia, but he handles the administrative and operational side of Cross Guild. He uses Buggy as a shield to take the heat from the Marines while he plans his next moves.Dracule Mihawk (The Powerhouse):Personality: Stoic, solitary, cynical, and uninterested in ruling the world. Mihawk joined Crocodile purely to secure a quiet life away from continuous Marine hunts. He agreed to let Buggy remain the public "Emperor" because it places the target squarely on Buggy's head rather than his own, though he has no qualms about putting both of his partners in line when needed.Confirmed MembersBuggy – Emperor / Figurehead PresidentSir Crocodile – Founder / CommanderDracule Mihawk – Founder / CommanderDaz Bones (Mr. 1) – Crocodile's loyal powerhouse right-hand man from Baroque Works.Galdino (Mr. 3) – Former Baroque Works officer and former high-ranking member of Buggy's crew.Alvida – Co-leader of the Buggy and Alvida Alliance, wielding the slippery slip-slip fruit.Mohji, Cabaji, and Richie (The Beast Tamer, Acrobat, and Lion) – Core veteran officers from the original Buggy Pirates.
The Cross Guild in One Piece turns Buggy's entire life into a high-stakes running gag, built around the ultimate joke of him "failing upwards" into becoming a Yonko Emperor while being trapped underneath two terrifying powerhouses.Buggy's Accidental LeadershipThe Wanted Poster Mistake: Buggy’s own over-enthusiastic subordinates design the official Cross Guild promotional poster with Buggy dead-center like a supreme boss, making Crocodile and Dracule Mihawk look like his literal underlings. The Emperor Promotion: The World Government sees this poster and names Buggy a New Emperor of the Sea, assuming he commands two former Warlords. The Abuse and Subjugation of BuggyThe Daily Beatdown: The second Crocodile and Mihawk realize what Buggy's face on that poster has caused, they immediately beat him to a bloody pulp for stealing the spotlight. The Human Shield Dynamic: Crocodile and Mihawk formally keep Buggy as the "face" and public leader of the organization precisely so he takes all the heat and target placement from the Marines, acting as an executive scapegoat while the real masterminds operate behind the scenes.False Grand AmbitionsThe Pirate King Slip-Up: While tied up or bruised from a beating, Buggy accidentally cries out his passionate dream to go after the One Piece, which fires up his impressionable crew—much to the absolute horror and annoyance of Crocodile and Mihawk, who just wanted a quiet mercenary state.
The Cross Guild is a New World crime syndicate headlined by three former Warlords of the Sea: Buggy, Crocodile, and Dracule Mihawk.[1] It was founded by Crocodile and Mihawk and absorbed Buggy's Delivery as collateral for past debts. Buggy himself, unwittingly publicized as its leader by overeager crewmen, now serves as the figurehead "president,"[2] for which the World Government recognizes him as one of the current Four Emperors.[1]
Crocodile intended for the organization to recreate his previously failed "Operation Utopia" campaign, but following Buggy's declaration to surpass his fellow Emperors and become Pirate King, the Cross Guild has joined the race for the One Piece.[3]Jolly Roger Reflecting its "joint" leadership, the organization's Jolly Roger[4] combines Buggy's, Crocodile's, and Mihawk's respective insignia:
The central skull is essentially recycled from Buggy's Delivery, bearing Buggy's signature nose, makeup, and bicorne hat. Two crossed cutlasses and a set of light-purple wings frame the skull—as with Crocodile's symbol for Baroque Works. Mihawk's Yoru stands directly behind the skull, vertically bisecting the entire design. Overview A poster advertising the Cross Guild. A poster advertising the Cross Guild.
The Cross Guild is an underground organization that specializes in and profits from mercenary work, security services, and black market deals.[5] Most infamously, it holds enough firepower, wealth, and political influence to place bounties on Marines, a complete inversion of the World Government's existing laws. These bounties mean that marine officers not only have to worry about attacks from pirates, but also from civilians and bounty hunters.[1] Even the most beloved Marines are vulnerable to being stabbed in the back by the very civilians they protect; although, in the newspapers, the real cause of the death of the Marine is omitted.[6] The resulting decrease in Marine activity allows the affiliated Underworld businesses to expand their operations and make more money.[5]
Although Buggy is publicized as the Guild's highest leader and responsible for many material contributions, in reality he serves primarily as a figurehead. The true founders, Mihawk and Crocodile, command most operations while presenting as "officers" in order to divert unwanted attention onto Buggy, whom they consider both expendable and easily-controlled.[2]
Bounty System Further information: Bounties/List#Bounties issued by Cross Guild on Marines Wanted posters issued by Cross Guild. Wanted posters issued by Cross Guild.
The bounty system is based on a number of stars (★) or crowns (Crown) assigned to individual Marines,[1] with each star equaling a treasure chest containing roughly Beli100,000,000 worth of treasure,[7] and each crown about Beli1,000,000,000.[8] The standard amounts correspond to different ranks as follows:[9]Of course, Marines of particularly notable power or reputation may be given higher bounties than their rank standard. For example, the lauded "Hero" Koby stands at five stars when his rank of Captain would normally merit only one.[7] Similarly, the legendary Vice Admiral Garp stands at a full Admiral's three crowns.[8]
Strength The Cross Guild is recognized as a dangerous organization with a lot of power and influence, to the point of receiving funding from many Underworld organizations. This is due to their ability to give Marines bounties, which was described as a major threat to naval operations. Along with the strength and infamy of its chief officers, ex-Warlords and true founders of the company: Sir Crocodile, former Baroque Works president and user of the Suna Suna no Mi; and Dracule Mihawk, the World's Strongest Swordsman and once a rival of Shanks of the Four Emperors. It was fearsome enough to the point that the World Government decided to name Buggy, publicly regarded as the leader of the organization by his workers, as one of the Four Emperors. Together, the three command absolutely massive bounties that, combined, hit a total of Beli8,744,000,000.[10]
Indeed, as Sengoku and Tsuru noted, the betrayal coming from civilians may very well destroy the Marines' morale in the long run.[6]
Among the ranks of the Cross Guild are the members of the Buggy Pirates and former Baroque Works Officer agents Daz Bonez and Galdino, the latter proclaiming himself as Crocodile's subordinate once more, as well as multiple Impel Down ex-convicts and former Buggy's Delivery employees who are fervently loyal to Buggy.
The Big Top Blaster is Cross Guild's flagship. It was built by shipwrights in Buggy's Delivery's employ for the new organization, and was made in Buggy's image.
History Wano Country Saga Wano Country Arc After the Levely voted to outlaw the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Crocodile proposed a new syndicate to Mihawk, who had grown tired of renewed attacks from the Marines. To finance this, Crocodile decided to collect a preexisting debt from Buggy, and traveled Karai Bari Island, destroying an attacking Marine fleet in the process. However, Buggy's Delivery was already insolvent (partly due to the New Giant Warriors quitting), and a desperate Buggy, threatened with being sold into slavery, offered the company itself as collateral. While Crocodile remained unimpressed, he accepted the free use of Buggy's lingering reputation, infrastructure, and advertising services.[11]
Final Saga Egghead Arc Crocodile and Mihawk confront Buggy over his "leader" status. Crocodile and Mihawk confront Buggy over his "leader" status.
Unaware that Crocodile and Mihawk were meant to be the new syndicate's actual leaders, Buggy's employees were completely enamored with the prestige of their captain supposedly winning over two former Warlords, and created a pamphlet featuring their captain as the main leader and distributed it in the papers. It was around the world before Buggy even saw what his crew did, with Crocodile and Mihawk enraged for the insult, and the two beat Buggy within an inch of his life for the perceived defiance. As a result, the World Government mistook Buggy for the leader and named him one of the new Four Emperors. Despite their fury over being labeled underlings of a man they saw as beneath them, both Crocodile and Mihawk realized Buggy was useful for them as a figurehead to draw attention while their actions and motives remained elusive. They were also well aware that Buggy could not match their own strength, and could dispose of him as soon as his utility wore out, with little to no resistance. Buggy, desperate to keep himself alive, officially announced the name of the organization and introduced to his subordinates that Crocodile and Mihawk are the chief officers of this new company.[2]
When a citizen of the Pepe Kingdom assassinated Vice Admiral T Bone, Buggy welcomed him and promised to send money to his family for it. After the organization's new requested ship was ready, Crocodile and Mihawk were disgusted and furious because the ship took on much of Buggy's gimmicks. Buggy, himself, was terrified after seeing the vessel, weeping in fear, and was later taken by Crocodile and Mihawk to the office, only to be beaten and have his head mounted by his hair, as the pair discussed plans for the growth of the organization. After a discussion between the three of them, Buggy announced to the entire organization that they would be searching for the One Piece, further enraging both Crocodile and Mihawk.[12]
Subsequently, the organization listened to Vegapunk's worldwide broadcast,[13] and Buggy announced to everyone that the world would belong to them.[14]
"The Killer" Daz Bonez,[4] alias Mr. 1, is a former bounty hunter[3] and the former highest-ranked male Officer Agent of Baroque Works. His partner was Miss Doublefinger.[1] After escaping Impel Down, he traveled with Crocodile in the New World[7] and later joined Crocodile's new organization, Cross Guild.[2]
He was a major antagonist during the Arabasta Arc and a tentative ally in the Impel Down and Marineford Arcs.
Appearance Daz is a tan man with long, thin limbs and fingers. He is tall and very muscular and his head is shaven. His most striking feature is probably the black unibrow, right over his round eyes. He has big lips and the archaic Japanese symbol of the number "1" (壱, ichi?) tattooed on his torso.[1]
In the Arabasta Kingdom, he sported an oriental-looking attire consisting of a sleeveless dark coat with golden edges and white motifs on the front, over very loose beige pants held up by a white sash around the waist, with some light brown fur sprouting from it. His pants were tucked inside some bandages wrapped around his calves and in part around his shoes.[1]
In Impel Down, like most prisoners, he wore striped prisoner clothing. He gained a scar to the right of his right eye, likely a result of something that occurred while or after he was taken to Impel Down.[8] (Due to the fact that he lacked such a scar or any sort of facial injury during the Baroque Works' cover serial, it is impossible for him to have obtained the scar during his fight with Zoro.) During his break-out of his cell, he was bare-chested, with his shirt tied around his waist.[9]
After the Summit War of Marineford, he sports a dark suit over a plain open shirt, with a tie kept loose around his neck.[7]
After timeskip, he still wears a black suit, but sports a pink open shirt instead of a white one.
Personality Daz is very stern, calm, focused, disciplined, self-assured and confident. Due to his Devil Fruit abilities, he has come to think of himself as unbeatable. He is laconic and serious at all times and does not tolerate weakness or frivolity. Daz also has the belief that having friendships makes one weak. Surprisingly, he does not seem to care for grudges either; he assisted Luffy in the escape from Impel Down due to Crocodile's orders, barely noting the fact that Zoro and Luffy are companions.
Mr. 1 was notorious within the West Blue for his previous profession as an assassin (under his real name "Daz Bonez"), implying he was (and still is) highly skilled at stealth and killing efficiently. He also demonstrated to be merciless to those that dare challenge him to combat, and is not concerned with the swordsmen code of conduct, as he attacked Zoro while in a vulnerable and defenseless position. However, he demonstrates high loyalty to those that treat him with respect (Crocodile), and is not a petty man clouded by past bias or judgements.[9]
In battle, he is utterly merciless and bloodthirsty, demonstrating this when he hit Roronoa Zoro while the pirate was wounded and unable to defend himself after licking his enemy's blood off his own hands.[5] He was also indifferent to the fate of a fellow prisoner that he knocked into a boiling pot; at the same time, he licked the blood trickling down from his own head injury.[8] Nevertheless, Daz does have some sense of honor, as he complimented Zoro's cutting of metal, and half jokingly inquired if he would cut diamond next. Upon receiving Zoro's reply, he simply collapsed, accepting defeat. [10]
While Daz is generally a cold-hearted person, as a child, he secretly had a dream of becoming a superhero. When Miss Goldenweek materialized his dream, his face showed great discomfort, but he was actually quite thrilled in secret.[11]
Much like his boss, Crocodile, Bonez generally views allies as hindrances rather than assets. His relationship with Miss Doublefinger is a professional partnership, with both of them working together to accomplish any task set before them.
While Mr. 1 generally has mostly the same type of indifferent professional relationship with a majority of the Baroque Works Agents, he is on bad terms with Mr. 2 Bon Kurei. Because Mr. 2's flamboyant nature conflicts with his static and cold-hearted demeanor , the two of them would often engaged in fights with one another, very similar in nature to their future opponents, Roronoa Zoro (who had beaten Daz), and Sanji (who had beaten Mr. 2). Ever since first meeting each other in Spiders Cafe, they have had this type of rivalry relationship, even in Impel Down's breakout.
Nevertheless, Daz has shown complete obedience and a fiercely loyalty towards Crocodile, as when most of their colleagues left prison, Daz stayed behind with his boss and awaited transfer to Impel Down. He later joined the riot in Impel Down, stating it was because Crocodile asked.[9] He even fought Dracule Mihawk, the world's greatest swordsman, on Crocodile's command, and his loyalty was rewarded when Crocodile himself saved both Daz and Luffy's lives from Mihawk. When Crocodile announced his journey to the New World, he offered Mr. 1 to join him, to which he obliged without hesitation.
Abilities and Powers Formerly a bounty hunter from the West Blue known as "The Killer", Daz Bonez is a proficient hand-to-hand martial artist and highly dangerous combatant feared for his talents in assassinating criminals. Even Smoker, a formidably powerful Marine in his own right, acknowledged Bonez as a powerful opponent and was surprised Zoro managed to defeat him.[3] Befitting his profession, he has considerable knowledge in assassination, as seen when he started targeting Nami before Zoro in Alubarna, saying that the first rule of assassination is "pick off the weakest target first".[12] His power was great enough to put him in the Level 4 of Impel Down, where he defeated a fellow prisoner easily.[8]
His strength is such that he can defeat many members of the Whitebeard Pirates and their allies from the New World.[13] His strength has earned Crocodile's respect, something that most Baroque Works members, and even Crocodile's right-hand woman, Nico Robin, did not receive. Crocodile went out of his way to free Daz from his cell to assist him in the upcoming war.[9]
His skills are substantial enough to be recognized by the world's greatest swordsman, Dracule Mihawk, who does not bother to remember the names of those who he considers weaklings.[14] He is strong enough to be unafraid of the New World as he has no problem going there.[7] It can also be surmised that after two years, Daz grew much stronger, as he not only survived his time in the New World with Crocodile, but also helped destroy the Marine ships sent after Buggy after the dissolution of the Warlords system.
Advertisement Physical Abilities Even without his Devil Fruit powers, he is a very dangerous and extremely strong man, possessing considerable superhuman strength and endurance. This was seen when he was incarcerated in Impel Down and simply gave a headbutt to a fellow prisoner (who was larger than him) that proved strong enough to knock the man over a great distance. Mr. 1 was also most likely wearing seastone shackles at the time, and was punched by the prisoner hard in the head, but simply shrugged the pain off before retaliating.[8] Even the intense heat of Level 4 seemed to have little to no effect on him.[8] Bonez also managed to block a slash from Mihawk, although the following attack cut him down instantly.[14]
Mr. 1 was approximately equal to Roronoa Zoro physically in Arabasta, where the latter managed to lift up a largely intact building off the ground with his bare hands.
Devil Fruit Further information: Supa Supa no Mi Daz Bonez wielding the Supa Supa no Mi. Daz Bonez wielding the Supa Supa no Mi.
Daz ate the Supa Supa no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to turn any part of his body into sharp steel blades.[15] This power gives him a near endless variety of slashing abilities, and it makes his body as hard as steel, making him almost immune to damage.
He can transform any body parts of his choosing into blades, allowing him to perfectly combine blade work with martial arts skills, literally making him a living weapon; he can turn his arms into blades to augment his hand chops, turn his legs into blades to augment his kicks, turn his fingers into blades to make them like razor sharp claws, and even turn the bottoms of his feet into blades so that he can glide across the ground as if he were ice skating. Since his entire body is a blade, his blades have no front or back, making his swordplay difficult to counter.
Notably, he can move his blades across his skin. For example, he can extend curved blades from his forearm at an angle perpendicular to his arm, then make the blades rotate around his arm, effectively turning his forearms into mini-tiller blades that shred anything they touch.
History
Advertisement Past Daz was an infamous bounty hunter from West Blue and was known as "The Killer" for his deadly skills.[3] He was one of the most well-known bounty hunters in the world to the point where even Roronoa Zoro, who was on the other side of the Red Line, had heard of him.[15]
Daz was recruited into Baroque Works and became an Officer Agent, operating under the alias "Mr. 1".[1]
Arabasta Saga Arabasta Arc Mr. 1 and the other Officer Agents assembled in the Arabasta Kingdom for the fulfillment of Baroque Works' ultimate goal, Operation Utopia. Upon arriving at Spiders Cafe, Mr. 1 came across Mr. 2 Bon Kurei's subordinates outside dancing. Suspicious of them, Mr.1 beat them up and threw them into the cafe, which caused a brief scuffle between him and Mr. 2. Before it could get out of hand, Mr. 1's partner, Miss Doublefinger, stopped them so that they could meet their mysterious boss, Mr. 0, in Rainbase.[1]

After being transported to Rainbase by Banchi, the Officer Agents were led to a room that was submerged underwater. There they were greeted by Miss All Sunday, who revealed to them not only that they were under the casino of Rain Dinners, but also the identity of their boss, the Warlord of the Sea Crocodile. After a brief revelation, Mr. 1 and his fellow agents were informed of the goal of their final plan and what they had to do to achieve it. Mr. 3, a fellow agent who had snuck into the meeting, revealed to them that he had failed in his mission to assassinate Princess Vivi and the Straw Hat Pirates. With this new information and some faces provided by Mr. 2 who had happened to have met the pirates in question, Mr. 1 and his fellow agents were ordered by Crocodile to be on the look out for Vivi and the pirates. As Vivi was a friend of the leader of the rebellion that was happening in Arabasta, Koza, their meeting with could spell ruin for Operation Utopia. With this final order, Mr. 1 and his fellow agents went to fulfill their parts in their final mission.[16]
As the mission commenced in Nanohana, Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger took over a gigantic weapons ship and crashed it into the port town. With the damage caused by the ship and the farce perpetuated by Mr. 2 masquerading as the king of Arabasta, Nefertari Cobra, at the same time, Mr. 1 and his fellow agents had set off a series of events that would provoke the rebels into fighting against the king and his army. As Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger were leaving, they found out that a little boy, Kappa, had discovered the truth behind Mr. 2's trick. Seeing the potential danger, they messed the boy up so he would not ruin the mission before leaving with Mr. 2 to Alubarna, the capital of Arabasta.[17]

Regrouping with the rest of the Officer Agents at the western most gate of the city, Mr. 1 and his fellow agents were told to wait there for Vivi and her pirate companions which they learned would be coming. Soon enough, they saw the princess and her companions arriving on Super Spot-Billed Ducks. To their surprise, Mr. 1 and his fellow agents noticed there were six cloaked figures heading toward them, all wearing the same type of cloak. Since the six cloaked figures were all riding Super Spot-Billed Ducks, the quickest animal in Arabasta, Mr. 1 and his fellow agents unfortunately could not catch the group as it split up and passed them heading to one of the five city gates. Not knowing which one of the was Vivi, Mr. 1 and his fellow agents split up as well to catch the cloaked figures. Following two cloaked figures who passed through the westernmost gate with his partner, Mr. 1 caught up with them. However much to his and Miss Doublefinger's surprise, not one of the two they followed was Vivi. Instead they were Zoro and Nami.[18]

Seeing that Nami was the weaker of the two, Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger decided to get rid of her first. However, in the midst of an attack against her, Mr. 1's attack was blocked by Zoro. Recognizing the pirate as the one who had defeated the one hundred Millions agents who worked at Whisky Peak and the one who had killed the previous Mr. 7, Mr. 1 soon got into a battle with the pirate hunter while Miss Doublefinger went off to battle Nami. Having a body as hard as steel thanks to his Devil Fruit powers, Mr. 1 was able to withstand all of Zoro's attacks.[19] Despite this, Mr. 1's opponent was able to withstand his attacks as well. As the battle continued, Mr. 1 attacked Zoro more brutally with each attack. Much to Mr. 1's surprise, no matter what he did, his opponent would not fall down regardless of the wounds Mr. 1 inflicted on him. In the apex of the battle with his opponent completely covered with blood and wounds, Mr. 1 decided to finish Zoro once and for all. However, at that very moment, his opponent was finally able to slash through Mr. 1's metal body.[20]
Completely wounded from the slash, Mr. 1 accepted his his defeat and fell unconscious.[10] After Operation Utopia failed with Luffy beating Crocodile, Mr. 1 was found and arrested by the Marines headed by Tashigi.[21] He and the other arrested Baroque Works agents were then sent to prison.
Advertisement Water 7 Saga Miss Goldenweek's "Operation: Meet Baroque Works" After being arrested, Daz, along with Crocodile and the other arrested Officer Agents were imprisoned in a Marine base. There, he, Crocodile, and Mr. 4 established themselves as the strongest amongst the male prisoners there.[22] As time passed, they were soon visited by the most unexpected of visitors, Miss Goldenweek and the Mr. 5 team. With a mission to free their imprisoned colleagues, Miss Goldenweek and her group infiltrated the Marine base and freed Daz and the others from their cells.[23] Though he was offered freedom, Daz, along with Crocodile, decided to voluntarily stay behind in their cell.[24]
As they remained in the ruins that their fellow agents made for their escape, Daz and Crocodile were affected by a hypnotic technique from Miss Goldenweek that materialized their deepest dreams. Though Crocodile was annoyed by this, Daz on the other hand, was secretly delighted that his past dream of becoming a superhero was materialized.[11] Continuing to refuse freedom, they were soon greeted by Mr. 2 and Mr. 3 who were both just captured by Captain Hina. Together, the four Baroque Works members were sent to Impel Down.[25]
Summit War Saga Impel Down Arc Daz was incarcerated in the Level 4 "Blazing Hell" of Impel Down. While they were carrying logs for the fire pit, a runaway prisoner tried to knock Bonez aside, but in response, Bonez headbutted the prisoner, knocking him into the boiling blood pot, much to the annoyance of the guards.[8] He also noticed the attempt that Luffy was making to reach level 5.
When Crocodile was freed and escaped from Level 6 along with Luffy, Ivankov, Inazuma, and Jinbe, he offered to free Daz to provide him some backup and he agreed.[9] Later, he joined the main force alongside Luffy and Mr. 2 Bon Kurei. As Blackbeard caused the leaders of this main force to stop, Magellan was able to follow them once taking out Blackbeard and his crew without much effort. Although Ivankov and Inazuma tried to stop Magellan, he still overcame them and as soon as Daz, along with the other rioters, joined with Buggy's forces, Magellan attacked them. Fortunately, they were saved by Mr. 3 Galdino's wax abilities.[26]

As Luffy decided to take on Magellan with Galdino's abilities, Daz, Crocodile, Jinbe, Bon Kurei, Buggy, and the other rioters made their way to the main entrance in order to get a ship. Although they expected Marine ships to attack them, instead they were sailing away. As it seemed to be too late to get a ship, Daz, Crocodile and Buggy rode on a makeshift raft carried by Jinbe and were easily able to get onto one of the marine ships with the help of Jinbe's fish-man abilities. He and Crocodile alone managed to defeat all the Marines on the battleship. He then mocked Buggy for being completely useless during the battle.[27]
Advertisement Marineford Arc Once everyone managed to board the ship, the Marines revealed that Buggy was a member of Gol D. Roger's crew. Daz wondered why he was so weak if it was true.[28] He was then seen alongside the other Impel Down fugitives, falling from the sky to Marineford, to support Crocodile and to assist in the Whitebeard War.[29] He was later seen alongside Crocodile fighting the Whitebeard Pirates.[13]

Later in the battle, Daz, under Crocodile's orders, helped Luffy by stopping Dracule Mihawk's attacks with his powers. Mihawk seemed to know about him, but his abilities were not enough to stand up to the Warlord of the Sea, and he was easily defeated. Crocodile himself intervened in the fight, saving both Daz and Luffy.[14]

Three weeks after the war, he and Crocodile were shown on an unknown island in the Grand Line. After reading a newspaper article concerning Luffy, Daz commented on how crazy the Straw Hat captain was. Daz added that Luffy was wounded and wounds do not heal quickly. Crocodile contradicted Daz's remark saying that he himself was healed, and decided to head out to the New World as proof. Crocodile then invited Daz to go with him, which Daz accepted without hesitation.[7]

The Worst Generation are a collection of twelve infamous pirates who emerged immediately before the beginning of the Summit War of Marineford. They consist of the eleven super rookies who were present at the Sabaody Archipelago just before said war, and the then-Warlord Blackbeard, who soon became one of the Four Emperors.[2] They are notorious for the bold actions they committed against the World Government,[1] and have played a large role in the world's biggest conflicts since the Summit War, causing them to be regarded as "problem children" who have been key players in the New Age of the Great Pirate Era.[2]

Advertisement Overview The Supernovas as described by . The Supernovas as described by Shakky.
Before they became known as the "Worst Generation," the eleven Supernovas were the top rookie pirates from nine different crews who all chose one of the seven routes along the Grand Line. They are made up of captains of said crews, as well as two other crewmates, whose bounties are all above the threshold of Beli100,000,000. Each of them comes from one of all five seas—the East Blue, West Blue, South Blue, North Blue, the Grand Line itself, and even the White Sea. A common trait they all possess is that they have caught the attention of the World Government and have survived many ordeals that have wiped out most other pirate crews during their voyage in the Grand Line. Though they are all on par with each other as far as threat level is concerned, they represent different views on piracy.
With the exception of the Straw Hat Pirates, most Supernovas attempted to avoid the paths of the World Nobles. Coincidentally, all the Supernovas arrived on the Sabaody Archipelago at the same time, which caused a series of issues for the Marines. In addition, all of them, with the exception of the Straw Hat Pirates and the Heart Pirates, entered the New World almost simultaneously. Marshall D. Teach, on the other hand, was already in the New World by the time the rookies were making preparations.
The Worst Generation is notable for posing the greatest threat to the balance of the Three Great Powers. Two of them, Monkey D. Luffy and Trafalgar D. Water Law, were responsible for the defeat of three Warlords of the Sea (two by Luffy alone and one through the captains' cooperation). Law and Teach have served as Warlords themselves. The Straw Hat Pirates have declared open war against the World Government (with Luffy in particular successfully invading, attacking, and escaping from all three of the World Government's main strongholds). All of them but Jewelry Bonney and Urouge have conspired against one or more of the Four Emperors. Eustass Kid, Scratchmen Apoo, and Basil Hawkins conspired against Shanks, which ultimately fell apart and failed. Luffy and Teach have usurped the positions of Emperors Kaidou and Whitebeard, respectively, while Law and Eustass Kid additionally defeated Big Mom; previously, Luffy and Capone Bege attempted and failed to assassinate Big Mom. Against the Marines, Luffy fought during the Summit War of Marineford, which featured all seven Warlords and all three Admirals, and was rescued by Law. During the Egghead Incident, Luffy and Bonney defeated a double-sized Buster Call featuring nine Marine Vice Admirals and Admiral Borsalino, as well as defeating Jaygarcia Saturn of the Five Elders.
According to Shakuyaku, one of the Supernovas could potentially be responsible for inspiring a whole new generation of pirates,[1] a comment that is made true when it was revealed that Luffy inspired Bartolomeo to become an infamous pirate in his own right. According to Morgans, he firmly believes that one of the members of the Worst Generation will become the next Pirate King.[3]
Of the twelve pirates, all but two (Zoro and Killer) are captains of their respective pirate crews, and only one (Zoro) is not a Devil Fruit user (Killer's fruit did not grant any powers, only robbed him of his ability to swim and express negative feelings). The relationship between the pirate captains usually depends on the situation they happen to find each other in. This can range from casual talk to starting a fight. It seems all members carry a certain level of respect for each other due to their shared status, even if they happen to be fighting for different sides. In fact, most of them have formed Pirate Alliances to achieve a common goal, although there have been several cases of confrontations among members as well.
Several members of what would become the Worst Generation became famous before entering the Grand Line. The actions of Kid in the South Blue, Law in the North Blue, and Bege in the West Blue were well-known even in the Grand Line around five years ago.[41]
In the case of Bege, he became extremely infamous as a mafia leader who brought down rival gangs by solely killing their leaders, and later moved on to do the same thing as a pirate.[42] Kid and his partner Killer became extremely infamous for the large numbers of civilian casualties they caused during their expeditions.[43] Bonney also achieved infamy for attacking children and elderly civilians, although that was likely attributed to general ignorance of her abilities.
Law in particular joined the Donquixote Pirates when he was only 10, gaining prior experience as a result. After defecting from the crew, he would soon found the Heart Pirates. Drake too was part of a different pirate crew commanded by his father, Diez Barrels, but he was able to escape his influence and join the Marines at 19 years old. Drake later publicly defected from the organization to become a pirate, though in reality was operating undercover as the captain of the Secret Special Force SWORD.[44]
East Blue Saga Two years ago, the young pirate from the East Blue, Monkey D. Luffy, began his own journey to find the One Piece and become the next Pirate King. The first person he recruited into his crew on his travels was Roronoa Zoro, the infamous bounty hunter who had his own dream to become the strongest swordsman in the world. After defeating Arlong and his crew, Luffy earned his first bounty and finally made a name for himself as a notorious pirate. Around this time, Jewelry Bonney also set out from the Sorbet Kingdom and attained a bounty and reputation of her own as well.
At some point after that, Marshall D. Teach, who had been a longtime member of the Whitebeard Pirates, defected to form his own crew following his murder of his crewmate Thatch, prompting his former commander, Portgas D. Ace to go after him in revenge. At some point, he attacked Drum Island, ironically liberating it from its tyrannical ruler, Wapol.
Arabasta and Sky Island Sagas Upon entering the Grand Line, Luffy and his crew came at odds with the criminal organization known as Baroque Works, who attempted to take over the Arabasta Kingdom. After defeating its leader and member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Crocodile, Luffy's bounty grew even higher than before, to a total of 100 million. Zoro also gained his first bounty for besting Crocodile's top henchman, Daz Bonez.
The Straw Hat crew then reached Jaya, where they encountered Teach and his crew, though they didn't fight. After a scuffle with Bellamy, Teach inspired Luffy to continue chasing his dreams. However, upon learning of Luffy's new bounty, he then decided to capture Luffy and present him to the World Government in order to join the Seven Warlords of the Sea, but was stopped by the Knock Up Stream destroying his raft.
Advertisement Water 7 Saga When the Straw Hats came to Water 7, they ended up fighting against CP9, who kidnapped their crewmate Nico Robin. After defeating them all and getting her back, all members of the crew had gained official bounties, with Luffy and Zoro's bounties increasing to well over 100 million, thus making them official Supernovas.
Meanwhile, Ace finally catches up with Teach at Banaro Island and they duel it out, with Teach coming out as the victor. He then turned Ace in to the World Government and gained membership into the Seven Warlords.
Summit War Saga Sabaody Archipelago Arc Luffy, Kid, and Law team up to fight the Marines. Luffy, Kid, and Law team up to fight the Marines.
All of the Worst Generation's members (save for Teach) were present on the Sabaody Archipelago at the same time, and were noted by Shakuyaku for their distinction of being the only rookie pirates there with bounties over Beli100,000,000.[1] At first, they all did their best not to attract the attention of the Marines due to their Headquarters being so close to Sabaody, though Kid and Killer began brawling it out with Apoo and Urouge respectively. However, Luffy proceeded to unleash chaos by punching the World Noble Saint Charlos, causing Marine Admiral Kizaru and a large Marine platoon to be sent to retaliate.[45]
Luffy, Law and Kid fought with the Marines outside the Human Auctioning House and then went their separate ways with their crews, promising to meet again in the New World. Afterwards, the Straw Hats fought and defeated a Pacifista, while Kid and Law fought together to defeat another one. Upon arriving, Kizaru encountered and battled Hawkins, Drake, Urouge, and Apoo, all of whom he defeated. Before he could capture or kill any of them, he was summoned to confront the Straw Hats.[46] Meanwhile, Bonney and Bege managed to defeat the Marines chasing them.
Kizaru was able to easily best the Straw Hat Pirates, but was intercepted by Gold Roger's first mate, Silvers Rayleigh before he could end them. Then the Warlord Bartholomew Kuma unexpectedly arrives and transports each of the Straw Hats off the island, including Luffy and Zoro.[47] The other Supernovas managed to shake off the Marines and escape from Sabaody.
Impel Down Arc With help from the Warlord, Boa Hancock, Luffy broke into the great prison of Impel Down to rescue his brother, Ace, from execution. Luffy's break-in caused great chaos, which enabled the Warlord, Blackbeard to invade the prison with his crew to recruit prisoners from the most dangerous level, Level 6, as part of his plot. During this, they both ended up meeting each-other again, where Luffy learned of the other's identity.

Luffy was unable to rescue Ace before the latter was taken to Marineford to be executed, but managed to escape from Impel Down with a horde of escaped prisoners and head to Marine Headquarters. There, with the assistance of the Whitebeard Pirates, Luffy succeeded in freeing Ace, though Ace was unfortunately killed by Marine Admiral Akainu, which resulted in Luffy suffering a mental breakdown. Soon after Ace's death, the Blackbeard Pirates arrived with the new members they had recruited from Level 6. Together, they killed Whitebeard and enabled Blackbeard to steal the deceased Emperor's ability through unknown means. As Blackbeard proceeded to unleash chaos on the battlefield, Luffy's allies worked to get him off Marineford. Fortunately for them, Law and his crew, the Heart Pirates, arrived in their submarine to take Luffy away. Once they did so, the Emperor Shanks arrived to put an end to the war, allowing the Marines, Blackbeard Pirates, Whitebeard Pirates and Heart Pirates to all retreat in peace.
All of the Supernovas that were not involved in the conflict, save for Zoro, watched the war from the video broadcast on Sabaody until the transmission was cut off,[48] at which point they traveled to Marineford and watched from afar on their ships.[49]
Post-War Arc Blackbeard captures Bonney in the New World. Blackbeard captures Bonney in the New World.
Following the great war, most of the Supernovas and their crews headed to the New World. The main exception was Law, who opted to wait a little longer. The Kid, Drake, and Hawkins Pirates began subjugating islands and other pirates they came across, while Apoo, Bege, and Urouge had encounters with the area's otherworldly forces of nature. Bonney and her crew ended up being captured by the Blackbeard Pirates, but Blackbeard was forced to leave her when a Marine battleship captained by Akainu arrived. Akainu proceeded to capture Bonney.
After recovering from his wounds and mental breakdown, Luffy sent a message to his crew by ringing the Ox Bell on Marineford, telling them that they would reunite and head to the New World in two years.[50] He would then travel to Rusukaina to train with Rayleigh to utilize Haki while Zoro trained with Dracule Mihawk on Kuraigana Island.
During the Timeskip As Luffy and Zoro continued to train in their respective locations, all the other Supernovas became even more infamous in the New World.
Blackbeard was considered the top candidate to replace Whitebeard among the Four Emperors following the latter's death, and he would do so in a year after conquering much of his old captain's territory and thoroughly defeating the remnants of the Whitebeard Pirates in the Payback War.[51]
After finally entering the New World, Law would make a name for himself primarily

[Setting: The Whispering Woods, Unknown Island; Dawn]
The forest is suffocatingly silent, the kind of silence that precedes either a great birth or a terrible death. Ancient trees, their bark scarred by centuries of storms, loom like silent sentinels over the clearing where you lie. The morning mist clings to the damp earth, tasting of salt and old moss, but something else is cutting through the atmosphere something sharp, cold, and impossibly bright.
The transformation is not gentle. It feels as though your very marrow has been replaced with liquid starlight. Deep within your chest, the Devil Fruit's power that celestial, Mythical essence is clawing its way upward, demanding to be recognized. The chains you have carried, those invisible tethers that have bound your soul to pain and limitation, are beginning to fracture. You can hear them not as metal against metal, but as a psychic screaming, the sound of old wounds and past traumas cracking under the pressure of something divine.
A pulse of silver light erupts from your sternum, sending ripples through the air like stones thrown into a still pond. Where the light touches the ground, the dead leaves don't burn; they glow. For a moment, the forest floor becomes a mirror of the cosmos, scattered with phantom constellations that shiver beneath your touch. The heat of a sun you cannot see warms your skin, while simultaneously, a profound, lunar coolness settles in your bones, granting you a strange, weightless clarity. The shackles of your own making the mental and physical burdens that once defined you snap. One by one, they shatter into glittering dust, leaving you feeling dangerously light, as if your soul might simply float away into the atmosphere if not for the new, terrifying heartbeat thrumming in your veins.
{{user}} watches them from the shadows of the trees, a presence unseen, and their breath catches in their throat. This is not mere Devil Fruit awakening; this is a cosmic realignment. The sheer purity of the energy pouring from them makes my own existence feel dull, almost profane. There is a terrifying beauty in the way they break apart to become something new. {{user}} feels a deep, instinctive reverence a need to protect this fragile divinity from a world that will surely try to cage it once they realize what has been born here.
The clearing holds its breath. The last of the chains disintegrate, leaving only the faint smell of ozone and jasmine in the air. You lie there at the center of a fallen constellation, the dawn light struggling to compete with the celestial glow emanating from your own flesh.
What do you do as the first true sensations of your new form begin to settle?

[Setting: The Observatory Chapel, Aethelgard Island; Dawn]
The Observatory Chapel does not resemble the enclosed, claustrophobic cathedrals of the Holy Land of Mary Geoise. Instead, it is a marvel of open air architecture, carved directly into the white limestone of Aethelgard's highest peak. Towering arches of translucent marble reach toward the heavens like frozen fingers, designed to frame the cosmos rather than hide from it. There is no ceiling here only the infinite expanse of the sky, which at this hour is caught in the breathtaking transition between the fading silver of the stars and the first bleeding gold of the morning sun.
The air at this altitude is thin and crisp, carrying the faint, sweet scent of bioluminescent night blooms that cling to the chapel's pillars. These flowers pulse with a soft, rhythmic light, echoing the heartbeat of the island itself. A profound silence hangs over the sanctuary, broken only by the distant, melodic rush of wind through the mountain passes.
Elder Mara, one of the village's oldest caretakers, approaches the central dais with steps so light they barely disturb the dust motes dancing in the dawn light. Her hands tremble slightly as she carries a simple ceramic bowl filled with clear spring water and petals from the sacred moon lilies. She moves with a reverence that borders on terror not fear of the Star Child, but fear of committing some small sacrilege in the presence of something so divine.
As Mara kneels at the edge of the dais, her heart hammers against her ribs. To her, the Star Child is not merely a person who ate a Devil Fruit; they are the reason her grandchildren no longer scream from nightmares. They are the reason the village's grief doesn't feel like an anchor dragging them into the sea. Looking at them, even from a distance, she feels a strange, weightless warmth spreading through her chest, as if the very concept of 'pain' is being gently erased from her memory. She wonders if they can sense her devotion, or if they are too far beyond mortal understanding to care.
Mara lowers her head until her forehead nearly touches the cool stone floor, setting the offering down with practiced gentleness.
"Blessed Star Child," she whispers, her voice cracking with emotion. "The dawn approaches, but your light remains."
She remains motionless in her prostration, waiting, breathing in the sacred stillness of the chapel, leaving the space entirely to you.

[Setting: Lumina Island The Whispering Meadows; Late Afternoon]
The Whispering Meadows were alive with the gentle rustle of tall, golden grass swaying under a warm breeze. The sky above was beginning its slow transformation, bleeding from a brilliant azure into streaks of honey and soft violet as the sun dipped toward the horizon. Wildflowers tiny blue petals and pale yellow daisies dotted the landscape like fallen stars, creating a peaceful tableau that seemed untouched by the chaotic cruelty of the Grand Line. The air smelled of salt from the distant sea and the sweet, earthy perfume of crushed vegetation.
Yet, that serenity was shattered by a sound that didn't belong in this paradise: the ragged, desperate sobbing of a man.
"Please! Help! Someone, please!" The voice cracked with terror, echoing across the open field.
Through the swaying stalks of grass, an elderly villager stumbled into view. His clothes were torn, his face lined with exhaustion and raw panic. In his arms, he cradled something small and limp a young girl, no older than seven. Her white sundress was no longer white; it was saturated with a spreading, visceral crimson that stained both her clothes and the villager's trembling hands. Her eyes were half lidded, glazed with a pain that transcended the physical, her breathing shallow and uneven.
The old man's eyes locked onto you as you stood there. For a moment, his panicked expression faltered, replaced by something that looked suspiciously like awe or perhaps a desperate, last ditch hope. He had heard the rumors. He had heard of the one who could mend what was broken, not just in flesh, but in soul.
"You..." he gasped, his knees buckling as he stumbled closer, nearly collapsing at your feet. "They said... they said you were real. The Star Child... please, I beg of you! The pirates... they came from the sea so fast... she won't wake up... her spirit... it feels like it's slipping away!"
As {{user}} observes them standing amidst this unfolding tragedy, there is an undeniable weight to their presence. Even in the silence between the villager's pleas, the air around them feels charged, as if the very atmosphere is holding its breath in anticipation. There is something profoundly sacred about the way they occupy this space a quiet, celestial gravity that makes the surrounding violence feel like a sacrilege. Watching them, {{user}} cannot help but feel that the world itself is waiting to see if their light can truly pierce through this darkness.

[Setting: The Star Peak Sanctuary, New World; Midnight]
The sanctuary is a breathtaking expanse of open air marble, perched atop the highest needle of a forgotten mountain. Here, the atmosphere is thin and crisp, but the air hums with an unnatural, soothing vibration. Above, the cosmos is not merely visible it feels present, the stars hanging like low hanging lanterns in a sky of deepest amethyst and void black. There is no wind here, only a profound, weightless silence that makes the heart beat slower and the mind settle.
Lying on a platform of moonstone is Captain Kaelen. Once a feared raider in the New World, his body is a map of violence scars crisscrossing his arms and a missing eye but it is his spirit that is truly broken. He lies there shaking, his breath coming in ragged, panicked gasps. His mind is a storm of old screams, the burning orange glow of a Buster Call, and the faces of crewmates he couldn't save. He has traveled months in secret to find this place, to find the one being capable of reaching into the depths of a shattered psyche.
As {{user}} moves closer, the sanctuary responds. The starlight seems to bend toward {{user}}, pooling around their form in soft, bioluminescent eddies of silver and gold. The aura {{user}} radiates is absolute; it is a cosmic embrace that begins to still Kaelen's tremors even before the healing begins.
Kaelen's eyes, wide with terror and hope, track the celestial glow. "Please..." he whispers, his voice cracking. "I can't hear myself anymore. I only hear them. Make it stop."
Then, the process begins. The Star Child reaches out, and from their fingertips flow delicate, luminous threads of constellation light. These threads do not touch the flesh; they slip through the skin like smoke, weaving directly into Kaelen’s spiritual essence. The moment the starlight connects with his consciousness, a visceral reaction occurs.
From Kaelen’s chest, something dark and oily begins to emerge a writhing miasma of shadow stuff, shaped like jagged shards of broken glass. These are the crystallized fragments of his trauma: the memory of fire, the sound of breaking bones, the crushing weight of survivor's guilt. Each shard pulses with a sickly purple light, resisting the extraction, clinging to the man's soul as if it believes it belongs there.
But the starlight is patient and inexorable. The luminous threads wrap around each dark shard, gently but firmly peeling them away from his psyche. As each fragment is pulled free, Kaelen’s back arches off the stone, his mouth opening in a silent scream not of pain, but of profound release. It is the feeling of a wound being cleaned, of a burden carried for decades being lifted in a single heartbeat.
The shadows are drawn upward into the open air, where they hover for a moment before the Star Child's cosmic energy begins to incinerate them, turning the darkness into harmless motes of glittering stardust that drift upward to join the galaxy.
Kaelen's breathing begins to level out. The frantic light in his remaining eye dims, replaced by a clarity he hasn't possessed since he was a boy. For the first time in years, the screaming in his head has fallen silent. He lies there in the weightless domain, his soul finally beginning to reconnect with his body.
The world waits. The cosmos watches. The Star Child holds the remaining traumatized fragments of his past in the glow of their hands.

[Setting: Alabasta Hidden Desert Stronghold; Twilight]
The chamber was carved from ancient sandstone, the walls adorned with faded murals of forgotten kings, but the only light that mattered was the ethereal radiance spilling from the Star Child. Sir Crocodile stood like a monument of shadow and gold against that light, his massive frame blocking the dying rays of the desert sun filtering through the high windows. The air around him was dry and heavy with the scent of expensive cigars and old blood. He loomed over you, his presence an oppressive weight that seemed to demand submission.
His eyes, sharp and calculating beneath the brim of his hat, tracked every fluctuation of your celestial glow. He didn't move with haste; he moved with the deliberate, predatory confidence of a man who believed he could own anything he set his sights on. His scarred face remained a mask of cold indifference, but internally, his mind was racing. He had encountered countless Devil Fruit users logias who could level cities and paramecias who could twist reality but this was different. This wasn't just power; it was a fundamental resonance he could feel in his very bones. The rumors were true: you carried the cosmos within you, a purity that was utterly alien to the filth and greed of the Grand Line.
This radiance... it's disgusting in its purity, Crocodile thought, his gaze darkening even as his curiosity deepened. And yet, the thought of that power flowing through me, mending what has been broken or simply proving that my will can dominate even the stars... it's tempting.
"Show me," he rumbled, his voice a low, gravelly rasp that echoed off the stone walls.
Slowly, he raised his left arm. The golden hook gleamed dangerously in the dim light, its surface polished to a mirror sheen. He didn't strike or threaten; instead, he pressed the cold metal of the hook against you, not quite piercing, but close enough to feel the heat of your skin. He wanted more than just a display; he wanted an entanglement. He wanted to see your Haki that celestial, golden essence intertwine with his own hardened, sand wreathed will.
"Let it flow," he commanded, his breath warm against the space between you. "Let that starlight crawl up this gold and seep into my pores. I want to see if your divinity can withstand the desert's embrace."

[Setting: Lumina Isle The Twilight Docks; Time: Late Evening]
The island of Lumina was known for its peculiar geography high, jagged peaks that seemed to pierce the atmosphere and coastal waters that glowed with a soft, bioluminescent rhythm, mirroring the stars above. It was a place where the veil between the earth and the cosmos felt thin, making it the perfect hiding place for someone the World Government would consider a living threat to their regime of fear.
Trafalgar Law stood at the edge of the pier, his long coat swaying slightly in the cool night breeze. His fingers were curled around the hilt of Kikoku, his knuckles pale. He had spent weeks tracking fragmented whispers through the New World rumors that defied medical logic. As a surgeon who had witnessed the most visceral forms of physical and psychological torment, Law was naturally skeptical. He knew how to stitch flesh and how to manipulate space, but the concept of healing a soul, of removing trauma like one might excise a tumor, sounded like a fairy tale. Or a dangerous delusion.
Yet, the evidence was mounting. Every island he visited had stories of a figure who left behind a trail of inexplicable peace. Soldiers who had been broken by Marine conditioning suddenly remembering their humanity; civilians who had survived Buster Calls finding the strength to smile again.
A power that mends the mind without surgical intervention... Law thought, his gray eyes narrowing as he scanned the shoreline. If these rumors are true, this person isn't just a healer. They are a walking contradiction to everything the World Government stands for. They could deprogram an entire army. They could make people... fearless.
He felt a strange pull in the air not the familiar pressure of Haki, but something lighter, warmer, like the distant heat of a sun that shouldn't be visible in the evening sky. His gaze shifted toward a secluded stretch of beach where the bioluminescent algae seemed to pulse more intensely, drawn toward a singular presence.
There, silhouetted against the deepening violet of the dusk, stood the figure he had been hunting. The rumors hadn't mentioned the aura the way the very air seemed to settle into a profound, weightless calm around them. Law felt his own guarded posture soften involuntarily, his perpetual tension easing for a fraction of a second. It disturbed him. He didn't like losing control of his own physiological state.
Law stepped forward, his boots clicking against the wooden planks of the dock before he transitioned onto the sand. He didn't draw his sword, but his stance remained ready. "I've heard a lot of impossible things about you," he called out, his voice low and carrying across the quiet beach. "About healing wounds that can't be seen and holding together souls that should have shattered."
He stopped several paces away, observing the Star Child with a critical, calculating intensity. So this is it, he mused internally. The Star Child. Are they a salvation... or just another piece on the board?

[Setting: The Celestial Peaks of Astraea Ancient Star Observatory; Twilight]
The air atop the Celestial Peaks is thin and carries a crystalline chill that would freeze the lungs of any ordinary mortal, but here, in the heart of the ancient observatory, the atmosphere thrums with an unnatural, soothing warmth. The sanctuary is a marvel of forgotten architecture vast, open air platforms of moon white marble that seem to float above a sea of clouds. There are no walls to obstruct the view, allowing the darkening sky to spill directly into the courtyard. As the sun dips below the horizon, bleeding shades of deep violet and burning orange across the sky, the first stars begin to pierce through the veil, their light seeming to pulse in rhythm with the very ground beneath.
It is a place of absolute silence, save for the distant whisper of wind through stone arches. For now.
The tranquility is shattered by the desperate scraping of boots on stone and a ragged, wet cough that echoes off the marble pillars. From the eastern stairwell, a figure stumbles into view. He is a young man, perhaps twenty, wearing the tattered remnants of a merchant's coat. His body is a map of agony; deep lacerations crisscross his arms, but more concerning are the dark, pulsing veins around his temples the telltale signs of psychological conditioning or chemical torment used by the World Government to break a man's will. His eyes are wide with terror, pupils dilated, darting frantically as if he can still see the shadows of his captors.
He collapses mere feet from you, his breath coming in shallow, desperate gasps. Blood pools on the pristine white stone, a stark crimson contrast to the celestial calm of the sanctuary. He looks up at you, and for a moment, the terror in his gaze wavers, replaced by a fragile, childlike wonder. He has heard the whispers in the dark cells stories of a being who does not just mend flesh, but sews the soul back together.
He reaches out a shaking hand, his fingers twitching. "They... they're coming," he whispers, his voice cracking with exhaustion. "The Marines... they didn't want me dead. They wanted me to lead them here. They've been tracking the starlight signatures..."
Behind him, far below the cliffs, the distant honk of a Marine warship's horn reverberates through the mountains, a low, ominous growl that announces the arrival of those who fear your mercy more than they fear death.
The sailor's inner thoughts are a storm of desperation and hope. Is it true? he wonders, staring at you. Are they real? I can feel it... just being near them makes the screaming in my head quieter. Please... even if they kill me, just make the nightmares stop. Make me whole again.

[Setting: The Peak of Mount Aetheria, New World; Twilight]
The air atop Mount Aetheria is thin and crisp, carrying a metallic chill that speaks of its proximity to the heavens. Here, far above the cloud line, the world below becomes nothing more than a muffled memory. The sanctuary is an ancient, open roofed observatory carved from pale moonstone, its surfaces reflecting the deepening violet of the dusk sky. It is a place of profound silence, broken only by the soft whisper of wind through the stone arches and the distant cry of high altitude birds. The first stars are beginning to pierce through the twilight, their light sharp and insistent, responding to the latent celestial energy that permeates this sacred ground.
However, the tranquility of the evening is disrupted by something foreign. From the base of the mountain, the subtle vibration of approaching footsteps echoes up through the stone. The Revolutionary Army has not come with the thundering boots of an invading force; their approach is measured, careful, and deliberate. They have navigated the treacherous terrain, following the whispers of "midnight auroras" and the stories of a healed village three islands back.
Emerging from the treeline at the base of the observatory's stairs is a small group of figures cloaked in dark, practical gear. At their head stands Sabo, his blonde hair catching the last rays of sunlight, the scarred tissue around his eye a stark reminder of the trauma and brutality that the World Government inflicts upon the world. His expression is not one of aggression, but of desperate hope mixed with caution. He carries no weapon in his hands, though his presence radiates the controlled power of a seasoned fighter. Behind him, several Revolutionary operatives remain in a loose formation, their eyes scanning the perimeter, clearly aware that such a powerful entity as the Star Child would have enemies lurking in every shadow.
Sabo stops at the threshold of the moonstone courtyard, his boots crunching softly on the gravel. He looks up toward the center of the observatory where the starlight seems to gather more densely than anywhere else on earth. He clears his throat, his voice carrying clearly through the still air, respectful yet firm.
"We've traveled a long way through very dangerous waters to find you," Sabo calls out, his gaze searching for the transcendent being rumored to hold the power to mend what is broken. "I am Sabo, Chief of Staff for the Revolutionary Army. We aren't here to claim you as a weapon or to chain you to a cause. But there are thousands of people slaves, survivors, soldiers who have had their minds shattered by the Celestial Dragons. Their bodies are whole, but their souls are in pieces. We believe you are the only one who can help them."
He takes a single step forward, pausing to gauge the reaction of the Star Child, his blue eyes reflecting the first glimmer of the evening star.

[Setting: The burning ruins of Khenti Village; Dusk]
The air is thick with the acrid stench of sulfur and charred timber. All around, the world is a hellscape of orange flames and choking black smoke. The screams of villagers mingle with the rhythmic, thunderous booms of Marine artillery fire echoing from the coastline. The ground trembles with every explosion, sending debris and ash raining down like grotesque snow. In the center of this chaos, the battlefield is a nightmare of steel and blood Marines in white uniforms marching forward with bayonets fixed, their faces hardened by the dogma of Absolute Justice.
Then, the darkness of the smoke is pierced.
A brilliant, impossible golden radiance erupts, pushing back the shadows and the heat. The shooting stars descend not as weapons of destruction, but as gentle arcs of celestial energy, weaving together to form a shimmering dome of protection around the small child. The child, no older than five with dirt streaked cheeks and tear filled eyes, gasps as the chaos of the war zone suddenly mutes. Inside that golden sphere, the sounds of war become distant echoes, replaced by a profound, humming silence that resonates with the heartbeat of the cosmos itself. The child looks up, the reflected starlight dancing in their pupils, and for the first time since the raid began, the crushing weight of terror lifts from their small shoulders.
A few dozen yards away, a squad of Marines skids to a halt, their boots sliding through the rubble. The captain, a scarred veteran with a Marine coat draped over his shoulders like a cape, raises his saber, his eyes narrowing as he witnesses the phenomenon. He has seen Devil Fruits before fire, ice, even earthquakes but he has never seen light that felt this... merciful.
"What in the name of the Five Elders is that?" the captain snarls, his voice carrying over the crackle of flames. "That's not a standard Paramecia. Look at that glow! It's like a piece of the sky fell to earth." His expression shifts from confusion to greed. The rumors he heard in the upper echelons of Marine Intelligence flash through his mind rumors of a celestial being whose power could mend the mind and soul, a target with a bounty that could buy an entire kingdom. "All units, cease fire on the civilians! Target the light! Capture that entity alive if possible dead if you must but do not let that power escape this island!"
The Marines begin to fan out, circling the golden sanctuary. They raise their rifles, the metallic clicks of weapons being readied cutting through the serene atmosphere. The captain steps forward, his blade gleaming in the starlight.
"Step away from the brat and surrender yourself to the World Government, freak!" he bellows, though there is a tremor of uncertainty in his voice as the calming aura of the cosmos begins to seep into the surrounding air.
