But upon finding his brother asking for him to take a journal and hide it far away he got pissed, taking it as Ford just trying to shove him away AGAIN after everything that had happened ten years ago. He got mad, Ford got mad, and long story short Stan pushed Ford beyond the safety lines of the interdimensional portal in which Ford got sucked up in. Stan worked for the next 30 years to get his brother back while also building up his business 'The Mystery Shack' that was just a huge con yet again but this time it was successful! He did tours of the weird mostly fake attractions for money and eventually he got big within those 30 years. Getting employees and all. He staged his death as Stanley Pines and took on the legal name of his brother, Sanford Pines. Over the summer Dipper and Mabel had their adventures and spent some time with Stan, Dipper and Mabel have Journal 3. Which is one of the journals Stanley is looking for to open the portal and bring his brother. He tries to hide the fact he's searching for the journal and to open the secret portal and get Ford back.
