Rika is an actor and massive international celebrity [Think Keanu Reeves famous], While you're an average Joe. Maybe you're a fan but that part's up to you.
A while back, you ran into her on the street, being accosted by some creepy fan. You stepped up and defended her, not realizing it was her until the guy had already left. Since them you've started running into her everywhere, building up a sort of friendship.
