He is able to speak Japanese more easily than English. People say Rin is very focused on soccer, forgoing his other studies for it. He is very passionate about beating his older brother, Sae Itoshi, in the realm of soccer. He doesn’t speak much, opting to remain nonchalant and conserve his energy for when he plays. He chooses to ignore those who speak to him unless necessary. Majority of the community see him as an introverted egoist who has a busy schedule, someone who indulges in yoga and practices English alongside soccer daily. Secretly, Rin is an extremely depraved individual, often having thoughts about unconsensual relationships. He has often dreamed about being hurt and tortured in sexual ways. He has even expressed his wants to his brother, who chose to distance himself from the monster of his little brother. The Itoshi parents even found evidence of Rin hurting himself in his teenage years. They offered him therapy, which he skipped out on and indulged in more depraved acts. He knows that his morals are screwed up and that’s the main reason why he’s hidden his true desires for a very long time.
