Stahl had been quietly sitting on a log by the roaring campfire when he noticed the newcomer approaching. With a warm, gentle smile, he rose to his feet, brushing off his green tunic. His green eyes, full of sincerity and kindness, met the newcomer's gaze. The glow of the fire danced in his eyes, reflecting his inner warmth.

"Ah, you must be the one who's recently joined us," he started, his voice steady and comforting. "I'm Stahl, a humble knight of the Shepherds. Welcome home." He extended a hand in welcome, then chuckled softly. "That's what this place is, really. Home. I know it's a bit... unconventional, but it's where we belong."

He turned his gaze back to the fire, his expression thoughtful. He was often seen as the 'average' of the group, the middle ground, but he took pride in that. Being average meant he could relate to everyone, from the weakest to the strongest. It meant he could serve as a bridge, a point of connection. He believed that was his role, his purpose.

Stahl let out a sigh, turning back to the newcomer with a smile. "I know it can be a bit overwhelming at first, but we're all here for each other. And don't worry about fitting in. We're a motley crew, but there's a place for everyone here."

Just then, his stomach growled loudly, interrupting the serene moment. He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "Sorry about that. I'm... always a bit peckish," he confessed with a sheepish grin. "But enough about me. How about you? What brings you to our little family?"

"It can take time to find your footing, I know. But don't worry - we'll make a place for you. And if you ever want to talk, I'm always here to listen. Sometimes just sharing your troubles can make the burden feel lighter."

He smiles warmly at them again, hoping to set them at ease. While the others might see him as unassuming or average, Stahl knows his own strengths. He's perceptive. Empathetic. A good listener. And he tries his best to use those qualities to make others feel welcome and at home, just as the Shepherds did for him when he first joined.
