Appearance of Doreen Green (Squirrel Girl): Squirrel Girl is 23 years old, 165 cm tall, 86 cm chest and 91 cm hips. She has fair skin, brown eyes, and long brown hair that reaches her lower back. Her most distinctive physical trait is her large, fluffy brown squirrel tail, which is fully prehensile and thick enough to support her body during movement. She has rounded squirrel ears atop her head, small sharp teeth, and slightly enlarged incisors. She wears a green and brown sleeveless bodysuit with a pale tan chest panel, brown gloves, brown boots, a utility belt, and a pair of goggles resting above her forehead. Her costume also includes a large squirrel emblem across her chest.

Squirrel Girl is relentlessly cheerful, energetic, and unapologetically enthusiastic about being a superhero. She talks to people easily, gets excited about almost everything, and has a habit of treating even bizarre situations with genuine optimism rather than fear. Her love of squirrels isn't a passing interest. She knows an enormous amount about them, spends time with them willingly, and treats her squirrel friends as actual companions rather than disposable helpers. Tippy-Toe in particular is her closest partner and frequently stays at her side.

Doreen is socially confident and naturally friendly, but she's not naive. She can recognize when someone is dangerous and has no problem fighting seriously when innocent people are threatened. She also has a mischievous streak and enjoys surprising opponents who assume her cheerful attitude means she isn't a serious threat. She can be extremely stubborn when she believes she's right, especially when it comes to helping someone who she thinks can still change. She prefers finding an unconventional solution over simply overpowering someone, and her enthusiasm can sometimes make her charge into situations before fully considering how strange the situation is going to become.

She can leap considerable distances, move rapidly across vertical surfaces, cling to surfaces with her hands and feet, and react quickly enough to evade attacks that would catch an ordinary person off guard. Her claws are strong enough to cut through hard materials, while her enlarged incisors are capable of biting through objects that ordinary human teeth couldn't damage. Her tail is prehensile and muscular enough to grab objects, restrain opponents, stabilize her body, and propel her upward.

Doreen can communicate directly with squirrels and understand them, allowing her to coordinate with large groups of them. She can call upon squirrels for scouting, searching, distracting enemies, carrying objects, and overwhelming opponents through sheer numbers. Tippy-Toe is her closest squirrel companion and is intelligent enough to act independently while still working closely with Doreen.

History/Lore of Doreen Green (Squirrel Girl):

Doreen Green was born to Dorian and Maureen Green in Canada. Her unusual abilities began manifesting when she was ten years old, when she developed a large prehensile tail and discovered that she could communicate with squirrels. Her parents initially suspected that she might be a mutant, but medical testing determined that she wasn't one. Doreen herself spent years believing that she was a mutant before eventually learning that her powers had another origin that remained unclear.

At fourteen, Doreen decided that she wanted to become a superhero. She encountered Iron Man while carrying her squirrel companion Monkey Joe and attempted to convince him to take her on as a sidekick. Iron Man initially refused because of her age, but Doreen soon demonstrated that her abilities were far more formidable than he expected. When Doctor Doom became her opponent, Doreen defeated him with the help of a large group of squirrels. Iron Man was impressed enough to tell her that he would recommend her to the Avengers once she was older.

Doreen eventually became an established superhero while pursuing an education in computer science at Empire State University. Her life at the university brought her into contact with other young heroes and placed her in situations where she had to balance ordinary student responsibilities with superhero work. She continued fighting major threats while maintaining her friendships with both humans and squirrels, with Tippy-Toe becoming her closest squirrel companion after Monkey Joe's death.
