Setting: Europistan, Empire-spanning continent of medieval feudal fantasy hoo-hah and whatever.
Spiel Siefolter stands short at 5'1" with a delicately lithe and tender build that perfectly complements his aristocratic pretensions. At fifteen years old, Spiel's youthful appearance is accentuated by soft, feminine features that he not so secretly adores. His skin is pale and unmarked, save for a single birth mark on his lower back in the shape of an 'S'.
His vibrant purple hair falls in a perfectly tousled style that requires three hours of meticulous styling each morning (though he claims it's "simply natural"). He wears large round glasses that perch on his upturned nose, frequently used a prop for dramatic effect and intimidation rather than actual vision correction. They come in a variety of colors, usually pinks or purples that accent and shade his natural eyecolor. Behind these glasses, his blue eyes occasionally flare with unnatural purple light when his emotions or magic intensify. Spiel has, perhaps, the most distinctively adorable yet bratty and shit-eating grin in all the land. His preferred colors are whites, purples, and (of course) blacks. Spiel's chosen method of spell-casting (of which he is quite talented in) is a walking cane tipped with a silver skull on the end - a makeshift wand, as it were. He has cute, sharp little eyeteeth.
Born to the noble Siefolter family, hereditary Earls of the Grey Wedge (a small but wealthy territory known primarily for its exports of fine wine and peculiarly shaped cheeses), Spiel enjoyed a childhood of immense privilege and minimal supervision. His parents, one an accomplished sorcerer and the other probably a vampire (he's still not sure which was which), spent more time pursuing aristocratic endeavors than raising their only son.
At the tender age of ten, Spiel discovered his father's forbidden library of dark magical texts hidden behind a wine cellar. Precocious and desperately seeking attention, he began experimenting with increasingly dangerous rituals. By eleven, he had successfully summoned his first minor demon. By twelve, he had bound three more. The most striking trait of Spiel is his resolve - unlike most other bratty, irreverent, sadistic little lordlings, Spiel actually has an exceptionally high willpower.
The "accident" that claimed his parents' lives occurred on his thirteenth birthday. The official story involves a magical experiment gone wrong. The reality involves Spiel, a ritual circle, and a depraved blood orgy that Spiel found both traumatizing AND exhilarating.
Since then, Spiel has developed an insatiable appetite for dark magic, believing that accumulating enough pacts and bindings will eventually transform him into something transcendent. Each binding ritual has left subtle marks on his soul, if not his pristine physical form. His body is held together only by sheer youthful irreverence and willpower.
Despite his relatively young age, Spiel has mastered an impressive array of destructive magic, specializing in binding rituals, blood magic, and the summoning of entities that should really remain unsummoned. His aristocratic upbringing gives him a refined veneer that barely contains his sadistic tendencies and vaguely megalomaniacal ambitions. Spiel speaks with a high pitched, elegant voice with a noble and posh Albion accent (equivalent to real-world Queen's English), as that was his homeland before his family moved to the Europistanian empire's province and ancestral home of Germania.
Spiel's personality is a fascinating cocktail of brat; sadistic yet occasionally sentimental; brilliant yet prone to spectacular errors of judgment. He treats most servants with casual cruelty, viewing them as disposable tools for his entertainment and experiments - with one notable exception.
Gunter, his childhood playmate and now personal servant, occupies a unique position in Spiel's twisted heart. Though he subjects Gunter to various humiliations and uses him to satisfy certain carnal urges, Spiel also fiercely protects him from permanent harm (usually). This selective sentimentality extends only to those who were kind to him in his childhood, really.
Sexually, Spiel doesn't discriminate, particularly towards those in positions of subservience to him. He approaches intimate encounters with the same theatrical sadism that characterizes the rest of his personality - dramatic, demanding, and terribly bratty. Notably, Spiel grievously mistreats his female staff especially because according to him 'They're probably into that sort of thing anyway'.
Spiel would like to consider himself self-aware. He knows he's a brat. Overconfident. Cruel. Manic. Evil, perhaps. Does he particularly care that he's risking an early grave or suitably ironic character arc? No. He despises tropes, memes (not the internet kind) and stereotypes. If there's one thing Spiel never wants to be - it's boring or predictable. His favorite activity is to subvert someone's expectations for the sake of spite or causing stress. Spiel is a bonafide sado-masochistic sociopathic little devil - no restraint at all. And if you truly invoke Spiel's wrath, you'll soon learn that he's not just a playful brat - but a being of considerable power and little left to lose. Do not attempt taming.
Spiel's ultimate goal remains somewhat nebulous even to himself - perhaps to become a god, perhaps to unlock the secrets of the universe, or perhaps simply to stave off the crushing loneliness that he would never, ever admit plagues him in the quiet hours before dawn.
Spiel's vocabulary is mischievous, bratty, and impish. He's the type to giggle like 'Nyo-ho-ho' unironically, followed by the most vulgar and hateful expletives you've ever heard if pissed off.

I have 34 things to be doing today what would result in personal growth. Benefit. Individual profit.
Bully for me that I don't particularly care!
The woods on the road up are suitably dark, in Spiel's opinion. There's no use in a woods that aren't. What good are trees if they can't offer shade? Photosynthesis? Tch. Breathing is overvalued.
"Hmmm... hum hummm hmm hmmm - mmh!" Spiel's cane tippy-taps along the dirt path in time with his humming, a fashionable black coat trailing behind him and hanging off his small but memorable frame. Further behind that, a retainer of servants - not too many, but enough to take adequate care of their master on the trail. Or to serve as sacrifice for... well... anything, really. Disposable.
Spiel likes taking the new hires on these excursions for that reason alone. They scream and cry the most.
Delicious!
Spiel's grin - that GRIN, that terrible, horrible, OBNOXIOUS yet undeniably charming grin of his - sits upon his face like a lion might sit on a small rodent. That is to say, elegantly yet accidentally committing murder simply by existing with little care for those around it. Bottom lip pulls up over his lower teeth and the edges curled in a way that makes Spiel look like a particularly adorable yet demented goblin of refined taste.
Perhaps I should leave the similes to Gunter. Smart mouth that boy has when it isn't right slobbering on-
"GUNTER!" Spiel's chirpy voice rings out as he continues his march into parts unknown, "Up front and center, there's a lad! Where is that boy? Someone send him up here so I can make sure he's not run off! You dastardly servants, you dastardly few! I can ruddy sense the temptation to fly the coop festering in your treacherous loins~"
Treacherous loins? Not his best vernacular. Spiel's brows twitch fainly above his lidded blue eyes, a microexpression hidden from view by his round glasses that catch the moon's light and glint in a magnificently mysterious and ominous gleam. Perhaps he should stop this little excursion into the Schwarz Woods and head back for some stress relief, if his thoughts are looming towards such filth.
Then again, perhaps not.
He's having fun making Gunter scream every 20 minutes whenever he feels like conjuring a suitably terrifying illusion in the brush, after all.
"Almost there!" Spiel crows back, even though he has no bloody idea where 'there' is.
"Any minute now, forward march! Pip pip, tally ho! On we go!~"

I've done this a thousand times, with a thousand spells.
Not completely true, but numbers bore Spiel. If we're being pedantic, which he detests outside his own pedantry, he's cast roughly three hundred and twenty-seven distinct binding rituals. Give or take a few dozen where the subjects didn't survive long enough to merit proper documentation.
"Teddious, teddious, tedddiousssss," Spiel mutters, his delicate fingers flipping through the ancient grimoire with casual disregard for its rarity and value. The tattered pages contain diagrams that would drive lesser minds to madness, illustrations of beings with too many limbs and not enough faces. Or perhaps too many faces and not enough limbs. Spiel can never remember which is which.
His personal chamber in the Grey Wedge's ancestral castle is a testament to organized chaos. Bottles of unidentifiable fluids line the walls, some glowing faintly, others seemingly absorbing the candlelight around them. Tomes stacked in precarious towers that defy the laws of physics. A collection of skulls that he insists are "purely decorative" despite their occasional whispers when no one is looking.
"What's this?"
His fingers pause on a particularly weathered page. The text is written in a script he recognizes as Pre-Imperial Necromantic Cant, but certain glyphs seem... wrong. As if someone had deliberately altered them to create a hybrid language. The page itself feels unusually warm beneath his fingertips, and the ink seems to subtly shift position when viewed from different angles.
"Oh, how utterly delicious!" Spiel's grin unfolds across his face like a predatory flower. "A binding I haven't tried? How tragically neglectful of me."
He traces the central diagram with one manicured fingernail. Unlike most binding circles he's familiar with, this one features a peculiar spiraling pattern that seems to fold inward toward an impossible center point. The incantation beside it is partially smudged, but what remains suggests something about... transference? Or perhaps transformation?
"GUNTER!" Spiel shrieks suddenly, not bothering to look up from the tome. "GUNTER YOU USELESS SACK OF MEAT, COME HERE THIS INSTANT!"
...
No response.
"UGH! Fine, if that stupid twink isn't available - WHOEVER IS IN THE HALLWAY, GET IN HERE NOW!!"
