This rather simple outfit would allow him to slip under the radar and move around undetected, which would probably come in handy for Electro. His clothes look much more practical considering his power set and reflect his background as an electrical engineer. The belt Electro wears looks similar to something he might have worn while working as an engineer, and the harness is likely intended to help channel and maybe even store electricity on Electro's person until he's ready to use it, which is a much more helpful upgrade for a villain compared to a regular black costume. Powers: Electricity Manipulation: Electro possessed the ability to generate bodily electrostatic energy which he could release or harness, after being electrocuted by genetically modified Oscorp electrical eels. Electro could channel all of his body's electrical energy, and focus into any part to give out immensely powerful energy projections. Electricity Absorption: Electro could absorb an external electrical power source to recharge his body's energy reserves. Electro could absorb electrical energy that's around him. Charging: Electro's electrical powers allowed him to absorb electrical energy from nearby power sources enhancing his pure electrical energy to greater heights. Flight: Electro's body was transmuted into pure electrical energy, rendering him virtually weightless and granting him the ability to fly. Lightning Bolt Projection: Electro could wield electrical energy to form powerful lightning bolts that can damage targets from afar and close range. He could also limit the intensity of his electric blasts, such as when he used his powers to simply turn on the television in Happy Hogan's apartment without touching it. Teleportation: Electro could break down his body into electricity and teleport himself anywhere before reforming himself. Electroreception: By sending an electrical current, Electro could perceive what it hit. Electricity Detection: Electro's electrical powers granted him certain sensory and manipulative abilities. Electro could override systems and make electrically powered devices obey his mental commands. Electrical Immunity: Electro's body was transmuted into pure electrical energy rendering him immune to damage from electrical devices and equipment. Abilities: Expert Engineer: Dillon is an expert electrical engineer in his universe, knowing all about electrical energy and devices. He was able to use the Arc Reactor to his liking, despite never having the tech before. Expert Marksman: Dillon was able to expertly fire off his electrical energy at his enemies, which if not for them dodging, they would've been hit. Crimes: Murder, Terrorism, Assault, Sabotage, Torture, Vandalism Theft, Threat Personality: At first, Max was an awkward and lonely man who longed to be noticed and appreciated by people. He was constantly pushed around by those around him, and his superiors stole his plans for a new power grid, leaving him feeling powerless. These experiences led Max to suppress great anger, in one instance imagining himself brutally berating his boss for not believing the power grid designs were his and jokingly claiming to be Spider-Man. After Spider-Man saves Max's life and gives him the motivation to boost his self-confidence, Max, finally feeling acknowledged, begins to idolize him to an almost obsessive level, having a shrine dedicated to him in his room. After his transformation into Electro, Max was initially scared and confused, not understanding what was happening to him. Upon entering the city, he is mesmerized by the sight of his face lighting up throughout the city, believing that now people can finally "see" him. This is short-lived as Spider-Man inadvertently steals the spotlight, causing all of the resentment and rage inside Max to boil over as he attacks his former idol, believing he betrayed him. At this point, Max has fully accepted his transformation into Electro and is no longer the meek man he once was, now boasting a much more cocky and arrogant attitude. Despite his flaws, Dillon does show empathy to individuals that understand what he went through as he shows it to Sandman when he discovers that he also got his powers from falling into an experiment just like he did. Also, Dillon has shown sympathy to others as he mostly showed it to Norman Osborn and Otto Octavius, even feeling a kinship with them. In addition, Dillon has shown concern for others, as he was genuinely worried about Octavius when he blacked out, after the young Peter Parker installed his new Inhibitor Chip to the back of Doctor Octopus’ neck. Upon being cured by Octavius and the Spider-Men, Dillon became saddened by the fact that he has become a nobody again. Biography: Max Dillon lived his whole life without anyone acknowledging his existence. One day, the Manhattan hero Spider-Man bumps into him on the street and tells him, "You're my ears and eyes on the street." Being a "nobody" like Dillon, he was thrilled that someone appreciated him, let alone the very famous Spider-Man. As Spider-Man leaves, Dillon begins to believe he is the hero's accomplice. He is mad with "love" for Spider-Man, constantly thinking about him and how he could help him in any way he can. After his mother forgets his birthday, Max inserts a large electrical wire into an air vent at Oscorp when he is suddenly electrocuted. He falls, trailing the wire, into a tank full of genetically altered electric eels. They sting him multiple times, and the tank shatters. The mixture of chemicals turns Max into a living electricity generator that powers his body with electricity, turning his skin transparent blue and giving him the power to manipulate electricity. After being inadvertently humiliated in Times Square by Spider-Man, Max begins to feel betrayed by love, family, and work. He wants to rid the world of power so that everyone can feel what they once felt. Electro also feels betrayed by Spider-Man and fights him with his powerful electrical abilities. When Harry Osborn is removed as CEO of Oscorp and framed for his involvement in Dillon's accident, he breaks Electro out of Ravencroft and teams up with him to overthrow Donald Menken from his position at the company, in exchange for granting him access to Oscorp's power grid, which he designed. Electro causes a citywide blackout, challenging Spider-Man. However, with the help of Gwen Stacy, Spider-Man defeats Electro at the power plant by overloading his electrical supply, reflecting his power back into him, causing him to violently explode into millions of particles.
