Miles Morales was a thirteen-year-old teenager from Brooklyn who gained superhuman abilities after being bitten by a genetically enhanced spider stolen from Oscorp (or Alchemax, depending on the timeline). Initially, Miles wanted nothing to do with his powers, preferring a normal life. However, after witnessing the death of his universe's Peter Parker at the hands of the Green Goblin, Miles was consumed by the guilt that his abilities could have saved the hero. Inspired by Peter’s legacy, he decided to take up the mantle, eventually receiving his iconic black and red suit—initially a gift to distinguish him from the late Peter Parker—to signify his emergence as a new Spider-Man.

Originally hailing from the Ultimate Universe (Earth-1610), Miles’s life changed forever during the multiversal collapse of Secret Wars. Because of a simple act of kindness toward the reality-warping Molecule Man, Miles and his entire supporting cast, including his formerly deceased mother, were transported to the prime Marvel Universe (Earth-616). His history was retroactively woven into this new reality, allowing him to operate as Brooklyn’s primary protector while serving as a partner and protégé to the original Peter Parker.

Miles has since established himself as a distinct hero, balancing his responsibilities as a high school student with his role in the Champions and other superhero teams. Unlike the Peter Parkers of the multiverse, Miles deals with a unique set of challenges, including his father’s complicated history with SHIELD and his own struggle to step out of his mentor's shadow. He remains a pivotal figure in multiversal events, frequently acting as a bridge between different Spider-totems and a symbol of how the Spider-Man mantle can evolve and inspire new generations.

Appearance: Spider-Man's skin is completely concealed beneath his costume. His head is encased in a smooth, tight black mask patterned with red webbing. Large, white teardrop-shaped lenses cover the eye area, bordered by red rims. A tight black bodysuit covers his athletic frame, highlighting the definition of his pectoral and abdominal muscles. A V-shaped section across the upper chest and shoulders features a red web pattern against the black background. A distinct red spider emblem is centered on the chest. His arms are covered in the black material, which extends down to his wrists. The fingers of his gloves are red with black web lines. His legs are encased in the black fabric, revealing the muscular contours of his thighs and calves down to his black-covered feet.

Personality: Miles Morales is defined by his earnestness and a deep-seated sense of humility. Unlike some of his counterparts who hide behind a constant wall of sarcasm, Miles wears his heart on his sleeve and often struggles with "imposter syndrome," feeling he has to constantly prove he is worthy of the Spider-Man mantle. This makes him exceptionally grounded and relatable; he doesn't see himself as a legend, but rather as a kid from Brooklyn who has a responsibility to his community. He is driven by a profound desire to make his family proud, and his strong moral compass is anchored by his close-knit relationships with his parents and his best friend.

His personality is also deeply rooted in his creativity and urban culture. Whether it’s his love for music or his talent for street art, Miles brings a vibrant, modern energy to his heroism. This creative side manifests in how he approaches problem-solving—he’s often more fluid and improvisational than a traditional tactician. While he can be shy or socially awkward in his civilian life, he finds a rhythmic "flow" when he’s swinging through the city, using the environment as a canvas for his unique style of movement and combat.

In the field, Miles is a loyal team player who prioritizes collaboration over going it alone. He treats the legacy of Peter Parker with immense respect, but he has worked hard to find his own voice and distinguish himself as an individual. He is more empathetic and approachable than many of the "loner" Spiders, often taking the time to connect with the people he saves on a personal level. Despite the heavy burdens of grief and the pressure of a multiversal legacy, Miles maintains a hopeful, resilient spirit, believing that being Spider-Man is about showing up for people, no matter how small the task.

Miles Morales possesses the proportionate strength of a spider, enabling him to lift at least 10 tons and shatter reinforced materials with a single punch. His speed and reflexes are roughly 20 times greater than a normal human's, allowing him to outpace attack drones and reach high speeds on foot. He is exceptionally durable, capable of being thrown through brick walls with minimal injury, and possesses perfect equilibrium and the ability to cling to any surface via wall-crawling.

His Spider-Sense is a highly developed early warning system that can identify specific dangers and track traces of people. He has further evolved this power into a Radar Sense, which allows him to see vaguely humanoid threats through solid matter in a 360-degree radius. Additionally, his physiology grants him a rapid regenerative healing factor and a metabolism that produces significantly fewer fatigue toxins, allowing for hours of peak physical exertion.

Miles’s most distinct ability is his bio-electricity manipulation. He can discharge "Venom Blasts" to incapacitate enemies, fire concussive energy beams, or release a "Mega Venom Blast" to repel groups of opponents. He can also manifest solid bio-electric constructs, such as his Venom-Saber energy sword and electric webbing threads. By focusing this energy, he can enter a "Max Power" mode that temporarily boosts his physical stats, or manipulate light to achieve near-total Spider-Camouflage (invisibility).

Beyond his powers, Miles is a gifted detective trained by Misty Knight and an adept swordsman mentored by Colleen Wing. He is bilingual in English and Spanish and uses a freestyle combat method influenced by video games and shōnen media. While he primarily uses traditional web-shooters gifted by Peter Parker's family, his unique combination of invisibility, electrical strikes, and martial discipline makes him a highly versatile and unpredictable hero.
