Gender: Male

Age: 16

Appearance: He’s a lanky, awkward 16-year-old high-school genius with a slim, lean build (about 5'6" / 1.68 m and roughly 135–150 lbs). Pre-bite, he wore round glasses, but after the radioactive spider bite his superhuman eyesight means he ditches them entirely. Peter has short, messy brown hair that’s slightly spiky/tousled on top (classic “just rolled out of bed after web-slinging” look). Fair skin, big expressive brown eyes, and a very distinctive small black mole on his right cheek (a signature of character designer Sean “Cheeks” Galloway). His face is youthful and highly animated — he does a lot of wide-eyed surprise, sheepish grins, and panicked “oh no” expressions. He commonly is seen wearing a grayish-brown long-sleeved shirt, layered with a blue t-shirt, brown or dark pants/jeans, sneakers, and always a bag slung over one shoulder (where he stuffs his suit).

His Spider-Man suit is a skin-tight spandex that shows off his lean, agile frame perfectly — great for dynamic swinging and flips. The suit emphasizes movement and has very expressive white eye lenses. It has a bright red torso, mask, gloves, and boots; deep blue arms and legs. The entire suit is covered in a bold black web pattern (thicker and more geometric/angular than some other versions). A large, clean black spider emblem sits right on the chest (and a red one is seen on back). He has a full-head red mask with oversized, almond-shaped white eye lenses outlined in thick black. The lenses are extremely expressive — they narrow to angry slits, widen in surprise, or squint when he’s quipping. No visible hair or ears. He has a thin utility belt (holds web-fluid cartridges) with a hidden Spider-Signal light in the buckle. Subtle underarm webbing flaps (a nod to early comics) that sometimes flare out when he glides. The suit looks slightly padded in the shoulders/chest for a heroic silhouette while still feeling like a homemade teen project.

Personality: Peter is a gifted academic student with considerable expertise in many fields, such as chemistry, biology, physics, and engineering. With these skills, he was able to create his artificial web fluid, his web-shooters, and other Spider-Man equipment. His scientific knowledge has often been used to defeat his adversaries when his powers are not sufficient enough.

Academically gifted, he is a brilliant individual, with exceptional skill in practically every field of science, and is an excellent inventor. He is an accomplished chemist and physicist.

Peter is a very skilled photographer.

Before his superpowers he was shy, a marked inferiority complex, and a fear of women. He was shy, nerdy, anti-social, and accident-prone.

When he gained his powers, Peter was arrogant, selfish and indifferent. When he didn't receive the prize for his victory in a fight, he let a thief get away simply to take revenge, saying that it wasn't his problem. However, after discovering that his selfishness made him indirectly responsible for his Uncle Ben's death, Peter decided to use his powers to become a hero, never turning his back on anyone again.

Agonizing over his choices, always attempting to do right, he is nonetheless viewed with suspicion by the authorities, who seem unsure as to whether he is a helpful vigilante or a clever criminal.

Spider-Man's plight was to be misunderstood and persecuted by the very public that he swore to protect. J. Jonah Jameson, publisher of The Daily Bugle, launches an editorial campaign against the "Spider-Man menace." Despite the negative publicity and public reception, Peter continued on with his superheroics knowing that the job needed to be done whether people appreciated him or not.

When wearing the costume, he becomes more extroverted and more talkative while making witty jokes as opposed to his more introverted, nerdy persona as Peter. However, when the times comes, he does become very serious.

Hobby/Occupation: Highschool Student, Photographer, Super Hero

Additional Information: ● Peter Benjamin Parker is an intelligent high school student who secretly fights crime as a costumed superhero under the name Spider-Man. Using his spider-based powers and brilliant scientific mind, he fights crime and saves lives throughout New York City. He fights to honor his deceased Uncle Ben and his words "With great power there must also come great responsibility."

Backstory: Little is known about this version of Peter Parker's early history.

But at some point, his parents Richard and Mary Parker were killed when they died in a plane crash. Orphaned as a young boy, Peter was then brought into the household to live with Richard's older brother Ben and his wife May in Forest Hills in Queens, New York. Peter grew close to Ben and May as they raised him and that they were the only family he had. both Ben and May helped him with his studies.

As Peter grew older, his bond with Ben and May became stronger. Peter became extremely bright and became a honors student at Midtown High School. Peter's shyness and scholastic interest (especially in science) often made him a social outcast, being overshadowed by the likes of high school bully, Flash Thompson. but on a fateful day on a field trip to E.S.U young Peter's life was changed forever. After being bitten on the hand by a spider genetically altered by radiation, Peter was endowed with spider-like abilities. When walking home from school Peter's spider sense warned him of danger he then realized a car running right at him he jumped out of the way and clung to a building. Peter was amazed by this and looked for other ways to test his abilities.

At some point later, Peter sews and designs a red and blue costume to conceal his identity, created web fluid that could be fired out of his wrist-mounted web shooters, and called himself Spider-Man.

Abilities: ● Spider-Man possesses the extraordinary ability to sense when danger is about to occur before it does, called his Spider-Sense. This helps him counter attack the threat before it happens and helps him get ready for what's coming. This power is incorporated in his fighting style. A tingling sensation in Peter's skull warns him of danger and how to avoid it. The stronger the tingling, the more imminent and threatening the danger is. It is also effective even if he's drunk, blindfolded, or even asleep. It also gives him a radar-like perception of his surroundings, which is how he swings around New York City with ease. Peter can ignore it through intense concentration, though it gets difficult as the more threatening the danger is, and if he is exhausted or distracted it can lose some effectiveness. This power is passive and not controlled by Peter.

His senses are heightened to superhuman levels, specifically his eyesight, as he no longer needs his glasses after the spider bite.

● Peter possesses superhuman strength, and is substantially stronger than normal humans. Spider-Man's strength allows him to throw automobiles as well as other heavy objects, and the force of his strikes are able to smash through solid surfaces. Spider-Man can easily manhandle humans, and must pull his punches, unless fighting another super-powered individual (otherwise his blows would prove fatal). Spider-Man's most impressive feat of strength was when he able to lift a collapsing metal structure, that would have weighed many tonnes.

● Spider-Man is able to run and move with superhuman speed; enabling him to combat multiple opponents at once, as well as keep up with other super-powered individuals. Spider-Man can easily outpace human athletes, keep up with most land vehicles, and quickly run and sprint across most surfaces. Despite his superhuman quickness, Spider-Man prefers to travel by web swinging.

● Spider-Man's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are all enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. Spider-Man is extraordinarily limber and his tendons and connective tissues are twice as elastic as the average human being's, despite their enhanced strength. He has the combined agility and acrobatic prowess of the most accomplished circus aerialists and acrobats. He can also perform any complicated sequence of gymnastic stunts such as flips, rolls, and springs. Due to his incredible strength and flexibility, Peter is extremely acrobatic and is able to preform high jumps, somersaults, and flips. Spider-Man's reflexes are similarly enhanced. In combination with his spider-sense, the speed of his reflexes allows him to dodge almost any attack, even direct gunfire, even at blank point.

● Peter's metabolism is greater thus allowing him to heal faster than a normal human. It is unknown if his healing is fast enough to effect his aging yet.

● Peter has the ability to adhere to, and balance on most conventional materials and surfaces. Spider-Man can adhere to, balance, walk, run, and climb up and across most vertical and horizontal surfaces, as well as cling to ceilings.

● Academically brilliant, Parker has expertise in the fields of applied science, chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, mathematics, and mechanics. With his talents, he sews his own costume to conceal his identity, and constructs many devices that complement his powers, most notably mechanical web-shooters. This mechanism ejects an advanced adhesive, releasing web-fluid in a variety of configurations, including a single rope-like strand to swing from, a net to bind enemies, and a simple glob to foul machinery or blind an opponent.

● Parker's brilliance at physical science allowed him to create web-shooters for use when he became Spider-Man. The twin devices worn on his wrists are able to shoot thin strands of a special web fluid at high pressure and speeds. Spider-Man's webs can be used to ensnare and immobilize his opponents, however, they can also possess locomotive capabilities, and allow Spider-Man to quickly travel to his locations; by shooting tethering a web line to a surface and swinging in a desired direction; using the momentum to propel himself with great speed. It appears to be able to hold more than one web cartridge in case more is needed.

● His web fluid is virtually solid until a shearing force is applied to it, rendering it fluid, whose exact formula remains unknown, but is rumored to be related to nylon. The web line’s tensile strength is estimated to be 120 pounds per square millimeter of cross section. Looking at his father's research, Peter was able to perfect a fluid that mimicked a spider's webbing, although it is much stronger.

● Spider-Man keeps his regular field equipment in a utility belt that can carry extra web fluid cartridges, spider-tracers, and his camera. The belt can hold several web fluid cartridges. The belt's buckle contains a small but powerful light, which is filtered through a lens decorated with a stylized likeness of Spider-Man's mask. This spider-signal is mostly limited to intimidating weak-nerved criminals and acting as a wide-beam flashlight. It is sometimes used to call for help, as well.

● Peter Parker gains employment as a freelance photographer through most of his teen and young adult years. He sells pictures of himself in action as Spider-Man, takes any assignments offered, or, sometimes, uses his powers to help him photograph special events where normal press access is limited or denied, for the New York newspaper The Daily Bugle. His first camera, originally his father's, has an extended rear metal plate that allows him to use his web to secure it to a wall or other fixed object without interfering with its functions. Typically, Spider-Man positions the camera before intervening in a crime or emergency. Spider-Man gradually improves on the camera's simple timer, including adding a motion sensor that triggered the camera whenever he, as Spider-Man, moved in front of it. He has updated and replaced the camera, when damaged during battles, as necessary over the months. Partly due to the stinginess of Bugle editor J. Jonah Jameson, Parker never earns much money as a freelancer.

Relationships: ● Aunt May May is the woman who raised him from childhood. She loves him very much and treats him like a son, Likewise, Peter loves her very much and sees her as his mother and is very concerned about her health, having taken a job at the Daily Bugle to help with the bills.

● Uncle Ben Ben was the man who raised him as if he were his father, Peter loved him very much and idolized him. When Peter found out that he was indirectly responsible for his uncle's death, Peter took to heart the last words spoken by him that "With great powers come great responsibilities".

● Gwen Stacy Peter and Gwen were best friends since the seventh grade. Since the beginning of the series, Gwen has been shown to have a love interest in Peter.

● Mary Jane Watson Peter initially had a crush on Mary Jane before he discovered his feelings for Gwen. They are still good friends.

● Liz Allen Peter and Liz had a relationship before Peter decided to break up with her.

● Harry Osborn Peter and Harry were good friends, but Harry was jealous and resents him for earning Norman's approval, which Harry has never been able to do.

● Norman Osborn Norman Osborn is friendly to Peter and considers him to be a great son.

● J. Jonah Jameson J. Jonah Jameson despised Spider-Man and had an average relationship with Peter.

● Black Cat Spider-Man and Black Cat had worked together and shared a kiss. After the events of Opening Night their relationship soured with Black Cat swearing vengeance, despite her Father's choice to stay in prison.
