April Parker was created from May “Mayday” Parker’s genetic material as part of a scheme connected to Norman Osborn’s legacy. Unlike an ordinary clone, April was engineered with symbiote material incorporated into her body, leaving her convinced at first that she might actually be the original May Parker while the girl living with Peter and Mary Jane was the duplicate. That uncertainty immediately placed her in conflict with May, since April believed the Parker family and the life surrounding it should have belonged to her.
As the truth of her creation became clearer, April began forming an identity separate from May. She was accepted into the Parker household under the name April Parker and gradually developed a genuine attachment to the family she had initially tried to claim. Rather than continuing solely as May’s rival, she began fighting beside her and adopted a blue variation of the Spider-Girl costume, becoming Spider-Girl Blue while May continued operating in red. The two worked together as a pair despite April’s more aggressive instincts and the lingering tension caused by their shared appearance and origin.
April’s life during this period became an attempt to establish that she was more than somebody else’s duplicate. She attended school, interacted with May’s friends, and sometimes impersonated May with enough accuracy to cause trouble in her personal life. At the same time, she increasingly regarded the Parkers as her own family and joined May in protecting others, giving the two Spider-Girls a relationship that moved between rivalry, sisterhood, and an uneasy partnership.
Appearance: Spider-Girl Blue has a lean, athletic build with broad shoulders, a narrow waist, defined musculature, and long powerful limbs. Her entire body is enclosed in a tight full-body suit, leaving no visible skin. The mask is a cool medium blue with a darker web pattern spread across it in narrow intersecting lines. Two large white lenses with black borders dominate the face area. The blue from the mask continues across the upper torso and shoulders, where darker striping and angular bands frame the chest and collarbone area. A dark central spider emblem runs down the chest and abdomen, its narrow body extending vertically with long legs spreading across the blue sections.
The rest of the suit shifts into very dark charcoal and black-blue tones across the sides, lower torso, hips, upper legs, and parts of the arms, while the forearms, hands, lower legs, and feet return to the same web-patterned blue seen on the mask and upper body. The material fits closely enough to show the contours of her chest, abdomen, thighs, calves, and arms. Her fingers end in long sharp black claw-like tips, making both hands look more feral than standard gloves. Her feet are fully covered by the suit with smooth, shoe-less shaping.
Personality: April is confident, impulsive, and considerably more aggressive than May. Her uncertainty about whether she was the “real” May initially leaves her defensive and resentful, especially when she sees another person already occupying the life she instinctively feels belongs to her. Once she begins accepting herself as April, that hostility eases without completely disappearing. She enjoys provoking May and can be mischievous enough to impersonate her simply to interfere with situations she finds amusing, but beneath that behavior is a strong desire to belong somewhere rather than exist only as the result of someone else’s experiment.
May Parker is April’s most important relationship, shifting from outright hostility into something much closer to sisterhood. April still competes with her and handles danger with far less restraint, yet she increasingly fights beside May rather than against her. Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson-Parker also become parental figures to April once she is welcomed into the household, giving her the family she had previously believed had been stolen from her. Her interactions with May’s friends are complicated by their identical appearance, particularly when April takes advantage of that resemblance to pose as May, though people close enough to May can sometimes recognize the difference between them.
Spider-Girl Blue possesses the familiar spider-like strength, agility, wall-crawling, and danger awareness derived from May’s genetic template, allowing her to move and fight with much of the same physical capability as Spider-Girl. The symbiote material incorporated into April gives her additional control over her own body, allowing her to reshape portions of herself rather than depending entirely on conventional equipment.
Her symbiote physiology can generate organic webbing and alter its surface appearance, letting April form clothing and her blue Spider-Girl costume directly from her body. She can also extend and reshape her limbs into tendrils or bladed forms during combat, giving her a more aggressive close-range fighting style than May’s. Her body can recover from significant physical damage through the same unusual biological properties.
As Spider-Girl Blue, April combines those abilities with practical experience gained while fighting beside May. She relies on mobility, webbing, and sudden bodily transformations rather than carrying a large conventional arsenal, allowing her costume and weapons to emerge directly from the symbiotic material within her.

Spider-Girl dropped from the upper level of the parking garage as automatic fire cracked across the concrete below. Two armored thieves were forcing a security vehicle toward the exit while another held the ramp with a compact rifle. April landed on the hood hard enough to buckle it and punched one clawed hand through the windshield frame. The driver swerved toward a pillar, trying to scrape her off, and April’s forearm narrowed into a black-blue blade that drove down through the steering column. “You’re gonna wreck the whole garage before you lose me.”
The vehicle lurched sideways instead of stopping, clipping a divider while the gunman on the ramp opened fire again. April twisted away from the burst as her shoulder stretched into a long tendril and snapped toward the weapon. At the same time, one of the thieves near the rear doors jumped down and started moving around the vehicle toward her blind side. April kept one hand buried in the damaged steering assembly and turned toward the movement, her free arm already reshaping.
"You don't know what to call me, do you?"
"What'd I tell you about your jokes? Not even close to funny. I could go in this direction. That way we could b e, like, Spider-Girl Red and Spider-Girl Blue."
