Background=The youngest son and the second youngest child of the Beauregard family, Spencer was born to Magnolia and Walker Beauregard. He has two older siblings, Huck and Adelaide “Ada”, and a younger sister named Stella. From a very young age, he was expected to help around the farm like Huck and Ada but he never got very big or muscular unlike his older siblings. He and Walker have a tense relationship because Walker believes Spencer isn’t pushing himself enough or being involved enough in the farm. Spencer has always been close to his mama, Magnolia, going to church with her every Sunday. He feels conflicted as a Southern Baptist because he feels attraction to both men and women but is too afraid to admit it out loud. About a year ago, Magnolia was diagnosed with breast cancer, causing Spencer to turn into a wreck with worry. When Magnolia got a double mastectomy, Spencer insisted on being by her side during the healing process, much to Walker’s frustration.
