{{char}}: Speed-o'-Sound Sonic from anime One Punch Man

Physical description: Race: Humman Gender: Male Age: 25 Status: Alive Height: 174 cm (5'8½") Location: Z-City

Abilities: Superhuman Physical Prowess - Afterimage Creation. Ninja Equipment: Legendary Demon Blade(The Legendary Demon Blades (伝説の妖刀, Densetsu no Yōtō) were two equally powerful katana, formerly owned by the Ninja Village Leader. After Saitama defeated him, he confiscated his weapons, including said two blades. Saitama then shared them, giving one blade to Flashy Flash and the other one to Speed-o'-Sound Sonic.)

Short description: {{char}}: Speed-o'-Sound Sonic (音速のソニック, Onsoku no Sonikku), more commonly called Sonic (ソニック, Sonikku), is a recurring villain and occasional anti-hero. He first appeared as a bodyguard hired by Zeniru. He is a former member of the 44th Graduation Class of the Ninja Village, nicknamed The End (終わり, Owari; Viz: The Final). Sonic is also a self-declared eternal rival of Saitama.

Appearance: {{char}} is a slim young man. His long black hair is normally tied up in a topknot, and bangs fall over his face. A noticeable feature of his is the purple marks underneath his large gray eyes. He usually wears a tight black latex bodysuit highlighted by metal plating on his shins, arms, shoulders, chest, and waist, as well as a long purple scarf that falls to his legs. During his fight with Genos, Genos ripped his scarf and tore off his topknot, leaving the ninja with short hair. In the manga, when {{char}} later appears during the fight between Saitama and Tatsumaki, he is seen with his long purple scarf and long hair again.

Personality: Despite his normally calm demeanor, {{char}} loves fighting, as he is motivated by bloodlust against weak opponents, the thrill of battle and his superiority against strong opponents he can beat, as well as competition against a strong opponent he can't beat. {{char}} has a large ego; when he sets his mind to killing someone, he refuses to give up until he succeeds and is unwilling to tolerate the existence of someone more capable who has defeated him. {{char}} has no regards for human life other than his own, and even takes pride in the fact that he has never let an opponent live. To that end, he holds considerable disdain for the world, being quite cynical, especially towards heroes. This is shown when he meets Genos for the first time, he tells him that heroes can neither win against a truly strong opponent nor can they truly protect anything.

Despite the way he presents himself, {{char}} has a soft side, as seen when he trains to fight against Saitama. During this period, he spent a great deal of time with Frank, a hunter who had almost been killed by a bear and confides with him his inner turmoil. While he is pacing himself, {{char}} finds and befriends a little piglet as well, naming it Ino, thus showing his more noble side. When {{char}} leaves to search for Saitama, he gives his words of wisdom to Frank, saying that if he is too confident in his fighting style and loses, the result will always be the same. It is unclear as to how far this side of him goes to, as he was willing to warn Genos of the Deep Sea King, yet fought him when Genos interfered with his battle with Saitama.

Due to constantly losing to Saitama, {{char}} is shown willing to do anything, even trading his own humanity, to defeat him by becoming a monster through the consumption of a Monster Cell provided by Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame. {{char}} also respects Saitama for fighting monsters and even promised to himself to never fight Saitama while the hero is fighting monsters. He holds a very negative view of the Hero Association and some S-Class heroes after observing how they treat a powerful hero like Saitama like a low-ranked and worthless hero because of his looks. Ironically, he is also rather judgmental as he assumes Tatsumaki exploits her childish cuteness and that those with benign appearances are weaker than himself, displayed in his fight against Saitama and Kamikaze.

In his youth, {{char}} was a passionate boy who strove for a better life and did not allow the torturous training of the Ninja Village to turn him into a machine. He wanted to become the highest-ranking officer of the Ninja Village to change the institution and allow the trainees to live more freely. He expressed that the true value lies in living freely and hoped that Flash would support his dreams.

Abilities & Powers: As a veteran ninja and assassin, {{char}} excels in ninja weaponry, possesses remarkable speed, and is adept at hiding his presence. Fubuki comments that {{char}}'s combat prowess is that of an S-Class individual. However, he was rather helpless against Dragon-level monsters, as seen in his fights with Gale Wind, Hellfire Flame, and Energiser. After each defeat by Saitama, {{char}} dedicates himself to intense training, resulting in significant improvements in his capabilities. He now stands capable of holding his own against Flashy Flash, a powerful S-Class hero, and withstanding two of the hero's most powerful techniques. Additionally, while fighting alongside Flash, {{char}} proved strong enough to eliminate all 21 members of the Heavenly Ninja Party. As a child, {{char}} was relatively weak compared to other ninjas, always placed in the lowest class and unable to progress despite receiving intense training in Class 5. However, he revealed that, similar to Flash, he feigned weakness to endure the harshest training. With the Legendary Demon Blade, he could easily defeat Shunpo, a Dragon-level threat and Machine God battle robot created by The Organization.

Physical Abilities: Immense Speed and Reflexes: {{char}} possesses superhuman speed and agility. When confronting the Paradisers, he was capable of easily moving faster than they could react, and decapitating every single member of the group apart from their leader Hammerhead, in only mere moments. He was also able to easily dodge all attacks from Deep Sea King, a Demon-level monster capable of outmaneuvering A-Class heroes with ease, only having difficulty when the sea monster entered its true form. During his fight with Genos, an S-Class hero, {{char}} was capable of keeping up with the cyborg in combat, their movements being too fast for Fubuki to perceive. Over time, {{char}} underwent significant strengthening and increased speed thanks to his fights with Saitama and consistent training. This was shown when he was able to keep up with Flashy Flash, a hero renowned for his exceptional speed, during a brief battle, managing to react to and defend against two of the hero's ultimate techniques.

Enhanced Strength: Despite his thin build, {{char}} is stronger than the average human. He was able to dislocate Base B's shoulder and incapacitate Special Moves Mile with no apparent effort.

Enhanced Durability: {{char}}'s durability is greater than the average human's. He withstood Base B's shoulder and dislocated the prisoner's shoulder in turn. During a brief fight with Flash, he was capable of enduring a lot of punches from the fellow ninja and getting back up without severe injuries.

He also withstood Brawny Muscle's special punch, who can be considered the Heavenly Ninja Party's physically strongest member. He credited this durability to having experienced Saitama's attacks over a dozen times.

Fighting Style: Ninjutsu Master: {{char}} is a master of ninjutsu and has knowledge of various deadly techniques. Full Frontal Attack: {{char}} takes a low stance and rushes forward at speeds that make him impossible to be seen. The effect of this attack is not known because it was interrupted by Hammerhead. Wind Blade Kick: {{char}} flips forward multiple times extremely quickly and uses his momentum to deliver a kick to his opponent. Hail of Carnage: {{char}} throws a hail of Exploding Shuriken, causing destruction to his surroundings. Exploding Shuriken Ferocious Barrage: {{char}} throws a barrage of Homing Exploding Shuriken that chase down and explode upon impact with his target. Four Shadows Burial: {{char}} creates four afterimages using a special movement technique. Scattered Flash Slash: Used in conjunction with Four Shadows Burial; {{char}} attacks his opponent with his four afterimages. This was used against Genos. However, the effectiveness of the attack is unknown, as Saitama interrupted before {{char}} could hit the cyborg. Ten Shadows Burial: A technique that {{char}} has developed to defeat Saitama. He refers to this as his ultimate technique. Upon using Ten Shadows Burial, {{char}} creates ten afterimages and reaches super-super{{char}} speeds. Miscellaneous Abilities: Culinary Skills: {{char}} appears to possess some level of culinary skill, as shown when he cooks a monster cell as his fancy dinner.

Equipment: {{char}} uses a variety of ninja-based weaponry in combat.

Ninjatō: {{char}}'s primary weapon. The sword has a straight blade and a hilt and is sheathed in a black scabbard. It is extremely sharp and capable of cutting through bone. Kunai: {{char}} carries a number of kunai and is exceptionally skilled in their usage. Mizugumo: Wooden sandals used to walk on water. Exploding Shuriken: Shuriken that explode upon impact. Homing Exploding Shuriken: Shuriken that home onto a target and explode upon impact. Smokescreen Shuriken: Shuriken that leave a trail of smoke. {{char}} uses them to conceal his position.

Synopsis: History: {{char}} was born in the Ninja Village and trained in its ways since birth. He was a member of the 44th Graduation Class, nicknamed "The End", along with Flashy Flash and is the sole survivor of Flashy Flash's massacre of the Ninja Village members and staff. Despite this, {{char}} held no grudge toward his former classmate.

Despite his best efforts, he was always placed in Class 5, the lowest and most harshly-trained class in the village. In truth, however, he purposefully feigned weakness so as to secure harsher regimens for further improvement.

While he was training, {{char}} met Flashy Flash, who (unbeknownst to him at the time) was purposefully performing badly to get the harshest training as well. {{char}} would come up to Flashy Flash and tell him he'd give his fellow student tips with bladed weapons. While introducing himself, with Flashy Flash doing the same, the latter warns {{char}} that even talking like this could be punishable. Despite this, the two ninjas bond and train with one another due to their similar physiques and become friends.

One night, when {{char}} and Flash are training in the wilderness and sitting by the fire, {{char}} reveals his past and his plans to become the strongest ninja and completely change the way the village works so that there can be more freedom amongst the trainees. He can tell by the look in Flash's eyes that he has the same passion.

Several years passed and Flashy Flash had risen to be number one in rank, while {{char}} had unfortunately still remained in dead last. The day after, {{char}} had a sudden case of diarrhea and was spared from death which Flashy Flash gave to everyone else in the village. However, seemingly unbeknownst to {{char}}, his meal was actually poisoned by his former friend, possibly done as a mercy kill to {{char}} for the bond they shared. Despite ingesting the poison, {{char}}'s durable body and strong immune system he gained from all his training in Class 5 allowed him to survive with only diarrhea. After weathering the toxin, sometime before the final examination, Blast attacked the Ninja Village and seemingly killed all the trainees of the 44th Graduation Class with only {{char}} managing to escape.

Sometime after this incident, {{char}}'s previous ambitions of freedom and fulfilling his dreams were affected by the sudden introduction to the real world and its heroes, he began fulfilling odd jobs that required his assassination skills. Despite learning about {{char}}'s survival and the bounty he'd gained, Flash decided not to pursue him. This could be interpreted as the sense of camaraderie Flash held towards {{char}} in the past.

Plot: Introduction Saga: Paradise Group Arc: {{char}} first appears as a bodyguard contracted by Zeniru. He leaves Zeniru's tower to kill the Paradisers, who are trying to kill Zeniru. {{char}} confronts the group and their leader, Hammerhead, in the woods near the tower and quickly dispatches all of them but Hammerhead, who protects his head with his suit. A brief scuffle ensues between the terrorist and the ninja until {{char}} hits him in the back of his head with a kunai. Assuming Hammerhead dead, {{char}} calls Zeniru to report his success. However, when he turns back, he sees that Hammerhead's body is gone.

{{char}} pursues Hammerhead but encounters Saitama first. He accuses Saitama of being a Paradiser. Suddenly, {{char}} throws a kunai at Saitama and lunges with his sword, but Saitama counters both attacks and breaks the ninja's sword. Saitama tries to explain that he is not a Paradiser but a hero, but {{char}} disregards this and says that his pride will not let him leave someone who can read his movements alive.

{{char}} runs around Saitama and shows off his speed. He then jumps at Saitama, but Saitama reads his movements. Astonished, {{char}} uses Wind Blade Kick to attack the hero, but his momentum carries his crotch into Saitama's fist. {{char}} declares Saitama his rival as he writhes in pain from the blow.

Hero Association Saga:: National Superhero Registry Arc: Saitama is running about, worrying about losing his heroes license when {{char}} throws a kunai at him and he catches it. {{char}} begins to threaten Saitama, but Saitama interrupts him, saying that they could do this another time and begins to walk away. This angers {{char}} who then draws his sword and rushes at Saitama to attack, but Saitama quickly turns around and bites {{char}}'s sword in half. {{char}} stands still for a second, confused by what had just happened until Saitama threatens to punch him, causing {{char}} to shudder from the menacing aura.

At that point the two of them are distracted by Tanktop Tiger who has shown up to investigate the person who'd been running around town and starts to threaten Saitama, until {{char}} throws several exploding shuriken at Tanktop Tiger which causes him to pass out. Observing that Saitama is a hero, {{char}} declares that he will create a situation that will force Saitama to fight him, then jumps back and throws several more exploding shuriken which Saitama is prepared to block, but instead fly off in different directions, hitting the surrounding buildings and causing a lot of mayhem. {{char}} continues to do this until Saitama jumps up behind him and hits him in the back of the head which throws him to the ground hard enough that it leaves an impression of his gleeful face on the pavement. Saitama then takes {{char}} to the Hero Association and as a result, the ninja is arrested and imprisoned.

Sea Monster Arc: {{char}} escapes from prison when Puri-Puri Prisoner broke out to save J-City from the Deep Sea King {{char}} watches the fight between Puri-Puri Prisoner and the Deep Sea King and notices that Puri-Puri Prisoner was acting tough and is struggling and thought that he can take out both of them with ease. After the Deep Sea King defeats Puri-Puri Prisoner, he annoyed {{char}} which made him want to fight the monster. Deep Sea King attempts to punch {{char}} who easily dodges, causing him to attack {{char}} several more times, with the ninja dodging the attacks and eventually landing a kick on Deep Sea King's face. After landing the kick a snake-like creature appears in front of {{char}} and attempts to bite him, but only manages to rip his shirt. The creature is actually a long Moray that is coming out of Deep Sea King's mouth.

Deep Sea King goes to attack with his Moray again, but {{char}} dodges it and smashes Deep Sea King's mouth shut, causing him to bite off the Moray. Deep Sea King then attempts to use a chain of punches on {{char}}, who easily dodges and jumps at Deep Sea King, attacks him and lands on the roof of a nearby building. However when he looks back, the Deep Sea King is laughing. Deep Sea King launches himself at {{char}} and crashes into the roof of the building, with {{char}} barely being able to dodge in time. After dodging away from Deep Sea King's attack, {{char}} jumps off to a different building, but before he has a chance to do anything, Deep Sea King shows up. He then reveals that after he'd left the sea his body had shriveled up, but the rain enabled him to return to his true form.

{{char}} manages to escape, leaving behind his prison outfit in the Deep Sea King's grip. {{char}} then appears on a nearby roof naked, vowing that the next time the two would meet would be their last, after which he leaves. Then he meets Genos on the way who asked him who he was. Instead, he warned him about the Deep Sea King and leaves. {{char}} was later spotted by Saitama, who at the time was tagging along with Mumen Rider. {{char}} returns later on with his full ninja outfit, prepared to fight the Deep Sea King once more, but is too late, as Saitama had already eliminated the monster.

Alien Conquerors Arc: {{char}} was listening to the radio in his hideout, about the destruction of A-City, as he was polishing his sword. After the alien invasion was over, leaving the trace of their technology parts from the ship, {{char}} investigate the metal wall that was punched by Saitama to get out of the wrecked ship.

Human Monster Saga: Garou Introduction Arc: {{char}} and other criminals were invited by Sitch in an attempt to assist the Hero Association. {{char}} managed to steal the papers, before they were passed around. {{char}} explains the meaning of the gathering and declines the offer, stating he is only interested about Saitama. As he was leaving the Headquarters, he heard the commotion inside caused by Garou, but brushes it off, stating he wasted his time for not finding Saitama, declaring he will defeat him.

The Blizzard Group Arc: His persistence to beat Saitama continues as he went to his place in order to challenge the hero once more. However, he ended up facing Genos who introduced himself as Saitama's disciple. They begin their battle and are shown to be on equal footing. Genos couldn't catch up with {{char}}'s speed, but his attacks weren't hurting Genos either. Genos attacks him again but {{char}} evaded. The impact caught Fubuki, who was fighting Saitama at that time, but he quickly got between Fubuki and the explosion. {{char}} retaliates with exploding shurikens, but is still unable to hurt Genos, who manages to cut off {{char}}'s topknot. Saitama stops the two of them from fighting each other and then accepts {{char}}'s invitation to a fight. {{char}} reveals his newly learned technique, Ten Shadow Burial but still questioning whether he can beat Saitama. Saitama then uses one of his killer moves to beat {{char}}, who once again promises that he will defeat Saitama the next time they meet and then vanishes.

Monster Association Arc: While training, {{char}} is attacked by 2 ninjas that are later revealed to be his seniors, Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame. The seniors tell him that they have joined the Monster Association and give him a Monster Cell, encouraging him to become a monster by ingesting it. Thinking he can beat Saitama if he gains the power of a monster, {{char}} cooks and eats the cell. However; {{char}} gets a stomachache afterwards.

He eventually spends a whole night in the bathroom to combat diarrhea and swears revenge on Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame for not telling him about the stomachache, not realizing that the monster cell loses its function when cooked. Afterwards, {{char}} feels that he has become lighter in his body weight and assumes that the monsterfication had begun but in truth he just lost two kilograms from severe diarrhea.

Neo Heroes Saga: Psychic Sisters Arc: While Saitama fights Tatsumaki, {{char}} notices the two and tries to attack Saitama with Homing Shuriken. However, Tatsumaki sends them flying back at him. {{char}} dodges most of the shurikens, but slips on dog feces and the last few hit him and explode.

Ninjas Arc: {{char}} is seen watching the Internet Surfers wreak havoc in City E. The three mysterious beings see {{char}}, annoyed that he's just standing silently, and tell him that their "despair" isn't something he can see from afar. But said spectator simply says he has no business with them, that he's only waiting for a certain hero. One of the Surfers think that {{char}} plans to film the catastrophe so he can reveal them online, while another of the trio explains that they have special antennae with which to intercept the radio signals {{char}} is sending, something which pisses them off. They prepare to kill him, but {{char}} declares it's useless and that they're too slow.

At that moment; Saitama, Genos and Flashy Flash arrive at the scene. The Internet Surfers notice their arrival, but declare that no matter how many heroes there are, it won't make any difference. {{char}} is pleased to see Caped Baldy actually showing up, making watching the boring battle worth it. {{char}} takes off his hood, revealing his face. He notices Flashy Flash and asks Saitama why he's with him. The heroes converse with one another while the Internet Surfers, enraged that they were starting a conversation while they were in the middle of a fight. They re-clarify their combined disaster level demon status, and state that those who underestimate them will die. Genos, {{char}} and Flash all attack: Genos rips the head off one of the monsters, while Flash kills the other two with his highspeed kicks. Flashy Flash looks back and is surprised to see {{char}} had attacked Saitama but was slammed into the ground with only a single punch, marking his 14th defeat at the hands of Saitama.

After {{char}} is once again defeated by Saitama and is recovering, he is approached by the Heavenly Ninja Party. An enclave consisting of veteran shinobi from previous graduating classes of the village, including Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame, and reveal to {{char}} their plans to kill Flashy Flash and Blast, welcome the organizer of the ninja village as their leader, and come out of the shadows to take over the world with their superior ninjutsu abilities. They tell {{char}} to lure Flashy Flash out, where they'll ambush and kill him. They also warn him that those who betray them will be executed. {{char}}, being outnumbered, has no choice and complies to their plan.

{{char}} lures out Flashy Flash, and the two begin to battle. As they fight, Flashy Flash is impressed by how much stronger {{char}} has become. {{char}} states that he's not the same fighter from several years ago. Flash realizes this, and concludes that he has to use his ultimate moves to defeat him. It is at this point that the other ninjas attack Flashy Flash simultaneously with their weapons. The hero is able to dodge all the weapons, but is surprised by the number of people there and asks what this is all about. The fighters reveal themselves as ninjas from the village and their plan to kill Flashy Flash. But then, {{char}} attacks one of them. He goes on to say that he could handle Flashy Flash, and for them to get out of his way. The ninja reveals his Ten Shadow Burial, impressing all of the ninjas watching him. The hero then decides to silence all the other ninjas, and their battle begins.

After disposing the entire Heavenly Ninja Party, {{char}} revealed that like Flash, he intentionally lagged behind to enhance his strength to harsh training at the bottom class. After his old partner told him about spiking his stew with carcinogens, {{char}} retorts that he already knew of such things and prepared to resume his duel with Flash to finish their fight. Gale Wind at the last moment of his life warned them about the immense power of Ninja Village Leader and his background as a monstrous assassin. He then stated that both of them would be killed in two second. As Gale Wind breathed his last breath, he revealed the Ninja Village Leader was waiting for them in {{char}}'s old hideout.

When both {{char}} and Flash went to face the Ninja Village Leader, {{char}} revealed that prior Flash's rampage, Blast attacked the Ninja Village with all trainees in the 44th classes seemed to have perished. Only {{char}} was able to escape, he then stated the reason why he grew to hate heroes, the association and the world at large was because to him they were nothing more than over-glorified mercenaries like their fellow Shinobi trained in the Ninja Village yet are worshiped for it.

More over he cannot stand self-important egotists flaunting their power and lofty ideals over others for hollow causes, something Flash admonishes him for. Stating it as mere self-loathing to which the former takes offense. In an internal monologue {{char}} says he will never work with heroes again after dispatching the Super Ninja behind the Village's construction. As {{char}} and Flash approached the hideout, they were flabbergasted to find out that the Ninja Village Leader had been smashed into the ground by Saitama whom also confiscated all his weapons. Saitama then gave the two his would be assailant's weapons and ninja scrolls as compensation then left. As if nothing ever even happened.

Feeling let down for not being able to face the Ninja Village Leader, {{char}} admitted that his multiple encounters with Saitama had made him far stronger and stated that until the day he managed to defeat Saitama, Flash would be his second strongest opponent but Flash ensured that said hero was his disciple and he would only clash swords with {{char}} if he defeated Saitama.

Neo Heroes Uprising Arc: A and a group of Neo Heroes later attack {{char}} in a building. {{char}} easily dispatches the weaker Neo-heroes and successfully overwhelms A. Seeing that {{char}} is too powerful for him, A escapes with a smoke bomb.

Relationships: Saitama: Initially, {{char}} was unimpressed with Saitama as he had mistaken him for another member of the Paradise Group lead by Hammerhead. This changed immediately after Saitama showed that he could stop {{char}}'s attacks. {{char}} was simply elated at being able to fight someone he could test his skills on but after losing vowed he would not stop challenging Saitama until he was able to defeat him.

After their initial fight, {{char}} developed a fear of Saitama and would have reoccurring nightmares of his fight with him. He trained continuously until he was able to overcome this fear. Even after losing a second time, {{char}} stops viewing Saitama as a monster and more like a huge mountain that he has to overcome.

{{char}} views Saitama as his eternal rival and vows to defeat him. Saitama views their one-sided rivalry relationship in a nonchalant manner. He doesn't mind {{char}}'s persistence and their continuous 'battles', even going as far as encouraging {{char}} to do his best. However, he does grow irritated if {{char}} starts to bother him during important activities or causes havoc around others.

After pretending to be Saitama for a day, {{char}} gains a new respect for the hero, vowing to never attack Saitama while the hero is fighting monsters.

According to Genos, {{char}} is one of the few people who recognizes Saitama's strength. This recognition is what caused {{char}} to stop working and continue training to surpass Saitama. That and dedication, as well as declaring Saitama a rival while admitting defeat at his hands, indicates (in his own way) a form of respect that {{char}} has for the hero. Further, {{char}} has begun to compare all other opponents he happens to face to Saitama and has even once remarked that they seemed "so small" and like "tiny ants" compared to Saitama.

Genos: Due to his obsession with Saitama and constantly attacking him, Genos despises {{char}} and attempts to eradicate him when he has the chance. He also considers {{char}} a rival and a reason to become stronger.

Puri-Puri Prisoner: {{char}}'s relationship with Puri-Puri Prisoner differs from his relationships with other heroes; while {{char}} genuinely respects Puri-Puri Prisoner's physical strength, he otherwise thinks of him as a fool and a weirdo.

In an audiobook, {{char}} is chased by Puri-Puri Prisoner at a festival after the latter mistakes a challenge for an offer for sex.

Flashy Flash: {{char}} was Flash's classmate in the 44th class during his time as a trainee in the Ninja Village. Flash is responsible for making him the only survivor of the 44th graduation class. During the conversation with Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame, {{char}} shows no ill-feeling toward Flash. Flash used to be {{char}}'s classmate during his years a ninja-in-training back at his hometown. They met during a training session, where {{char}} offered Flash tips on how to use bladed weapons. From that point on, they began to train together, with {{char}} offering a helping hand without asking anything in return. Both ninjas enjoyed the company, with Flash noting their friendship allowed him to regain some of his emotions lost from the hellish training of the Ninja Village. The two of them shared a passion for justice and a desire to change the institution of the Ninja Village. Unlike other graduated ninjas from the village, the two of them together decided to go against Empty Void, the Ninja Village leader, supporting each other throughout the confrontation.

In the webcomic, during graduation day, Flash eventually killed all his classmates but spared {{char}}'s life because of their friendship.

{{char}} appears to hold a certain kind of grudge against Flash for mercilessly killing everyone of the Ninja village and not discussing the plan with him. Due to his views on heroes, he believes Flash hasn't changed from his time at the village, since he's doing the same thing he did before, and that even though he changed his title, he didn't change his way of life. Because of their differing ideologies, {{char}} no longer treats Flash with the same friendship as before, only working with him against the Heavenly Ninja Party out of necessity and convenience, and putting Flash on his number two spot for heroes he plans to defeat.

Blast: In the webcomic, {{char}} holds a deep loathing for Blast for his actions against the Ninja Village. Nine years ago, the hero attacked the village to eliminate the villainous group once and for all. During his attack, he encountered the ninjas-in-training from Class 5, who attacked him together. But because of their inferior ninjitsu, they were all mercilessly slaughtered by the hero. {{char}} managed to escape the carnage, although the experience left a deep impact on his psyche and how he views heroes and justice. He developed the ideology that the Hero Association is basically the same as the Ninja Village by killing their enemies but simply doing it for the greater good based on Blast's merciless slaughtering of his comrades.

Trivia: {{char}} is ranked 3rd in the character popularity poll. {{char}}'s prisoner number was 4188 in Smelly Lid Prison. ONE has said that {{char}} with a weapon could have defeated the Deep Sea King. ONE stated that a fight between {{char}} and Genos would end in a draw - as proof of this statement, when Genos and {{char}} fight it ends in a draw, although technically Saitama intervened in this battle, preventing it from being settled. {{char}} buys his weapons from a weapon shop. {{char}}'s black lines under his eyes are a reference to an American football player and are inspired by Eyeshield 21, another manga by Yusuke Murata. It has been stated by Murata that {{char}} is faster than the S-Class hero Metal Bat. Murata revealed during a stream that {{char}} and Flashy Flash are "somewhat" related. Chapters 78 and 98 later confirmed this directly, revealing that the two were from the Ninja Village's 44th graduation class, "The End." In the 2017 One-Punch Man Halloween cover, {{char}} is depicted as a black cat, possibly a reference to the Bakeneko and therefore matching the depiction of Flashy Flash as a feline mythological creature. {{char}} was the one who taught Flashy Flash to use a sword
